Though his bed-side-manner is not very good, the staff is extremely helpful and caring. Robert is by far one of kindness employee he has.

It was so frustrating. Everyone told me to wait, but the bump wasn't going away and looked gross. When I finally got in to see Dr. Yagoubian, it felt like such a relief. He saw me quickly, explained everything in a really calm, reassuring way, and removed the mucocele that same day. He then sent it to pathology and thankfully it came back benign. That peace of mind alone was worth everything. Recovery was a bit tougher than I expected, and right after the procedure I panicked thinking it was still there--but it was just swelling and bruising. Within about a week and a half, I was almost completely back to normal. His staff was honestly amazing. They were so kind, patient with my million questions, they provided clear instructions in what to do, eat and what not. If you're dealing with a stubborn lip bump and feeling stressed or confused (like I was), I really recommend seeing Dr. Yagoubian. Thank you!

I was referred to Dr. Yagoubian for a tooth extraction, bone graft and membrane. I paid a $200 consultation fee upfront which I felt should have been applied toward my procedure as standard business practice. After scheduling my procedure I decided to call my insurance Concordia myself to verify my coverage. Here is what I found: Extraction D7210 covered at 80% Bone Graft D7953 covered at 0% Membrane D7956 covered at 0% Concordia also confirmed that this office had never submitted a predetermination on my behalf. My total out of pocket for just ONE tooth extraction with bone graft and membrane was quoted at $1,900. When I factored in that I need 4 implants eventually the numbers became completely unmanageable. I also came across multiple Yelp reviews from other patients describing the exact same experience, surprise bills, no predetermination submitted and feeling misled about costs. Dr. Yagoubian is clearly a skilled and highly trained surgeon and I have no doubt about the quality of his work. However the billing and administrative practices of this office are a serious concern and patients deserve full transparency before agreeing to any procedure. My advice to anyone considering this office: Call your insurance yourself before your appointment Request a predetermination before scheduling any procedure Get all costs in writing before agreeing to anything Ask specifically what is and is not covered by your insurance I am grateful I did my research before going through with the procedure. Please do yours too.

Their office was also cluttered and dingy. It didn't feel right. So I called around to different offices to ask and compare prices. I am so happy to have found Dr. Oseas office. It was clean and organized. Receptionists were friendly and communicative. Since I was comparing costs, I asked and they were very transparent both about the evaluation cost and treatment costs after the evaluation. I ended up switching to Dr.Oseas and glad we did! I felt assured he would do a good job throughout the process and he did. Definitely recommend.

I had a procedure in March of 2025. I did not get a bill and had paid my portion of the bill based on the estimate. I received a phone in January of 2026 that my dental insurance was not paying. I had to make several calls in February 2026 to Medicare (who Dr. Oseas is not a provider for) and my dental insurance. The bill was paid in March 2026 by my dental insurance. They had not received any requests for payment until November of 2025. Today I received a bill for a very small amount with a note that my "Balance is overdue! Action my be taken by a collection agency". Wow, is all I can say..... I am certain they would not have gotten paid unless I did all the leg work. I am not going back to this office.

I received a VIP experience at TorriMed, from scheduling my appointment to the needed extraction…read more One of my most significant concerns with the service at TorriMed is if they are in my Guardian network. Once confirmed. I told the receptionist about the urgency of my situation, and I was scheduled ASAP. On the day of my appointment, I received a call from the doctor's office asking if I could come in earlier. I did, but I completed the digital intake forms they sent before arriving. I was glad to complete the forms at my own pace at home. Plenty of parking was on site, and the atmosphere was clean, bright, upbeat, and open. I provided the receptionist with my dental referral information. One of the first things I notice is the state-of-the-art equipment. They could have me stand at a machine that scanned my face, and within moments, they had an x-ray of my mouth on the display. Dr. Samuel introduced himself and assessed the situation. I asked if he would be able to do the extraction that day. Dr. Samuel responded, "That's why I called you in earlier so that, if possible, we could do the extraction today." I was all in. So Dr. Samuel prepared me by telling me what to expect and explained a procedure he uses to promote rapid healing. The only drawback for me was the cost of the procedure and that it involved drawing some blood from me. That was the first drawing of blood at the dentist. We came to an agreement that included the Dr. providing a 200-dollar discount. I am happy with the excellent service from Dr. Samuel and his entire staff. One suggestion: pipe some soothing healing vibration music in the surgery room. I highly recommend Dr. Samuel and the TorriMed Oral Surgery and Dental Implants office. I will be back again. When you go, tell them Omar sent you.

I didn't see many reviews for Dr. Kyle Yamamoto, the other resident oral surgeon and had him…read morerecently. All I can say is -- exceptional. I had wisdom teeth that I didn't get extracted at a younger age due to financial constraints. It was a difficult extraction and we suspected I might have some sinus complications going in. Part of my tooth fractured and I had to come back for a followup to get it removed. I was pretty nervous, but Dr. Yamamoto spent a lot of time describing the procedures and making sure I was comfortable. I had remarkably no pain following either with his instructions and recommendations. Also, the staff were very nice and heartwarming (also fellow bruins!). If you come here and need oral surgery, you can't go wrong with either surgeon. Thank you so much Dr. Yamamoto!! You rock!!

If you have any anxiety about medical procedures, I suggest seeking a consult with any of the other…read moreoral surgeons in the South Bay that have substantially better reviews and do not resort to teasing a patient for their concerns. For context, my son had to have a tooth removed when he was 7 years old with Dr. Kawahara because he was too anxious to have it done with his pediatric dentist. Now almost 10 years later, we saw Dr Kawahara for a consult on removal for his impacted wisdom teeth. Upon seeing Dr. Kawahara years later and discussing how it had been a while, he teased my son about how he remembers my son crying and screaming before....which in reality my son didn't do in his office - since he had been prescribed anti-anxiety medicine beforehand for the minor procedure. (I think this comment was meant as a joke, but Dr. Kawahara's delivery is very dry; regardless we shrugged it off as a bad attempt at humor and a weird way to attempt to reestablish trust with a patient.) As we began discussing the surgery process for wisdom teeth removal, I shared that our son is slightly anxious about the surgery after hearing friends talk about their experience. With dry humor, Dr. Kawahara teased "most people survive." He repeated this phrase during our consult at least 3 more times. It began to be rude since he clearly heard me attempt to reassure my son about the IV that would be needed and recovery. Dr. Kawahara STILL insisted on repeating the phrase, "but most people survive." It became annoying to the point that I literally asked Dr. Kawahara, "Why do you continue to use that phrase when I have repeatedly expressed my son is slightly anxious about the procedure?" His response was that he was just joking. I found his way with my son to be quite insensitive and lacking in emotional intelligence. My teenage son also found the whole experience off-putting, so we are happily having his surgery done with another oral surgeon. If your dentist or orthodontist initially refers you to this office, I suggest scheduling a consult with another oral surgeon (to avoid wasting $200+ for the consult fee). There are multiple other surgeons with better reviews, so don't settle when you can see someone better.
