Where do I start... the one star is for prompt seating, our server came by and took our drink order, we asked for a minute to decide what we wanted. Must have been a rookie as she was not sure what she needed to ask what I wanted with my breakfast. After what seemed liked a longer than normal wait (we drank the thermos of coffee) our breakfast arrived. Mine was lukewarm at best ( the toast plate was warmer than the toast) the hash browns were so over cooked that I feared I would break a tooth. My advice go to Eggington's. To top it off we had to go to the cashier for our check and then they gave us the wrong one. Luckily it was for less than our original bill. read more

Came on a Sunday late morning and had to wait a few minutes for a table. Host and waitress were very friendly and attentive. Once we ordered it was another 45 minutes before our food came. Bathroom could use some better upkeep, the largest stall door didn't close all the way and there was toilet paper on the floor. Eggs Benedict was good, flavorful hollandaise sauce and thick cut ham. The fruit wasn't great, just cantaloupe and grapes. Chicken fried steak was good but side of pancakes was nothing special. Would have appreciated some other hot sauce options, only Tabasco was offered. I havent been to Perkins in awhile. I used to love their bran muffins & the bread bowls ... which are no longer on the menu. Our waitress didnt possess a smile; never checked if we wanted refills. I arrived before my lunch guest & the waitress got snippy with me when she stopped to take our order & I told her my guest had just sat down & hadnt had a chance to review the menu ... Good food, great prices but service was lacking. Server didn't check on us to see if everything was ok. Was food prepared correctly or ask us if we wanted a refill on our drinks. In Wyoming with the hubby for his job this was our first official morning in Wyoming. We wanted something close to the hotel before he went to work and Perkins happened to be it. You walk in the door and boom your hit with cases full of pies and muffins. Sadly I did not get any but they have Pumpkin muffins as their special muffins at the moment. We were sat promptly and our waitress was awesome. The food we had was great and I always love it when I don't have to wait on coffee because a coffee pitcher is left at the table Great start to our day. read more

By far the best food I had the entire time on my South Dakota, Nebraska and Wyoming road trip. I got the BBQ Tangler burgers, fries & pie combo (sub onion rings) and it was fan-frickin-tastic! They didn't have the caramel apple pie I ordered so they randomly poured caramel over a slice of regular apple pie and gave me a slice of wild berry pie for free! The server who brought my order out to my car was super nice and helpful. My only complaint would be that they didn't give me the requested cutlery. Staying at a hotel with a messy meal and not having silverware or a napkin was not the best. For that reason, they lose a star. read more

I tend to stop by this place anytime I'm driving through Casper. Food is okay - never spectacular. Stopped by late one night and they had already shut down the grill. We went here during Covid ... cleaning superior ! and the staff is incredibly friendly and appreciative that you're out and about. Food was just what we needed that night. Third stop for breakfast on Sunday .... there was a 15-20 minute wait ... but we were checked in relatively quickly. Hand Sanitizer is available, all staff had mask on. Breakfast was good , ordered the Eggs Benedict , eggs were good , I would have preferred a thicker slice of ham rather than the thin ham lunch meat used , other than that it was tasty. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. Was seated pretty quick. The first server took our drink orders and disappeared for a while, only to return 10 minutes later. We finally placed our order with a second server and I started a stop watch because it felt like an eternity to get anything. I ordered the French dip and 27minutes later the server brought our food. This is the cooks idea of what a French dip sandwich is. We spoke with the manager and offered to pay for the soda we had. Needless to say we won't be back for a while. read more

I went for the thanksgiving buffet. We went in and it was super busy. They offer you either the menu or the buffet. I chose the buffet, first thing is the line was obnoxiously long, for a second I was like maybe I should order off the menu lol. I'm glad I waited cause overall it wasn't all that long of a wait. They had all the things you'd expect for a thanksgiving meal. Turkey,stuffing,salad,fruit,ham,pie,olives, mashed potatoes and gravy. Every thing was really good. I recommend this for thanksgiving if you don't want to cook or whatever reason wanna go out give it a try the buffet was 16.99 for adults and 6.99 for kids and seniors I believe. read more

Vegetable Frittata full of vegetables & 3 eggs. Although good, it is very dry, very little moisture. I needed to wash it down after each bite. Fruit cup is ordinary. Eggs Benedict fair, it could be better. Eggs were not quite done enough., Hollandaise Sauce had no zing to it. Potatoes deep fried & very dry, slightly hard. Overall the meal was not a good one. The coffee was good, no real cream offered, they only have 2% milk & they are stingy with their ice. Sara, our waitress. Not the most pleasant. Rushing us to order. Then had to finish giving my order, by stopping her from running off.. Amber, the manager/hostess today did give us 20% off our bill, due to the failings of the meal. She was pleasant & attentive. Sat for over 30 minutes waiting for a server sat for another 30 waiting on food. Decided I wasn't waiting any longer and left. Was there before several other tables and still sat waiting on hour long food when it only takes about 10-15 minutes to cook all the meals combined. Will stick to Dennys and Village inn. read more

Stopped here for dinner. Had the reuban sandwich and garlic flavored salmon with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli. The samon was cooked perfectly. Tender, moist and looked beautiful. It did need a stronger garlic flavor. I just added a bit of salt and it was fine. Not garlic-ly but still good. The broccoli was steamed perfectly. Was not under done. And it was not over done. Both of which is easy to do. Rarely has a diner type restaurant gotten in perfect. My 8 year old son had the chicken noodle soup. First time he has ever ordered it at a restaurant. He usually sticks to fries. He said he loves the soup and asked me to add his comment to this review. Reuban was really good. I always feel a little weird eating here. Why, because I always feel like I'm fifty years younger than the general clientele. Breakfast is generally good. Most of the omelets and the potato pancakes are good. The muffins are excellent and always provide a nice "to go" snack for later. All experiences with the lunch and dinner menu have been disappointing. Luckily they serve breakfast all the time. Nothing special here and watch out for buses as they will make things worse. read more

I use to despise this place...Not anymore! Atmosphere is great. Good music, great food and decent prices. Loving the burger specials with pie for only 10 bucks! The coconut pie is to die for! Worst Perkins I've ever been to. Before we were seated, while waiting at the hostess sign a man at the counter was complaining (to deaf ears) that he's never waited so long for service. Our service was average but the food was awful. I had the chicken pot pie. It came with a round pie crust teetering on the top and the filling was cold. Apparently they just take some filling out of the fridge and try and brown a piece of pie crust on the top. If they don't get it right... it'd inedible. Friend had pot roast. The pot roast was so think it reminded of that cheap lunch meat you get in those bags at the store, and he hand about 1 tablespoon of mashed potatoes. it was a terrible meal. read more

Host and manager need to be retrained for after church Sunday business. We were happy to wait the 20 minutes until the host crossed off our name and proceeded to Seat the next on the list with out announcing anything. Been a regular at this Perkins for years. The food has always been ok for a large chain, but these past few months the food and menu have become excellent with better lower calorie choices. The Perkins employees are proactive, polite with cheery helpful attitudes. For sure I and my family will keep coming back to this particular Perkins restaurant. read more
