After quickly realizing that that our previous landscaping contractor was taking advantage of us (you can see my review of BE Landscaping in Google and Yelp reviews), we decided to bring in Mr. Scott Vice, the owner of Vicelanscaping in Santa Rosa, CA. The owner, Scott Vice was very honest and with us as to what he had discovered in our yards. We quickly came to the conclusion that Scott isn't the kind of guy that's going to sugar-coat the issues he found in your yard. He and his able crew went through our front and backyards and pointed out all our neglected and horrible irrigation design-work of the past. He and his wonderful crew (they were all very nice, professional and personable), re-architected the entire front and back yard irrigation systems -- at a very reasonable price. Here's the part that really convinced me that this company was honest. Scott showed us the over-built and totally unnecessary irrigation stations that were wasting water. He also showed us ways that we can save money on our water bill. We liked what we heard so much that we decided to hire him as our regular landscaping contractor! Now our yards look fantastic! I highly recommend Scott Vice and Vicelandscaping!! Give them a call and you WON'T regret hiring Vicelanscaping (landscaping in Santa Rosa, CA) for your yard and irrigation needs!

Andrew came to our house and explored, observed, and most importantly gave his excellent input of ideas for how to make the most out of our gardens and outdoor space. They also added a beautiful and practical set of red mulch throughout our space and it made all the difference. We love spending time outside thanks to their work and it is so nice to have someone we trust to do the hard work on our outdoor space throughout the year. Great insights and guidance to what's possible. Now the details When we rebuilt our house, after losing it in a wildfire, we were not looking forward to more rebuilding. Our backyard was a mud pit and needless to say required a lot of work. When we first began looking for landscape contractors, we obtained six estimates before deciding to work with Chris. Chris came out and took his time walking our yard and talked with us in great detail about the drainage system we needed, given that our lot is a good 2 feet higher than the two lots behind us. We found him to be much more knowledgeable and thorough then any of the other contractors we talked to. He also really understood our vision of what we wanted and offered great guidance from his expertise. He communicated wonderfully throughout each job he has done for us. We have hired him 3 times for drainage, irrigation, paving stones, lattice extension on fence, building pergola and building deck for hot tub, built outdoor shower, and put in trees. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out, but just know he can do it all. We also use his company for regular yard maintenance and have had a wonderful experience with Richard his lawn maintenance guy. We highly recommend Chris for any and all of your landscaping, upgrading, rebuilding needs!! Please see before and after pictures attached!
