This place hasn't had the blessing to take the spot of worst food I've ever had, but second to worst. The price and what we got was not justified at all. I got the steak and pepper skillet and the meat tasted old and reheated it was grey. The gravy in it was just microwaved thick slurry and the mushrooms, some were cold and raw and some were cooked. The onions in it were just a soft sloppy mush that were overcooked. My mother got the grilled salmon that looked nothing short of a prison meal. The beans looked canned. My girlfriend got a sirloin steak which was the only thing that was cooked made to order that entire night. We tried the 10$ burger deal too and was all just straight water that looked like it was boiled. The pie even tasted old like it had freezer burn and was absolutely stiff. I definitely can see this place being bankrupt in a couple of years. read more

This is just an average diner. It is clean and average. The service was ok but nothing special. The servers were friendly when we saw them but nothing special attentive. In fairness I don't think there were enough on to take care of everyone. The food was ok, nothing special. The pancakes were not great. Good enough to eat but not something we would come back for. Then as we were eating a person at our table found a hair in her food. We waved someone over and they exchanged it. However no one came over to apologize (like a manager) and no one even offered anything such as comping that meal. In the end it was open on a Sunday but that was all it really had going for it! read more

Ordered waffle and eggs and bacon was brought in reasonable time food excellent service was prompt and have always had great experience with great food.. do recommend and will be back... read more

Perkins, shame on you for having the worst dinner I have had in a long time. The giant shrimp was microscopic in nature, and the food was lukewarm. Your brown gravy takes a high water mark for being the worst I have ever tasted it. No consideration for my poor response to the waitress and management so it will be a long time if ever before I return. read more

This restaurant consistently is closed during business hours and has a waitress named Shawna who yells at customers and other waitresses. I watched her yell at a blind woman who was simply ordering what she normally orders. I won't return until she's gone. read more

I loved the food here, the pancakes I ordered were unnecessarily fluffy and the service was amazing, the small Asian girl was so hyper and brought an amazing vibe to the whole restaurant! I had to dock a point because their food was just so amazing it made me ruin my diet but it was so worth it! Will show up here again it was amazing all around! read more

We came across this absolute gem while looking for someplace to grab breakfast (served all day here). Service was excellent, all their food is made from scratch, and everything was very reasonably priced. What we ordered looked just as good as the photos on the menu and tasted even better. The whipped cream atop both the croissant French toast and pancakes was thick and paired perfectly with the glazed strawberry topping (totally worth the $0.99 to add it to my spouse's non-seasonal entrée). I ordered my hashbrowns as extra crispy and unlike at most places, I was totally satisfied. Whether you live in Twin Falls, are just looking for a place to grab a meal while passing through, or something in between, I highly recommend stopping in here because you won't be disappointed read more

It was a late Friday night after some little dude baseball in Valley so we were HUNGRY. We wanted something low-key so Perkins was perfect for our group. Bobbi Jo took AMAZING care of us. Give that girl a high five for me! She was quick on our drinks and made us laugh. I ordered a ham & cheese omelette, but it came out "Hamlette" and we laughed all night about it! Def. a new way to order a H&C omelette lol. Other table orders were Country Fried Steak, and a garlic shrimp dish. All of it was delish. We had no complaints and I was very thankful for you guys feeding our baseball players! Pros - Huge Parking Lot, Smiley Service, BREAKFAST. Oh, PS. My 10 year old left his hat at our table that night! YIKES and we had to play in the championship game the next morning! Luckily they had found it and I grabbed it the next morning. Thanks for the memories! :) read more

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery - Bakeries Near Me - Twin Falls, Idaho

On our quick trip to Twin Falls we stopped for dinner at Perkins and it was great. The waitress was so kind and did a great job. The food was also amazing. There was a less than pleasant customer next to us and the staff handled her with such grace I would have never had the patience. Truly they did a great job and we will definitely be stopping again the next time we are in the area. read more

Decided To give them a second chance. Ask for strawberry lemonade sorry no strawberries ask for potato cheese soup sorry we don't have any so I ordered the roast beef melt it was indeed a roast beef melt it had Roast Beef in every third bite. Waitress never offered to refill our water glasses or our drinks and while we were sitting there trying to eat a man was up in the ceiling fixing something with dirt falling down on the floor. Service was slow, food was so so. Sorry, no more perkins. read more

I found this place randomly and decided to try it. the food was good and service was even better. the breakfast was very good and tasty.....hash browns/eggs/bread/coffee ....a perfect breakfast to start the day...... We loved our server. We were such a pain in the butt because we kept realizing we needed things after she had brought us the last thing. Nevertheless she kept a smile on her face and got us everything we needed. The food was good and I would recommend. read more

I don't know why I've avoided this restaurant for so long, but I was pleasantly surprised by on point flavors. Pot roast sandwich.. sounded interesting. To be honest, it was delicious...had crispy bits, good Parmigiano crusted bread, needing no extra seasoning and with au jus? I wanted more when I finished. Tomato soup was full bodied, well seasoned and a great accompaniment to the sandwich. Exceeded my expectations and this on a busy day. Hopefully the other options are as well thought out. read more

There's not much to say about large chain restaurants, the menus and decor are dictated by the corporate HQ. That really just leaves the service and cleanliness to be reviewed. This Perkins is exceptionally clean and the service was second to none. Some of the best I've experienced at a chain restaurant in the last 10 years. Job well done to the staff here. Keep up the great work. read more

Reasonably good breakfast. Service was prompt and courteous. However, the table condiment containers were filthy dirty. The management is not doing a very good job instructing wait staff about proper cleaning procedures. Makes you wonder about the kitchen?? read more

Just passing thru town. Breakfast was good. The Apple pie was great. Service was great.

