I loved her playlist and it had some great Latin spice to it to really add a great energy and vibe to the class. She did a great job of breaking down the exercises and explained well how to execute each one properly. She even walked around to ensure we were all doing it correctly and gave helpful adjustments when needed. The class consisted of students of all levels and was accessible to everyone. I myself haven't done Pilates in several months, so I loved how easy it was to jump back in! The studio consists of several reformers, all of which were in great condition. All the props you need are at each reformer, along with a chair in front, which we used for some of the exercises. The studio is conveniently located in downtown Burbank, with easy parking across the street at one of the free lots. It can get a bit parked up at night, but I always manage to find a spot when I'm in the area!

I took my FIRST ever Pilates class here with Cynthia as the instructor. I had a great experience, check in was easy, and I came 10 min early so I could get a quick crash course of the reformer that was going to be used in the class. Cynthia was mindful to ask if I had any pain, injuries, or anything else for her to keep in mind throughout the class. She made sure to come fix my posture and anyone else in the class to properly challenge ourselves safely. Classes are maybe up to 10 people MAX so you can be sure you'll be attended to. So far I've taken two classes and they have been full body workouts. I appreciate that they've started on time and leave me learning about my fitness level. I'll be coming back more! *Note- I used classpass*

From the: - friendly/welcoming instructors - bomb playlists that keep me energized - the overall vibe of the community - dark vibey environment I've been coming here 4-5x a week for the past 2 months and i absolutely love it! Such a great way to start off my day! They offer time slots from 5am and sometimes 8pm and it works SO well with my busy schedule. Some amazing instructors that keep my movements safe, effective and pushing myself to do a couple more reps: -JINNY (embodiment of total queen and badass! From corrections, to form, energy and encouraging/getting to know each client!! Amazing!) -Ayana (so sweet! Gives the best vibes even at the a** crack of dawn! gives u corrections/pushes u when she KNOWS you can do more) -Isabel (welcoming vibe and brings the energy! LOVE all her playlists too lol) Overall, the class itself is quick and over before you know it. They also have a short stretching and yoga section at the end of each class. I used to be adverse to affirmations, deep breathing and calming my mind as i do my stretches, thinking i was wasting time. I used to finish the class and dip out of there. But little by little i started staying a little extra for that moment to stretch out and clear my mind. DOES WONDERS!!! Literally it shapes the rest of my day and im so glad they incorporate this into the end of each class!!!! In the end, the price is a little high compared to other studios that offer a shower room and lockers. For $300/month, it would be a GAME CHANGER to have a shower, prepare, and go straight into my day after class. And sometimes emergencies or traffic or late coworkers happen, having to pay the cancellation fee is understandable. But if we wanted to reschedule for a same day class, we shouldn't have to pay an extra class fee. But that's just my opinion. I understand a spot is wasted if someone cancels, but i wish they waived the class fee if you wanted to schedule another class. In the end, i still love this studio and the one in studio city. Hopefully they have a location with showers it would totally be a 10/10!! Thank u PPLA!!

Parking lot is small so plan to get there early, but I saw some street parking available a block away as backup The staff greeted me right away and asked if there were any body injuries that the instructor should know about. Space itself is bright, clean, and pretty spacious. The reformers are nicely spread out, so you have enough room to actually move without feeling like you're going to accidentally kick your neighbor. Everything also looked newer and well maintained, and they had plenty of props available throughout class. There are reformers closer to the mirror and another row further away from the mirror. Our instructor felt a little too fast paced for me but she walked around to make corrections. We also did a good mix of strength work and stretching, with modifications offered when needed. By the end, I definitely felt like I got a full-body workout without leaving completely destroyed. I actually felt really good afterward! I would just humbly request that we change up the music to be more upbeat during the exercises!

