This was my first pedicure by Jasmine at Posh Pedicure Lounge…read more IG: @refined.by.jasmine She did a fantastic job on my cuticles, cut my nails exactly how I told her I prefer. Addressed my summer heels, and used some lovely scrub and lotion on my legs, ankles, heels and feet. Jasmine had a lovely, quiet energy about her and is very respectful in terms of space and comfort. Would definitely recommend Jasmine for nail art as well. I have seen some of her specialty work on my work colleague who has beautiful nails and recommended Jasmine to me. Excellent experience and would definitely return and recommend Jasmine.

Posh Pedicure Lounge shares the space with a hair salon, a boutique, as well as an RMT service, and overall, the services provided in this space are quite comprehensive! I was very impressed by the Shellac Manicure service provided by Penny today, and the overall experience. The pink/black theme of the salon is quite cute, and they offer a broad range of services from mani/pedis, to waxing, tinting, massages, facials, and even parties! The only reason that I did not give it a 5/5 is that I experienced the dreaded shellac 'shrinking.' Although the shellac manicure turned out well, several of my nails experienced the shrinking phenomenon where the edges fade out, and it looks like the manicure has chipped (right after application). It hasn't even been 12 hours since application, and I'm dreading that it won't last past a week.... That being said, I would definitely return to the salon again!

Bonus coupon of $15 off the next service when you spend $60 in the current month. Both coupons are subject to expiry dates. All well and good, but how do they measure up on the promptness piece? Take a gander up there at those five glowing stars above this review. I show respect for salon workers by arriving on time. I expect to be shown the same courtesy because my time is also valuable. Don't accept my booking then make me stand around for ten or thirty minutes, leaving me to stew and glare. If I didn't care about having to wait then I wouldn't have made an appointment. Salon time is supposed to be relaxing time; I am most definitely not relaxed whilst waiting well after the appointed hour. Smooth runs on time. That's how you earn the fifth star. Pleasant, professional staff. Parking would be nice, but it's a minor quibble. What services did I have? A lady never tells...

When I got home, I could see that there was not enough blonde ; so I called the next day to book an appt. to have more blonde put in. I was told that there would be no additional cost if I had the same person do the added colour. I couldn't get in until the following week, with the same colourist, and had the blonde added in. When I was getting ready to leave the salon, the staff member said that they were only charging me for the highlights which was $90 + tip!!! I was so taken off guard that I paid and left the salon. The next day, I called to speak with the owner of the salon. I explained the situation to her in regard to the additional charges. She stated that I was told that there would be an additional charge; which I definitely was NOT told until after the work was completed. She said that she would talk to the colourist and call me back. It's now been 5 days, with no callback from the owner. This was not the type of customer service I would expect from this salon or any business!

I've been going here for years, but I'm done now…read more I'd earned my $25 reward that you get after so many visits. Went to pay and they wouldn't honour my reward because I was paying with gift cards I bought at Costco. What am I saving on the gift cards if I have to give up my hard earned reward to use them? Nothing. Then they took away my manicure discount that was advertised, again because I was paying with gift cards. I told the girl I was unimpressed, but she continued on. Oh, then she didn't stamp my rewards card for this visit, even though she said she would. Just overall shady service. Individual estheticians are great, but as someone else said, the spa itself has immoral business practices.

The following week, we went to get a massage. Our eyes just bulged at the prices really. Maybe I've been spoiled, but it's hard for me to justify paying $155 for a 75 minute massage for two. We sucked it up though, because I thought, hmm, with how much they charge you, they must do a magnificent job right? Right? WRONG! They asked me how hard they wanted to massage me and I said medium. The girl just rubbed my body for a little over and hour. Not massage, just rub it, like you would rub a childs back when you try to comfort them, When I asked for a little bit more pressure, I got none. When it was done, I asked boyfriend how his massage was, and he hated it too. We especially hated how much we had to pay for it. What a freaken rip off. Don't go here, don't support this place, they have no right to sell massage packages when they clearly don't have any idea what a massage is. And while I love Costco, shame on them for even selling Artistic's gift cards. I honestly think this entire place is a scam

I wanted to give a better review to this spa as I have been to Spa Asiana before to get my eyebrows…read morethreaded and found they did a great job. So when I saw they did pedicures (and I get them every 6 weeks generally) and had a spot open on Saturday, I booked it! The online booking is easy to use which is great. Once I actually got to the salon however things did not go so well. There was no friendly welcome and instead an awkward smile with no real greeting. Once I stated why I was there, they got the chair ready for me and I got to pick my colour. Whenever I've gone to a Spa and paid more then 35 dollars for a pedicure, I've always been offered refreshments so I found it a little odd when this spa did not, however that is not a reason I would give them a lower review. As the pedicure continues things got a bit worse. When my feet were being scrubbed, I found that the esthetician went too hard and I wasn't able to put pressure on my heels making it difficult to walk. I've never had a lot of dead skin on the heels of my feet so I was surprised she was going harder on it but I figured they can see me more then myself. However I was wrong as I was in a lot of pain after trying to walk the rest of the day and I have a fairly high pain tolerance. There were also one of the workers kids there. Normally I do not have a problem with kids being in a spa especially as I understand child care can be difficult to find or things come up. But once again as the pedicure continued, it got less enjoyable. The kids were running around and making lots of noise, which normally I wouldn't be bothered by but when I'm paying 50 dollars plus tip for a pedicure, it should be relaxing. The child also started to bother the esthetician working on me (who I think may have been her mother) which made it hard to not mess up on my pedicure and really pay attention to what she was doing. I felt her time was being wasted with me there and she should really be paying attention to the child. The child later also lost the colour of polish that I was to have (it was later found but I had already decided on a different colour). Once again just making things a bit more difficult and making me feel as though I should have not come in. I'd like to state that I was the only person in the salon at that time. Once the esthetician removed my toe separators she screwed up the big toe. So she tried to redo it a couple of times but it didn't turn out okay at all. At this point, I didn't want to say anything as she tried a few times and I really felt they were trying to rush through me so they could close and leave. I am unfortunately disappointed at the outcome especially as 50 dollars plus tip is a lot to spend on a pedicure that was already ruined before I left the spa. I do not think I would recommend this Spa for pedicures.
