When asked if he works on pellet stove he said yes. Had him out and he recommended several parts ($250)replaced and told me to order and replace/repair myself. Later discovered that no parts were needed. The stove is fine after I cleaned and looked online to reset. He did not understand my stove. He was slow to follow up. He charged $75 for incorrect advice and a little cleaning. Refused to refund money. I do not recommend. read more

I hired this company to clean and inspect my fireplace and chimney, in preparation for having gas logs installed. I felt the $175 was steep, but Mr. Perkins assured me that he does "a 32 point inspection". He was in my home approximately a half hour. He did not remove the ladder from his truck, so I'm not sure how he inspected the chimney cap, but he said it was in good condition (guess I'll have to take his word for it). Maybe he felt it wasn't necessary, since we were installing the gas logs? He did clean the ashes out of the fireplace, but even the guy who installed the logs commented "whoever cleaned out your fireplace didn't do a very good job". To his credit, he did not make a mess in my home. I will not use this company again, as value is not commensurate with cost. read more

November of 2018 employees came out to give estimate and to see what the job would take to remove old wood furnace, change ducts work and install new one. (There is way to much to type here to have the fully story) Chad Perkins ( Owner) was never present at all till the day of installation. 12-1118 Chad came to take out old one and install new one. It was to be a 1 day job and it was immediately noticed and mentioned that the job was way more than he was told or thought. He wanted to take short cuts to get the job done faster. He left old unit in basement and said he normally doesn't do tear outs and made the basement a complete dusty mess, computer and printer covered with dust. When asked about the dust he said " you'll have that with this kind of work" He could have told us ahead of time to remove or cover things. It was a 2 1/2 day job. The unit may have been faulty and he and my self worked with manufacture to trouble shoot numerous things. Shorter story is the manufacture cut us off and would not deal with the problem any more and stated it was an installation problem. Ended up having two parts replaced. Chad worked with us for two months to continue to get it to work right. Some times he showed he cared and other times he wasn't professional. The last thing he did was move the blower switch to the outside of the unit to the top which is not recommended by manufacture. Blower continues to run non stop and runs when the thermostat isn't even calling for heat. This burns wood faster ( $2,200/ 10 cords of wood for 3 months), supper heats the house and creates higher electric bills. After two weeks of no returned emails, texts or calls and what seemed to be he wasn't going to finish the job as a professional. We received a letter from his lawyer stating he was not responsible for anything further, that it was do to a faulty furnaces and not installation. We are left with a damaged unit after 3 months of being used. The lack of knowledge from Chad has left us with a cracked frame, severely twisted, damaged support beams inside. The unit will be lucky to get a second winter out of it. Thousands of dollars and time wasted. I will never use his services again nor recommend him to anyone. read more
