The Bathroom was clean. I DO wish the utensils were in cups that didn't nearly force you to touch the eating end of them to get them out - because utensils are a must. Any proper Portuguese bakery must make fresh loaves of sweet bread. Yes, this bakery has the requisite homemade sweet bread (a note: growing up in Rhode Island, where there is a substantial Portuguese population, I had Portuguese sweet bread all the time--try it for French toast--but I have not yet tried Stoughton bakery's). And it has delicious custard tarts, and egg tarts, too. And they have Portuguese fried dough (it has a name in Portuguese, which I can't remember!) which is chewy and sugary, and has a gentle hint of lemon. Yum. It's on a side street very near the Stoughton MBTA station. It's a small and very clean place, with somewhat limited offerings, but everything I have had is the real deal. The woman who works there is a kind and gentle sort, and the prices are super affordable. I will note that it may be around a 3.5, but I rounded it up to 4 stars, as I was very happy to find this!
