I made an appointment at the end of July. I arrived early, and there's a sign at the door asking customers to text a number when they arrive. They will text back when the tech is ready. I went back to my car for a few minutes until I received a text. The beauty bar is salon is pretty big and sectioned by different services. For example, the hair salon is on one side and has a different entrance. The brow bar's entrance is behind the building. The space is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Eden introduced herself and took me to her room. She went over the process before getting started. I don't have any tattoos, so I was terrified to say the least, but Eden was very patient. She helped calm my nerves and assure me that it will be virtually painless. And it was! She used a numbing cream and I barely felt anything. The process took a little over an over and I am SO happy with my brows! I couldn't stop looking in the mirror. I went back a couple months later for my touch up and asked Eden to add blending. She had originally suggested it at my first appointment, but I thought I just wanted microblading. She was right and I should have listened in the first place. I am so grateful for Eden for giving the brows I've always wanted! Splendid Beauty Bar is over an hour away from me and totally worth the drive.

I have gone for 5 of 6 treatments with little success despite being a good candidate for this treatment and following her guidelines to a tee. I was offered, for an additional fee, a guarantee. Really? I can't just get the service I am already paying for. I felt like as a Groupon client, I was not treated the same as other clients, with the complaints regarding Groupon, fewer appt hours available, and, possibly, less service. I would have been interested in other services had this worked for me, but who needs all the griping?

The consultation was professional and informative. It was comforting because Tika was well versed…read morein her knowledge and able to address all of my concerns or questions without hesitation. The visit of the establishment was good. The lobby and office areas were clean, well maintained, and inviting. The service was awesome. Tika was on time, calming, gentle, and courteous. You have to complete paper work about your health history but that is a expected. Tika predraws your brows and gets mapping before any ink is applied. It allows her to have an outline to show you for your approval before she starts the process. The process does not hurt; it is more like an irritation. Tika did use lidocaine but it takes a while to really kick in. The pricing for my first visit is agreeable. A deposit is required after the consultation, but it is feasible. The remaining balance is due upon completion of services in the first visit. I do wish the 6 week follow-up for my touch up was included in the first payment and not an additional charge. It is a stand alone additional charge that I was informed of during the consultation. I just wish I did not have to pay it. However, it is worth mentioning that in my research and comparison, others that are lower in cost, have an increase in unhappy customers and the services were subpar. Once I was in Tika's chair she explained to me step by step what she was doing and she asked questions to get an idea of how I wanted my eyebrows to look.