The studio is spacious and has a lovely layout with a large mirror in front and reformers well spaced out from one another. The reformers were all new and in great condition and the studio was also bright and clean with cute decor. There were plenty of props available to use. The instructor was great at really describing how to get into each move and incorporated a variety of exercises and stretches to get a full body workout. There were also modifications available, if needed. Afterwards, I felt amazing. To say I am a bit particular about the human body, especially mine would be accurate. I was lucky enough to be referred to Debbie, and have not been sorry for one minute since. The days before I saw her, I could not sleep, was sitting on ice, there was not one comfortable position as my left hip was vexing! After my first session with Debbie it stopped hurting, and has not bothered me since. With two reformers, a pilates chair, and various "devices" there is never a dull moment, nor a session that is like the last. Debbie understands the human body, has a myriad of ways of working around issues, and she listens. There are times I come in and say "stretch, and murder my core" and she does. Other times she sees how I am moving when I walk in the door, and creates a great session on the fly based on what she sees, and it is always spot on. If you make room in your budget and schedule for her, you will not be disappointed!

In this day, it is easy to run to the injections and/or surgery for things we don't give the time to heal and rebuild. It's harder to do the work and discover how the body has the ability to heal. For the past two years, I've been going more regularly, and I can truly say that I have nothing but great things to say about Core Conditioning. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with Elson, Antonio, Alyssa, Brandon, and many other therapists. I currently work with Jenica. Every single physical therapist I've worked with has been wonderful. Each has their own unique approach and strengths, but they have all been knowledgeable, attentive, caring, and genuinely committed to helping me feel better. Core has really become a place our entire family trusts. My husband and both of my kids have also gone to Core over the years for various issues. My kids went while they were in high school, whether they needed help with sports-related injuries or general back issues. We have all had such positive experiences there, and my entire family loves Core. The assistants to the therapists are also wonderful to deal with and very good at what they do. One of the things I especially appreciate about Core is that they recruit and accept students and graduates from various programs throughout the city, giving them the opportunity to gain valuable experience and further develop their skills. I think it's wonderful that Core supports the community in this way while helping develop the next generation of professionals in the field. The experience extends beyond the therapists as well. Vanessa, who handles the front office, is always such a pleasure to deal with. She is friendly, accommodating, and incredibly helpful. She even remembers to call me when there is a cancellation if she knows I'm looking for an additional appointment, which I really appreciate. Another thing I really appreciate about Core Conditioning is that they accept insurance, which can be so important when you need ongoing physical therapy. I personally have Blue Shield, and the entire insurance process has always been easy and seamless. I've never had to worry about it, which makes the overall experience that much better. Whenever someone tells me they need physical therapy, Core Conditioning is always the place I recommend. After 10 years of being treated there, I can confidently say that I have consistently had a positive experience and have always felt that I was in very capable and caring hands. I highly recommend them.

PILATES - I was referred to this place by a friend and neighbor who goes to PT in studio city. I…read morelike the fact that there are only four reformers here so the class is small. I should've paid attention to some of the red flags. They are very limited classes. Sometimes you logon in the class is canceled. I could not find anything on their website that tells you how long a class is good for or a package if you buy one, and how soon you have to cancel your reservation without penalty. I tried to call the Burbank location multiple times but never got a person to speak with. So I went ahead and bought one class. I scheduled that class for Saturday morning at 8:30. Showed up at 8:18. I buzzed the door to get in. The first 10 seconds was silence. A lady that was working there that buzzed me in was doing a private with someone else. She asked who I was there for because she was the only one there that day. I proceeded to tell her that I was signed up for the 830 class. She told me she was unaware of one. I then apologetically said oh let me look at my app to make sure I didn't get the day and time wrong. I opened up the app and the class is now marked is canceled. No notification in the app, no email, no phone call, nothing. Just canceled without warning. The lady offered no apology. Just told me they send notifications through the app (they didn't) I always find it quite frustrating that you penalize customers for not canceling within a certain time period but you don't give the same respect to your patrons. I sent an email on Saturday, and got a response on Tuesday that my request for the payment to be credited back to my account would be granted, along with an acknowledgment of the instructor not sending a message out in the app. The person also did offer an apology. It's a very poor way to do business. It was a horrible first impression and I will never go back here. I hope they use this to do better for future customers.
