My family and I cannot begin to thank Helen Paul deeply enough for all that she has done for our mother. The two had already known each other for some time, and once we commissioned her and her services after seeing her work on behalf of others at the independent living community mom lived in at that time, Helen then worked for us for around two years. Mom very recently passed away, and from the beginning of their relationship right up through the end, Helen not only demonstrated consistent and constant care and professionalism, but innumerable times went far beyond any simply professional "call of duty" or obligation and blessed mom-- and us-- with great loving kindness, generosity, and advocacy. I think Helen was absolutely tireless in all she did for her, and at times when none of us kids, due to geographical and/or work constraints, could be with our mom and do the many things needing to be done in person, Helen was a wonderful surrogate for us, in a variety of ways.
In the practical realm, besides showing great personal care and empathy, and taking true interest in those she aids, she has necessary and crucial gifts for attention to detail and record-keeping, and therefore always seems to stay on top of everything; Helen is also very proactive in her regimen, an important asset. Additionally, one of her strongest fortes is her advocacy and oversight, ensuring those in the medical profession, for example, are always looking out for her charge's best interests.
Helen is certainly on top of her profession. Beyond that, however, she shows that one of her greatest assets, for her work and as a person, is the profound care and thoughtfulness she exhibits, never short-cutting on time or desire. My siblings as well can attest to these. We cannot recommend Helen Paul strongly enough, and hope others are as fortunate! read more
