I usually do not write reviews, but I had to for this…read more Cindy gave me some of the best highlights I have ever had in my life. From the moment I sat down, I could tell she really knows what she is doing. She has such a strong eye for color and placement, and everything felt very intentional. The highlights came out so natural and bright, with a really soft blend. Nothing looked harsh or overdone. It just looks effortless and polished, like that perfect sunlit color you hope for but rarely get. She also really listens and understands what you want, then somehow makes it even better. I felt completely taken care of the entire time. I walked out feeling so confident and put together, which is not something every salon can do. If you are looking for beautiful, high quality highlights, Cindy is truly amazing. I will definitely be coming back. Vibe was beautiful.

0/10 I wanted to…read moreshare my experience so others can make an informed decision. I first tried booking online, but the website wouldn't let me schedule an appointment for a Saturday. I called the salon instead and spoke with someone at the front desk. The interaction felt awkward and difficult--whether it was a communication issue or a language barrier, the process was not smooth. We eventually handled everything over text. I sent a video showing the exact hairstyle I wanted and was told they could recreate it. Throughout this process, I was repeatedly pushed to add services like manicures, pedicures, and hair coloring, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the same person I had spoken with earlier. The check-in was technically fine, but the atmosphere felt cold and mechanical rather than welcoming. I was then assigned to a stylist. Almost immediately, I realized they were working from a different reference video and a different hairstyle than the one I had sent. No one showed it to me or asked for my approval--they just started working. They didn't ask if my hair was clean or prep it properly (no conditioning or sleeking), which resulted in many visible flyaways and a rougher look. Both the salom owner and the stylist were working on my hair at the same time, openly arguing about how to do the style and essentially experimenting on me. I was even told that neither of them really specializes in updos, but they wanted to "try" this one. After several attempts and continued back-and-forth between them, I finally had to intervene and say that I only wanted one person working on my hair. That moment was deeply uncomfortable. The owner looked at me aggressively, pinched my arm twice, and said, "Okay, I understand, okay, I understand." She then gathered all the products she had brought--various holding sprays and texture sprays--and removed them so the stylist couldn't use them. Later, she brought them back selectively, maintaining control from the sidelines. It felt tense, unprofessional, and invasive. Although the stylist continued, the owner kept hovering and interjecting. At no point did anyone ask for my feedback--no "Do you like this?" or "Is this what you wanted?" They simply continued in their own direction. The final result looked like a bunch of hair pinned at the back of my head. I paid and left, but once I got home, I took it all out because I truly didn't like it. It didn't make me feel confident, and that's the whole point of getting your hair done. Overall, I felt unheard, uncomfortable, and treated more like a transaction than a client. The experience lacked communication, professionalism, and care. The owner either needs to trust her stylists to do their jobs or become properly trained herself. As it stands, the environment feels chaotic and controlling, and it's not a place I would return to or recommend ever. Price was $120 just for the updo.

Aveda take me away!! Love, love, love this place!…read more Had a rough day & need a pick me up? Want a new look? Maybe just a trim? Or maybe you just want to inhale the herbal goodness of Aveda? Whatever your need Lisa P. and the ladies at a Salon Madeline can make it happen! I have always been a huge fan of Aveda products and was really happy to have found this gem. Lisa is wonderful and the salon is so comfortable and clean. Everyone is friendly, fun, and talented. Walking in the door and inhaling deeply just helps you to relax right from the beginning.

I have been very underwhelmed by the Aveda salons in the area, until I found Marissa at this salon…read more she did a great job with my roots, adding new highlights and doing a cut. I had been pleased with my cut, until she mentioned the different areas where the cut was not done properly. Who knew?! I am seeing her again on 11/21. it's amazing how well my color has lasted. Of course, I use only Aveda products, so that definitely helps. 12/7/23 UPDATE 1* - unfortunately Marissa was unavailable on 11/21, so I was offered another stylist, Robin. OMG, my blondish/auburnish hair was so ghastly ashy and dark brown. 2 toners later, my crying, my hair looking like shite, the salon threw in a botanical treatment gratis to use at my redo. Drove the 45 min to get down there, my hair still doesn't look good. It's so dark. Even my nail tech commented, unsolicited - 'it too dark for you'. While I was processing, Robin came to me with prices written on a card - she was 'suggesting these prices because she put aside 2.5 hours to redo my hair'!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Her proposal was $100 for halo foils, $35 for botanical treatment and $25 for blow dry!!! Remember, I paid over $200 + tip initially. $35 was waived by salon, and $25 for blow dry? How does one tell anything with wet hair? While I was waiting to check out, Robin kept standing next to me, finally asked which of the prices was I choosing?!!! I'm standing there with my CC in my hand to tip her for her time. I was NOT going to be held hostage to her extortionate pricing and nicely said none of them. Before I could say but I will tip you for your time, she 'fired' me!! Told me if that is the case, she doesn't want to do my hair anymore. I was beyond pis@ed at this point. Not only did I have to waste 3 hrs the first time, then another 3 hrs at the re-do,but then this stylist is trying to play me? Sucks to be her - she lost out on a tip. The salon lost out on a client and my quest continues to find a decent Aveda salon in FL - though it's looking easier to just go back home to ATL at this point!!
