I had microblading done for the first time. I was so nervous to get it done and hoped I was choosing the right place. My eyebrows look absolutely amazing....Deneen is a professional, confident perfectionist and could not have done a better job!!! They look absolutely perfect, natural and the shape is amazing!!! I over plucked in my youth and as a result had very little eyebrow hairs left. This has totally changed my look for the better and I couldn't be happier!!!! Deneen and her front staff need a serious crash course in how to speak maturely, professionally, politely and calmly when dealing with customer concerns. Any time you have an appointment with her she will keep you waiting 45 minutes to an hour past your scheduled appointment. Her time is clearly more valuable than yours. It has happened every time I have made an appointment with her; she is so behind, it's absolutely ridiculous. She's busy tee heeing and chatting away with her current client, ignoring the fact that you're waiting patiently in the waiting area, well past YOUR scheduled appointment time, and she will cancel on you at the last minute and expect you to work with her schedule because she's so behind, but when you need to cancel, it's a different story. Her and her front staff talk over top of you and won't let you explain the issue and act very immaturely and then will try to charge you a cancellation fee, even when AMPLE notice is given. I don't charge her for cancelling on me at the last minute or leaving me waiting for ages past my appointment time. This has happened EVERY single time I've ever had my lashes done with her and because of this she no longer gets my business. Several others that I know that have used her services also experienced the same problems, long wait times and last minute cancellations, and they too have opted to go elsewhere, so it's not just me. If Deneen wishes to run a successful, long standing business, I would suggest she learn time management skills and how to speak to people politely and professionally. I wouldn't recommend her business to anyone based on her lack of professionalism. Unless you are ok with being on her time clock and are ok waiting ages for your scheduled appointment, and listening to her talk about herself constantly, then I would have your lashes done elsewhere; they are a dime a dozen nowadays anyway. read more

I ran across this as I was looking up reviews for nail salons and came across Lash Queen. It got me thinking about how I rely so much on reviews and yet I never take the time to write them. That is not ok. So running into Lash Queen brought me back to this past April when I went there to get my lashes done. So I have decided to write my review. Firstly please know even though I am particular I am pretty easy to please and loyal as anything when I get a good job. I don't expect to ever have special treatment just a good job. I will tolerate alot of things waiting, price. Just give me a good outcome in a clean environment. So here we go. I had heard of lash Queen through someone I know who goes there and has been for a while. I decided to give it a try even though cost wise it is very expensive compared to others. Again ok just please a good job. I tried to get in once and the first appointment was like 6 weeks. So couldn't book at that time. Next for my trip this past April tried again but booked very early so I could get in. This trip was a big deal and I was very excited about getting them done. We where meeting a few friends on our vacation and the ladys where all getting theirs done. So naturally I wanted to have the same. I had done alot of research on lashes and new it should take about 2 hours. My appointment was for a Saturday morning at 9 am. I don't live to far from the salon and I was pulling back into my driveway at just before 10 am. You can do all the research in the world with experts and you will always see 1 1/2 to 2 hrs is what it should take. I had a couple of lashes on my shirt when I got home and it looked like both eyes where not similar and the lashes where very sparse and there where some lashes that where attached to the skin. Before I left I had not looked well at them and rebooked for 2 weeks. When I got in the mirror at home I was horrified at how bad they looked that I took pictures. Sadly because this was so long ago now I had deleted them and I regret it now that I am writing this review. I left there paying alot of money and ended up going to a different place to have them removed 4 days later. I was going to have them reapplied in this different salon and she recommended I don't because my lashes where a mess. So I left there and went to Shoppers and purchased lash growing solution and fibre lashes. Out of courtesy I left a message on the phone at Lash Queen that I wanted to cancel my next appointment because my lashes did not work out. Well the next day I recieved a call with her saying it could not be she does not glue lashes to skin. And when I mentioned speed she said that it is because she does so many. She was not very friendly. I was not expecting anything as that is not my nature. Because I was a referral I think she did want to do something so she offered to give me a few products and I declined as I really did not want to have to go get them. So she said she would put them in the mail. I agreed and gave her my address. To this day the products have never come and my vacation, well my lashes where a mess. At night I used a whole lot of mascara but they where extremely short. And my friends that where there theirs where awesome. Lol price of theirs they said $75.00. How could that be? read more

