I foubd this place on yelp as im not from here and while I'm here seeing the employees of magic hands work on my car, they are awesome. They truly do have magic hands. From the moment I got here, I told them what I wanted which wasn't a full blown car wash. I had just had a stain on my seat so they recommended something that was specific to that so I wouldn't break the bank. They were considerate and very hard workers. The car that I am driving happens to be a rental and I needed my seats detailed which included things like food grease and the unknown - both of which they got out. I am very pleased with the efficiency (done in about 30-40 mins) and the quality of work done as well as the price. I am so grateful! Thank you! read more

So, I tried a new car wash on a co-worker's recommendation and I must say that I'm quite impressed! Given the shocking lack of hand-wash car washes in the New Haven area, I've been desperate for a place that won't damage my car's finish. I opted for the 'Super Interior' wash to clean out months of grime and was not disappointed. They removed floor mats and washed them, vacuumed, wiped down all surfaces and windows (they even managed to get all of the Labrador grime and hair out of the cargo area!) The exterior got a great hand wash, towel and air drying and a forced air to clear the door jambs- which will be key when the freezing weather returns. This definitely isn't the speediest of their service options, but it was worth the wait. They brought my car back from grimesville and got my ride turning heads once again! read more

These guys did a fantastic job detailing my big ass SUV on somewhat short notice. Also, we were a little late picking up our car and an employee stayed behind to make sure the vehicle wasn't unattended in the lot. Totally blew my mind. Hard to find service like that nowadays. I just made my first visit to Magic Hands and am extremely unhappy. I paid $26 for the premium wash. The exterior of the car looks good but the interior is barely clean. They did not vacuum any of the seats, barely wiped the console, dashboard, side rails of the car, ECt.. I am so sorry that I left a tip before inspecting my car. The interior windows are also dirty and had paid to have then cleaned. Beyond disappointed. read more

Honestly I used to love going here. Then the manager left or went somewhere else. The workers give attitude and today my car had dirt left on both sides. Plus I paid extra for the first time because I have an SUV. Still had spots on my windows with dirt and one guy told me the car wash doesn't get that type of dirt off. I wiped it with my finger and it came off. Basically I think if they're too busy they do a crappy job so now I won't go back. While I understand that some dirt takes extra effort to come off, I was able to wipe the dirt off with a finger. Your staff was rude and sarcastic. I won't be back. read more

They wash the vehicles by hand mostly. Everything from the basic washes to the details come out great. I'll continue to go there and continue to recommend them hands down. I have seen this place grow since they started. Matter fact I know the property owner. Their prices are great and their people are very friendly. Now, every time I go there and get a wash doesn't matter if I get the expensive one or the cheap service they don't do a good job. Unfortunately I always notice when I get home. If I pay for tire shine, is not done and plus MULTIPLES spots are missed on my small ass Civic.i got it say when it comes to this car wash you get for what you pay for does not apply. Stay away from this disaster, poor excuse for a car wash and then after your car comes out like garbage there gonna tell you it's an additional 8.50 to redo it. This car wash is great because they really do hand wash your car, actually using mitts to wash over the exterior surface of the vehicle. Also, they hand dry the vehicle and open all doors to wipe down the door jambs. Then, at the $23 price, they vacuum the interior, wipe down surfaces, etc. They do an amazing job. WARNING!!!!! Today I got a car wash/hand wax for $47.... It is the worst job I had ever experienced!! I had better going threw a drive threw!! The car wasn't fully vacuumed and the trunk wasn't done. I would not recommend this car wash to anyone. Had a very bad experience there, my car was damaged while having it cleaned there. When I bought it to their attention I was yelled at and told that it was there before I got there. I would never blame anyone for any damages that were not done there. I left very upset and when I got home called and spoke to the owner Yvette Jimenez she told me to send her pictures and she would investigate. This happened on a Saturday and I told her I would also get an estimate for the damages on Monday and send it to her. I sent her the pictures and the estimate and she never replied to me. I have tried numerous times to get in touch with her and she will not take any of my calls. Not a good way to run a business. I hope that she reads to review and can make this right. These business have insurance so I don't know why she would not take care of this. Goes to show you that not all business stand behind their name. Last year I brought all my cars to the Magic Hands car wash on Woodmont road in Milford Ct. to have them washed and waxed and they came out excellent. This year I brought my first car there and was shocked at how badly it came out so I'll never go back there. When I picked it up I had to ask them to clean the console, vacuum the floors and seats, and inside the trunk. Wow I guess it's not part of the detail? There were no other cars there but they still rushed through with mine. read more

Incredible job. They with their butts off for such a reasonable price and it's a serious detailing. Had a slight dispute about something car related (long story, they did nothing wrong) and the owner dealt with me directly over his personal cell and we resolved it civilly and quickly.
