This is a typical Middlebury College hangout place. I don't know how I feel about a college-owned…read morebusiness and I also wonder how it sustains itself, but it's still kicking and thriving as we speak. The smoothies are good, but as a broke college student, I don't have the money to be buying smoothies regularly. (I instead find myself here when free food and drinks are involved!) (I do however want to say that my friend Juniper, a trusty employee of this establishment, had invented the Juniper smoothie, and it's pretty good. I'm not sure if it's still on the menu, but if it is, I'd give it a try for the heck of it.) The baristas are typically student workers, and they are some of the friendly faces that you may expect to see on campus. The roster of students working here also always changes as each class graduates or goes abroad every year. As a meeting space, this place is pretty ideal. Plenty of booths to sit and do work at, plenty of tables to do the same, there's even a conference room to host events like dinners or meetings.