I've had lashes on and off for a few years and was looking for someone close to where I have moved to. I tried out Lash Queen and had a great experience. I was able to get an appointment within a day (and got a speedy response to my after hours e-mail to them) which I really appreciated because I was heading out of the country in a few days. The technician that did my lashes did a great job and was the fastest person that has ever done my lashes. I have a lot of natural lashes and she did a full set in about 90 minutes. They look great and so far I'm very happy with them. I'm hoping they last longer than my previous set did which fell off very rapidly (done at a different place.) I'll come back on here in a few weeks to update this with how well the lashes lasted. The atmosphere at Lash Queen is chique and girly and clean and I found all of the staff to be very friendly. I gave them 4 stars out of 5 instead of 5, because their services are pricey as compared to others. I'll definitely recommend them to others. [NOTE - the lashes held on really well and still looked great two weeks in. After that they started falling off fairly rapidly which is pretty normal. I came on here to sing Deneen's praises and I am really thankful that I did, as it caused me to read the other review posted here -- a review I find a tad confusing and not at all representative of my own personal and ongoing experiences with Lash Queen. I have had lash extensions for going on two years now. I originally decided to get them as a special treat for myself when I was chosen to stand as a bridesmaid for a wedding. I did my research and asked around -- eventually deciding upon Lash Queen. Regardless of the stellar things I had heard, my original plan was honestly to get extensions for that special occasion and then maybe fill them a few times afterwards (if I found that I liked them), eventually going back to my natural lashes. I had an amazing first experience at Lash Queen and have experienced nothing but amazing, informative and honest service every two weeks for the past two years. So much for my original plan! I loved my lashes so much that I just never stopped going! I remember back to the day of the wedding and the makeup artist commenting upon how out of all the girls in the wedding party, my lashes were the best applied and suited my eye shape perfectly. She asked who had done them and upon hearing my response had nothing but positive things to say about Deneen and her business. Deneen has been nothing but welcoming, honest, informative and skilled throughout my two years as a Lash Queen client. She is proud of her business and wholeheartedly believes in what she does. I know through speaking with her that she remains current and on-trend in reference to her craft. In other words, she makes an ongoing commitment to ensuring that she invests in the future of her business and to remaining current in her career as a lash technician. Personally, I know that Deneen would never let a client leave Lash Queen if they weren't 100% satisfied. I have always trusted her judgment and have never questioned her choices when it comes to applying my lashes. I am positive that she would never tell me something looked good if she didn't personally believe that it did. I wish nothing but sincere luck to Deneen in the future. I don't really think that she needs it though -- her growing and expanding business as well as her innumerable loyal clients attest to the fact that she is truly one of the best around. Do not hesitate to book an appointment at Lash Queen. You will not be disappointed! You will be a returning client. I'm a regular in to get my lash extensions every three weeks. I will never go back to mascara. Very happy with my lashes every time I see Deneen. She beautifully shapes them to a "cat eye" shape for a me, and for big events I may add in a couple volume lashes for extra pop. I used to go to lash queen all the time. But since it is so difficult to get in there I decided to go elsewhere. The person I went to was absolutely amazing she had every single/length, lash curl and knew all the new techniques including 2-D and 3-D volume lashes . It took her 2 1/2 hours to put on a full set and she literally wore two types of magnifying glasses to get at each lash. It was amazing they lasted three weeks and even then they still looked good. I needed to get a fill and she was away onvacation, so I decided to go to lash queen. My appointment was for 1230 I got in at 12:40 and was done by 1 PM. They barely lasted a week. Not to mention when I was there she was texting on her phone while I was talking to her she wasn't interested in what I had to say which I thought was rude. So I have been with my new person for three years and my fills usually take an hour and a half to two hours. And they look like I have a whole new set on after each fill. I believe lash queen rushes through her work so she can fit as many people in as possible there is no way you can do a fill in 20 minutes I don't care how good you are. And my girl is amazing and she always takes at least an hour and a half. I have been to m many lash places in London and lash queen does not put the effort into it it's all about making the money. Trust me you can't get fills in 20 minutes if they're doing a good job. Those of you that go there take a look at how long your lashes actually last. Buy my third week with my girl my lashes still look good and many are still on. Not only is the work that lash queen does not worth the price but when you are texting on your phone while you're with a client that's just not good business sense.
