I wanted full bangs, cut from closer to the crown, that came just to my brows (as in the 2 photos). The first appt., I came home with super straight, flat cut, bangs, and the sides were wavy, so basically, i had a mullet. The bang length was OK, but they needed some "dusting" or whatever the current name is, from underneath to give them some lift. I called and came in 2 days l8r for a 2nd try. I'm pretty sure I made myself clear that they just needed a little lift. So, I came in, got settled, heard "snip, snip", looked down and said "that's a LOT of hair". I said it was OK and left. The scarring on my forehead shows so badly from the precancer treatment I'd just had, that I avoided going out the next week. (The photo above, remember, is with 3 wks growth.) I am not sure what happened here but, I gave it MY best shot. I even brought dark chocolate. Oh, well, the #StylistSearch continues.

Out of all the places in Sarnia, it is the only place where you don't feel like you're just a product on a conveyor belt (moving from one technician to the next in record time). If you would rather go to a place where you have no friendly chats with the people there, then don't go to Chanails! The lady there is very relatable and loves to talk to her clients. My nail job every time has been amazing (not bulky and wide like the other places), eyebrow wax job was great. Would highly recommend!

I just moved to the area, so this was my first visit to Chanails to have a solar nail fill. My…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing. They had a poor and limited selection of colors, and the procedure used to fill my nails was rushed and improper. I have had solar nails for several years, so I'm very familiar with the procedure. What was performed by the technician at Chanails didn't even come close. The result was a poor quality nail with unfinished rough edges and jagged curve where the white meets the natural part of the nail. Upon expressing my dissatisfaction, the technician simply tried to "re-do" a few of the nails I pointed out, making the matter worse. My finishing top coat was thin and bubbled, and I now have rough, uneven feeling nails. No effort was made to improve my experience. Now I will have to go somewhere else and pay to have my nails completely redone. What a waste of time and money!
