The Class: Mona was our instructor. Good energy & good sense of humor! I was glad I could still smile during her MegaBurn 45 minutes class! I like it she always suggested modified poses for the beginners like me so I wouldn't feel discourage & still have fun. I have never experienced any fitness class that I could sweat and feel the burn & sore just in 45 minutes. The next day even worse... OMG!! But once I feel better the 2nd day, I want to do it again! Because the burn & the soreness are telling me... "This work out really works!" The Parking: Plaza parking lot. Easy finding parking spots right in front of the studio.

First class!!

If you want to get in the best shape of your life, look no further than Pilates Plus. Although it was my first class, I feel safe in saying that this is only the beginning of a fitness journey to super strength and length! Let's just say I was already dripping sweat within the first two minutes. The class was conducted with a megareformer, which really took it to the next level with resistance and forced me to engage muscles that I clearly never used. Shiran was the instructor, and she was so amazing! Encouraging, gave modifications to make the exercises easier or more difficult, and helped me out when I was still getting the hang of it. Looking forward to attending another class!

First class was awesome!

Great workout. The 45 minutes flew by. It fell like 15 minutes. The owner is a doll. She's so sweet.

I loved her playlist and it had some great Latin spice to it to really add a great energy and vibe to the class. She did a great job of breaking down the exercises and explained well how to execute each one properly. She even walked around to ensure we were all doing it correctly and gave helpful adjustments when needed. The class consisted of students of all levels and was accessible to everyone. I myself haven't done Pilates in several months, so I loved how easy it was to jump back in! The studio consists of several reformers, all of which were in great condition. All the props you need are at each reformer, along with a chair in front, which we used for some of the exercises. The studio is conveniently located in downtown Burbank, with easy parking across the street at one of the free lots. It can get a bit parked up at night, but I always manage to find a spot when I'm in the area!

I took my FIRST ever Pilates class here with Cynthia as the instructor. I had a great experience, check in was easy, and I came 10 min early so I could get a quick crash course of the reformer that was going to be used in the class. Cynthia was mindful to ask if I had any pain, injuries, or anything else for her to keep in mind throughout the class. She made sure to come fix my posture and anyone else in the class to properly challenge ourselves safely. Classes are maybe up to 10 people MAX so you can be sure you'll be attended to. So far I've taken two classes and they have been full body workouts. I appreciate that they've started on time and leave me learning about my fitness level. I'll be coming back more! *Note- I used classpass*

I have been going to this studio for over 5 years. It began when I suffered a major hamstring…read moretear....and the doctors said at my age they would not operate. A doctor refereed me to a Pilates instructor to build up the specific muscles around the torn hamstring, which would keep me from compensating as I walked...which had begun causing a lot of pain. It worked, and as long as I keep those muscles strong, I have no pain due to that injury. In the last year I began to have hip issues. My x-rays and doctor indicated that it was arthritis, and that I probably had a hip replacement coming up. I had reached the point where I couldn't walk up hill or up stairs...or even long walks without a lot of pain. My Pilates instructor began to work on building those surrounding muscles and it has worked. I couldn't be more grateful. This studio has instructors who know what they are doing! Historically, I was not a gym person...I didn't like anything about going to a gym. But, with Pilates, I figured any exercise program that began with me lying down couldn't be all bad (ha, ha). I actually feel noticeably better after each session.

It does affect how you are able to perform some of the exercise exercises. Reason 2: The instructor did not ask if I had any injuries, which most instructors do. I was a couple minutes late, so maybe that's why she didn't ask. But seriously most instructors want to know if there's injuries or anything so clients don't hurt themselves.

I was greeted immediately when arriving by the friendly staff who ensured I knew where everything was. The studio is spacious and has a lovely layout with a large mirror in front and reformers well spaced out from one another. The class I took was small and intimate which allowed the instructor to both demonstrate the moves while going around to offer assistance and corrections as needed. The reformers were all new and in great condition and the studio was also bright and clean with cute decor. There were plenty of props available to use. The instructor was great at really describing how to get into each move and incorporated a variety of exercises and stretches to get a full body workout. There were also modifications available, if needed. Afterwards, I felt amazing. They have a small parking lot that's shared with a few other businesses but I was able to find some street parking right in front!

PILATES - I was referred to this place by a friend and neighbor who goes to PT in studio city. I…read morelike the fact that there are only four reformers here so the class is small. I should've paid attention to some of the red flags. They are very limited classes. Sometimes you logon in the class is canceled. I could not find anything on their website that tells you how long a class is good for or a package if you buy one, and how soon you have to cancel your reservation without penalty. I tried to call the Burbank location multiple times but never got a person to speak with. So I went ahead and bought one class. I scheduled that class for Saturday morning at 8:30. Showed up at 8:18. I buzzed the door to get in. The first 10 seconds was silence. A lady that was working there that buzzed me in was doing a private with someone else. She asked who I was there for because she was the only one there that day. I proceeded to tell her that I was signed up for the 830 class. She told me she was unaware of one. I then apologetically said oh let me look at my app to make sure I didn't get the day and time wrong. I opened up the app and the class is now marked is canceled. No notification in the app, no email, no phone call, nothing. Just canceled without warning. The lady offered no apology. Just told me they send notifications through the app (they didn't) I always find it quite frustrating that you penalize customers for not canceling within a certain time period but you don't give the same respect to your patrons. I sent an email on Saturday, and got a response on Tuesday that my request for the payment to be credited back to my account would be granted, along with an acknowledgment of the instructor not sending a message out in the app. The person also did offer an apology. It's a very poor way to do business. It was a horrible first impression and I will never go back here. I hope they use this to do better for future customers.

When I had my first knee injury I had Kaiser and though I liked my PT, I don't think I grasped the severity of my injury. Today, I am still afflicted by my previous injury (6 years ago) and the adjustments my body has made to compensate. What I like about Core Conditioning is that they look at your injury through assessing your entire body (system). Who knew my knee injury would create weak muscle groups in other (related) areas??? Well, they did! The program they have created for me has focused on a range of exercises that I can do at home, combined with more intense clinic work and massage. Other pros: - helpful staff - clean office/clinic - appointment reminder calls - Saturday appointments They also offer a range of classes, such as pilates (mat & reformer), that I may look into after my PT sessions have concluded.