Came here after being treated rudely across the street at Shari's. The staff was super friendly and the food is great. The portions are perfect. The owner is over the top friendly and an amazing tour guide! I would come here again!! read more

There is a small competition going on about my taste buds on which Cherry Pie is better and believe me the only competition in Twinfalls I've found in a week! Idaho Joes, Shari's and Perkins! After that This place rocks for everything else, Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner! I know this could cause an avalanche of business towards Perkins and push me to having to wait longer than two seconds to get seated, but if you haven't tried Perkins for any meal, do it! And their pies except Cherry have no competition, so far! Now their service is very knowledgeable and friendly as I enter my 2nd week here! In fact Twinfalls doesn't fall short on Friendliness, anywhere in town especially at Perkins! Btw... I dare you to ask Tony about Twinfalls or Magic Valleys history! read more

This is the best breakfast in town! Hands Down! IHOP & Sheri's ain't got nothing on you guys when it comes to breakfast! And service...the servers always have smile on their faces ready to serve! And food...well here in Oklahoma we say..."it's some kinda good!" read more

We've enjoyed breakfast here twice now. Really nice, attentive staff (our server was Shelby today) and great food at great prices. Tony, the owner, even gave my car battery a jump after it wouldn't start. So kind of him to offer to help us out and very much appreciated. We will return. Also, the pastries and pies look delicious. And I agree with another reviewer Perkins surpasses IHOP and Sherri's. read more

This place is A-OK. It's somewhat of a tradition for us to stop at this Perkins when we're passing through. Service is polite and efficient. I kind of think of this place as the Idaho version of Dee's. You know you'll get a solid breakfast and a great milkshake at these type of places. One thing that I really like about Perkins is that at the very front of the dining room they have their baked goods on display, which can be a huge temptation. I gave in and got one of their brownies, and it was very good. There's a competing restaurant across the street (Sherrie's or something). Looks like pretty much the identical clientele and menu. I'd like to see these two get into a Westside Story-style snap off to battle for supremacy. read more

We stopped by on a road trip and we're so pleased with the service and food. Delicious! We've been eating out every day, and this is now a favorite. Can't go wrong here. read more

Great breakfast, good service. Pretty much what you'd expect from a Perkins. We'd go back...for breakfast. Not sure I want to eat this kind of food for other meals. Wait staff was exceptionally good! read more

I usually really love Perkins, but the dishes served herseem like such small portions. The food is good and pie is always great by we left feeling hungry. Would have been better off going to tue golden corral down the street. read more

My first visit to Perkins. I'm from out of town. Pure Country Hospitality. Wonderful Service and very yummy food.

The wife and I had a pleasant meal. The food was decently priced, with great flavor and taste. The staff were fast, with attentive service and quick on getting the orders back. Kudos to the staff who gave us a friendly greeting, even though it was close to closing... read more

This was our post wedding brunch location and it was just ok. I ended up getting the chorizo flat because I wasn't too hungry. It was pretty good given the diner type food here. I was with a large group of people and they also enjoyed aspects of there food. I will say that I was a bit frustrated with the lack of service after getting here later than my other friends. We weren't aware that the mother of the bride and groom were going to pay for the group. We asked for a separate check to pay for our two person meal. While it wasn't a huge deal, we would have appreciated the waitress saying something and perhaps adding our bill to the whole group. It was odd that we were the only ones that paid when she could have easily added it to the group bill. It was a convenient place to eat at but I don't think I'll be going back here anytime soon. read more

We had an ok breakfast . But the owner was training a meet and greet woman . She started to use the booth behind us as therapy and her loud screeching laughs were so irritating we couldn't wait to get out . read more

I really didn't go in with an open mind but was pleasantly surprised!! Good taste and awesome presentation!!

This is a great restaurant. Food is good, prices are reasonable. Every Monday you get a free piece of pie. Can't beat that!!

Food was good-loved the sweet potato fries, staff was really good and pie was fabulous!

Went there with my parents, and everything was amazing. Mom and I had breakfast dad a hot turkey sandwhich. The breakfast was plentiful and tasted awesome with one exception, the kielbasa sausage. The kielbasa was good but I didn't care for it. I will go again service was excellent. read more

We loved it. We were on a road trip to ID from CA. Our first time. Everything was delicious, service was great and prices too! Thanks

I consistently get good food here at a price that won't break the bank. Costimer service is good and I always leave satisfied.

You can't go wrong with the grannys omelette. Through in some twin berry syrup and you're golden. Had great service too.

The Staff is the reason for 4 stars. Standard Perkins Fare and well done even then. Clean well cared for establishment. However, the staff made the difference. They fielded a crew of 25 kids and 16 adults, some with special dietary needs, with grace, excellent service, in a timely fashion, with only a miniscule commical mistake. The staff made the visit worth it! After an experience at a dive across the street from them, we're eating there again. Thanks Guys! read more

God's waiting room. I fully expected a doctor on staff to make sure customers were still alive. I like Denny's better.
