However, the office did not properly verify the insurance information and benefits before the appointment, and a $145 balance was later assigned to us. I discovered the balance through the Delta Dental PPO portal in mid-September and received a written notice in the mail in late September. I had already contacted the office to explain that I was disputing the balance and that a grievance with Delta Dental was pending. I called again to provide an update regarding the grievance and discuss the situation. During that call, I found Genesis's communication to be rude and unprofessional. Rather than working with us while the insurance matter was under review, Genesis stated that if we did not pay the $145 that same day, the balance would be sent to collections. I found this response intimidating and inappropriate, particularly because the grievance remains pending and the balance resulted from the office's failure to properly verify our insurance and clearly communicate our expected financial responsibility before the appointment. Patients should be able to rely on a dental office to accurately verify insurance benefits and clearly explain any expected out-of-pocket costs before services are provided. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office to my family or friends. Future patients should be aware of our experience and look for a reliable dental office.

His expertise was evident, but what stood out even more was the genuine care he showed my son. He has a wonderful way of making both kids and parents feel comfortable and confident throughout the process. Dr. Crum also brought in Dr. Stafford, the dentist anesthesiologist, who was equally outstanding. He met with my son and me a few days before the procedure to walk us through exactly what to expect when "going to sleep." His calm, reassuring approach helped ease any nerves, and on the day of the procedure, everything went exactly as he had described (but even easier, it seemed like!). The entire team at FACES was incredible. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely personable, making the experience seamless from start to finish. The office itself is modern, spotless, and welcoming, creating an environment that immediately puts you at ease. When your child needs oral surgery, it can be an overwhelming experience. The office and doctor was thorough enough to even type and print out custom post op instructions for me. The assistants and front desk receptionist (Diana) were also amazing. All super nice people that seem like they enjoy working there. Diana was very flexible in scheduling my extraction appointment and helpful in checking on my dental insurance. The assistants were also all accommodating. As someone that was initially nervous when looking for an oral surgeon to extract my wisdom teeth since there were so many options, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place to everybody.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a friendly receptionist, and here's the surprising part--you aren't left sitting in the waiting room forever. Within moments of arriving, you're usually brought back to a treatment room. The entire team treats patients with kindness and professionalism, and Dr. Tchon himself is honest, straightforward, and easy to talk to. He explains things clearly without making you feel rushed or pressured. I'll be honest--I actually look forward to my visits here, which is not something I ever thought I'd say about a dental office. As for my implant surgery, it's still a work in progress, so I can't give a final review on the outcome just yet. Once confirmed. I told the receptionist about the urgency of my situation, and I was scheduled ASAP. On the day of my appointment, I received a call from the doctor's office asking if I could come in earlier. I did, but I completed the digital intake forms they sent before arriving. I was glad to complete the forms at my own pace at home. Plenty of parking was on site, and the atmosphere was clean, bright, upbeat, and open. I provided the receptionist with my dental referral information. One of the first things I notice is the state-of-the-art equipment. They could have me stand at a machine that scanned my face, and within moments, they had an x-ray of my mouth on the display. Dr. Samuel introduced himself and assessed the situation. I asked if he would be able to do the extraction that day. Dr. Samuel responded, "That's why I called you in earlier so that, if possible, we could do the extraction today." I was all in. So Dr. Samuel prepared me by telling me what to expect and explained a procedure he uses to promote rapid healing. The only drawback for me was the cost of the procedure and that it involved drawing some blood from me. That was the first drawing of blood at the dentist. We came to an agreement that included the Dr. providing a 200-dollar discount. I am happy with the excellent service from Dr. Samuel and his entire staff. One suggestion: pipe some soothing healing vibration music in the surgery room. I highly recommend Dr. Samuel and the TorriMed Oral Surgery and Dental Implants office. I will be back again. I had a very sweet and caring Nurse, "G" When she did a very human and sympathetic action. She softly and in-no-way unprofessional, touched my face and gently kept saying it would be okay until the anti-anxiety medicine was given and eventually I was put under. Afterwards, she was there to help me walk and get my bearings again. She didnt rush me. She made sure I was coming out of the sedation fog and didnt push it. "G" If u somehow read this, thank you so much! You get the Star for this place. I'm sorry for the things you probably endure each day there. Getting back to basics, I was concerned about the lack of PPE's (Personal Protective Gear) as there was limited to none. Just FYI as that's standard practice. Will be checking with BBB on that... Further, Dr. Otto-whatever never stopped to see me in recovery, nor did he call or text to check and see how I was doing. None of his staff either! I never saw or heard from him again. From the say prior in consultation, he is smug and brash, acting like he knows everything and his patients are all idiots and things like my genuine concerns aren't important to him. I couldn't have had a better experience with the IPI team! PRO's -Dr. Lo is incredibly good at his job! In addition, he's very empathetic, has excellent communication skills and is just an overall great person. -IPI's staff is amazing! Extremely friendly, helpful and supportive. -The office is next level! I'm talkin state of the art technology! They have an x-ray machine that looks like something video game or movie companies use. Very cool and made me feel even better about being an IPI patient. Also, the office is very easy to find & has tons of parking. -Scheduling reminders via text & email are fantastic. The IPI staff is ON IT and makes it easy for patients on so many levels. CON's -None! Go to IPI! You will be extremely impressed!
