I often use Sephora for certain brand access. This particular Sephora has trouble hiring helpful…read morestaff. Consistently when I visit, staff simply do not want to help. When staff act this way consistently usually the root cause is leadership. Additionally, when you need to test product the lighting in the store is very poor making it challenging to see how the product looks on you. Couple that with many staff not motivated to help and you create a situation where customers either are not set up to purchase or end up purchasing poorly matched, causing a need for returns. Thus adding to the cycle of employee grievance. After my most recent similar experience I went immediately across town to Ulta, got friendly help, and a purchase that I needed. While I want to rate three stars because at least of the certain products I can only get at Sephora, I have easy access to. I feel inclined to rate lower for poor staff behavior, unwilling to help, poor lighting, and their wierd policy they won't match foundation without giving them your phone number. That violates data privacy to withhold services in exchange for private information.

However, i was christmas shopping and noticed a lot of people entering the store and a lot of people leaving with big bags of stuff. so i decided to go in and check it out to see if there was something special going on, and indeed there was! i've heard of candle day, but having more than enough candles to last years (yes, i hoarded my favorite scents and have more than i need) i didn't feel the need to by more. but on this day, it was body care day! that means that ALL BODY CARE items were $4.95 each! and you can use coupons if you have any on top of that!! any body care item meaning, lotions, creams, sprays, shower gels, etc were included. even the more expensive apothecary line with essential oils (my absolute favorite) i stocked up on some of my favorite apothecary scents and even got some additional for presents. i love B&BW as gifts because they will give you free tissue/bags/ribbons etc to wrap the product in. it's always pretty and makes it look really nice when presented to others. personal shopping tip. i like to either make B&BW the last stop on my shopping route or make sure that i'm parked nearby. since i know that if i do end up buying anything here, it'll be heavy and i don't want to carry that stuff around as i continue to shop, so i make sure i can either go straight to my car to drop it off, or leave.

In addition I believe their prices in general are getting outta wack. However, today an allergen hit me outta nowhere so I whipped in for my go to eradicator, Alevert. Non drowsy and works every time. I'd like to give 5 stars for the store lead and for the regular Walgreens employees. The lead is…read moreamazing, and he actually cares about the customer experience. Around 4:00 today, I requested a refill for my elderly, Spanish speaking mother. She's traveling out of the country for thirty days, and the pharmacy manager mentioned that insurance stated it was too soon to refill. This is understandable, and she said she would start the process of a vacation override, and to come back, to this specific location, prior to 7:00 when they close. At 6:45 I approached the drive up window and spoke with Danielle. Danielle was quick to alert me of the same, that the insurance wouldn't allow a refill without a vacation override. I explained that I understand, and attempted to explain my previous interaction with the pharmacy manager. Danielle was dismissive and argumentative, and without actually listening to what I had to say, kept stating that there was nothing she could do. She stated we had to start over again with the insurance company. Understandably we were frustrated. She said I needed to get out of the drive through line and come inside. She said she had other customers to help. What am I? I asked if she could give me the phone number for the insurance company. She said no, and stated that it's on the insurance card. I stated I did not have the card with me, and again asked for the number. She said she couldn't give it to me because she was "busy" and again told me to come inside if I wanted to be helped. Begrudgingly, and even more frustrated, I parked, went in, and attempted to address the situation. She handed me a paper with the insurance company's phone number, and was beyond rude about it. Before I had the opportunity to even explain the situation, her manager, the pharmacist proceeds to intervene, and was yelling and condescending. His name was Jerry, and he would not allow me to speak. He kept talking over me, yelling, to the point where, I admit I lost my patience and I told him to "shut up". I apologize for my reaction, but I was beyond frustrated. He kept saying that this is his store, and that I can't speak to him that way. Well, I wouldn't have spoken to him that way had his team been helpful, or if he had actually approached the situation in a manner that was helpful. He started out argumentative, and only continued to escalate the situation. Ultimately he called for the store manager/lead. Thank God he did, because he was the only one who took the time to listen, and address the actual concerns. As the lead attempted to work toward a resolution, the pharmacist, Jerry, continue to spew unhelpful, unfriendly comments. In fact he went as far as saying that even if we for the "vacation override" that he determines whether or not he will dispense the medicine. It made me feel like no matter what attempts I make with the insurance company, or with his colleagues, that is intentions were to cause problems and be anything but helpful. In fact, while talking with the store lead, another customer made a comment to him that she witnessed the tech (Danielle) having an argument with someone in the drive through (which was me), and felt that she should have been kinder and more understanding and professional. Needless to say, we are back at square one. Typically Walgreens has served as the liaison between myself and the insurance company, helping to navigate the red tape, and ultimately assist in getting my mother's medication filled. This didn't happen. In fact, it couldn't have been handled in a worse way. We understand the delays insurance can cause, but what we don't understand is the unnecessary aggression, nor the demeaning way in which any of the pharmacy staff handled the situation. Danielle and Jerry needed to be reminded of who they are there to serve... their customers. I am going to spread my experience far and wide so that other customers don't have to deal with the same nonsense.

