My experience so far is that Dr. Limardi cares about his patients and is good at what he does. I went to Dr. Limardi for a functional crown lengthening because my dentist needed more tooth above gumline crown to be exposed to seat a crown. Dr. Limardi is easy to reach and called me back to address my concerns regarding this procedure which I appreciated, as some dental professionals ignore emails. Dr. Limardi performed the crown lengthening perfectly (and without removing my temporary crown)- exposing enough tooth so my dentist could seat the crown but was not overly aggressive in removing bone/gum (which was my concern), and it blends in with adjacent teeth. His surgical skill meant a quick recovery - I was able to brush and floss the site at a week and a half, and best of all 2 weeks later at my followup he remarked "doesn't look like we did anything" at the operating site, meaning the area looked completely healed without gnarly scars of a dentist hacking away or infection. The area is a bit tender because this is surgery of hard bone tissue which takes 3 months to heal. On the financial side, he accepts insurance for functional procedures (insurance doesn't pay for cosmetic procedures) which signals to me he cares about his patients beyond just money. He also answered all my questions and gave competent advice regarding this procedure, the implant I have, and other teeth. I'll probably go to him for gum grafting next year. He has 2 offices and a full schedule, so I suspect the lack of reviews is because his clientele is on the older side as his practice is limited to periodontal procedures and implants. read more
