Great bbq! Quick and friendly service. Cozy and clean dining area. I had the bbq nachos which is the Wednesday special. This basket of tortilla chips was covered in cheese sauce, pulled pork and bbq sauce. Yummy and messy goodness! My friend had a pulled pork plate with sides of baked beans and vinegar slaw. We shared a deviled egg appetizer. All was delicious. This is one of the best locally owned restaurants in Paris. If you are a visitor to Paris, this should be at the top of your "must do" list. read more

Solid west Tennessee Barbeque. The pork is nicely smoked and moist--you hardly need any sauce. Plus on the side you can add jalapeños, pickles, onions. A nice touch. It's fun that the smokers are doing their thing in the lot next to the restaurant. No doubt everything is freshly prepared. The sides are solid too. The collards were tasty not too salty nor overcooked. The cheesy potatoes are a real hint and the beans are way above average. Cornbread muffins could be crispier but they are better than most places. Some seating inside, more tables outside. Whether eat-in or takeaway service is friendly and prompt. read more

WHOA. I think this is really kinda really good food! The beef brisket had an outstanding flavor. It was just a tad bit dry but, sometimes, that's not a bad thing. We also had some chicken and it was amazing! Great flavor! The pork was delicious, too. What really caught me off guard was how good their sides are. A lot of places treat them as an afterthought. Perry's treats them as just as important as the main dish! The potato salad was delicious! They were out of creamy slaw, and I'm not a huge fan of vinegar slaw. But it was surprisingly tasty on my sandwich. I can't wait to try their other sides and their other dishes, too! AND, I really appreciated their friendly service. You'll read it's a simple place. It is. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful, including the woman in the kitchen who chatted with us as she handed our to go food to us. We hadn't planned on eating there, but if we had decided to it was comfortable and clean. What you should really know is the pulled pork was amazing. Not greasy, extremely minimal fat, terrific flavor. The potato salad was perfect. The corn bread was that blend of sweet and savory. What really put it over the top for me was the vinegar slaw. Where we are in Illinois, vinegar slaw is something you only get at your grandma's. I was so thrilled to find it on the menu. We ended up with some of that pulled pork left over, and it traveled well in the cooler. Try the mild sauce - it worked for me. Would definitely recommend! read more

May be the worst I have had. I have been a couple different times with people who "wanted something different". The ribs were old and dried hard in the oven. I could barely rip them apart. It was so hard I couldn't eat half of them. The brisket was fatty and cooked like a roast. The bbq was meh. Not Smokey. I have mostly had the Camden bbq which isn't even listed. This was a gem of a place! Their potato salad was the best I've ever tasted! It was a true family recipe with bacon, potatoes, onions and pepper flakes and I don't know what else. It went perfectly with their sweet slaw BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Location was ideal, on the main road in Paris TN. It would be a long drive from Colrado to back here, so I'm glad that it was such a memorable meal. read more

We just had the pleasure of Perry's catering our wedding a couple weeks ago. We requested their food truck with the smoker attached to give our CA family and friends the full backyard southern bbq experience and they did not disappoint! Love love love! This California native lover her some BBQ! Small little BBQ spot but don't let that fool you! Great food and customer service! I recommend the BBQ plate with the vinegar slaw (My ABSOLUTE favorite) and baked beans. The BBQ sandwich is also my go to! Not bad for a bbq place, just wish they had more parking in front (only like 3 angled spots). We ordered some brisket for Thanksgiving, and it was tender and cooked to perfection. My only complaints were that it wasn't ready for the time we ordered it (about 20 minutes late), and it was an incredibly fatty cut, so we cut off at least 1-1.5 lbs of fat before eating it, which basically means we paid for stuff we couldn't eat. I'm not a huge meat cut connoiseur though, so that could just come with the territory, but it would have been nice for it to have been trimmed a little better first? Since my only experience with them was for a to-go party order, I will definitely be back to try some of their actual BBQ that everyone keeps raving about! read more

Wowser!!! This is the real deal for BBQ. Very very good flavor. Delicious sides!! Homemade cobbler and cakes to die for. We both had the pulled pork and it was perfection! The sit down restaurant is exactly what it says cafeteria style Food & Dining I like thick sauces and like for my bbq ribs to be cooked in the sauce I am not used to to bbq sauce on the side, the greenbeans were too done and flavorless, the macaroni & cheese there was a couple things missing it didn't taste good.