The clerk was beyond rude but the store manager came and corrected the issue. I ordered a pair of shoes online for store pick up. I saw three pair on the rack at 815pm on 12/22. At 930am, I ordered them online for store pick up. At 1pm, I received an email stating they were out of stock and shipped instead I needed them for Christmas. I went in around 6pm on 12/23 to pick up the rest of my order. I went to shoes and found all three pair. I took one pair to Customer Service to see if they could switch it back to store pick up. Juanita, clerk, was beyond rude. I was laughed at in my face for asking. I attempted to explain that I received an email they were out of stock. I tried showing her the email on my phone. I was met with laughing, eyes rolling, head twisting, and beyond rude comments. I stopped her and said "please stop, I don't deserve this type of treatment." She thought that was ridiculous. An assistant manager came and told her to leave. This didn't stop the behavior. As I attempted to explain what occurred, she stood there interrupting making "uggghhh" noises. I was simply attempting to pick up an order and make another purchase. I then asked to speak to the STORE MANAGER. Well, Juanita went at it again telling me SHE is the store manager, laughing, snickering, and twisting her head. I explained the STORE MANAGER is a man, not a woman. The assistant manager then confirmed he left for the day. I told them to cancel the order and I would go to DSW. They then said they would have to call customer service to cancel the order. While on the phone with customer service, the assistant manager decided to talk about me to another employee who sat there and stared at me. When I left, I picked up the shoes and walked away. I stated I would put the shoes away and didn't need help. I considered having the clerk in the shoe department by the exit ring them up. The clerk the assistant manager talked about me to decided to scream across the store "thank you for your patience, Happy Holidays." This was not out of kindness. It was pure sarcasm. I was more than 700-800ft away. I kept going as it is pointless to engage in this ridiculous behavior. My grandson saw them laughing. I wish I could say I was rude. It would at least explain their behavior. I simply wanted to pick up my shoes. I cancelled my Macys credit card. I will go to Stonebriar to return the shoes. Dillards is a much better option. It is never acceptable for customer service associates to act like this. No wonder Macys is closing stores at rapid rates. Juanita has helped me so many times over the years. I have never had an issue with her until last night. She is usually quiet and matter of fact. I was shocked by her animation last night. I never saw that coming.

We called and reported it and came back (walked in) to get if fixed. A different pharmacy tech tried to tell me that the suspension was fine and we just had to mix it harder (lady we were violently shaking that dang bottle for ~10 minutes straight to no avail). The bottle was opaque so I brought a flashlight that could reveal the clump, and she looked at me like I was foreign (no lady, I'm not trying to give my 6 month old the improper dosage of meds). The pharmacists proceeds to say, "just give him a new bottle" and she comes and gives it to me and says, "make sure you're satisfied with it". I replied "isn't your job to ensure that EVERY customer gets the proper medicine? It shouldn't be my choice or satisfaction". It was insane that I had to remind them that it was their job to ensure all medicine was properly prepared BEFORE giving it to the customer/patient as they are the trusted professionals with YEARS of experience. The group then proceeded to tell me they are doing their job and making sure the customer happy and it dawned on me that other meds they have prepared could be improperly mixed or similar looking pills could be mixed up with how complacent the attitudes were. Awful attitudes...awful work ethic...the writing on the wall is these disgruntled people will run this location to the ground. If you have a choice, I would HIGHLY recommend you go to another pharmacy. If you go here, I urge you to double check (google) what meds you're getting and they look right.
