I noted I'm allergic to a lot of fruits when I booked so Katie kindly double checked on the ingredients in the products. She also nicely and thoroughly explained how to apply products so I can try to recreate the look at home again. She also introduced to me some new products that would aid me in the application because tools make the product. I went for an overall soft glam look with lashes (for an additional fee) and she nailed it! She asked for my input throughout and was initially light on the eyes (I did ask for light eyes), which I appreciated because I just wanted a tinge more color and it was easy to build up. I also have monolids which can be sometimes hard for some people to do makeup for but Katie is an expert! Definitely would come back if I was a local or had another wedding in the area! In that instance, you know you should entrust that kind of thing to an expert, and Ana is an expert. She responded very promptly and had questions that put me at ease immediately: what was the book made of? Was it something porous? Going back and forth with a grieving family was slow-going, but Ana was patient and communicative, even with the tight turnaround. She was clear and upfront about what we should expect, and the price for her work was very reasonable. And the finished product was lovelier than I could have imagined. It was thoughtfully placed and even packaged beautifully. My friend loved the book so much and was so happy with the result.
