The store clerk refused, saying that Chanel products were not returnable for any reason. Nothing on the sign in the store, their website or the receipt itself showed any exclusions for Chanel. The employee was the only one there. So I asked him to call the manager on the phone, which he did while I was standing there. The manager also refused to allow him to issue the merchandise credit.

However, i was christmas shopping and noticed a lot of people entering the store and a lot of people leaving with big bags of stuff. so i decided to go in and check it out to see if there was something special going on, and indeed there was! i've heard of candle day, but having more than enough candles to last years (yes, i hoarded my favorite scents and have more than i need) i didn't feel the need to by more. but on this day, it was body care day! that means that ALL BODY CARE items were $4.95 each! and you can use coupons if you have any on top of that!! any body care item meaning, lotions, creams, sprays, shower gels, etc were included. even the more expensive apothecary line with essential oils (my absolute favorite) i stocked up on some of my favorite apothecary scents and even got some additional for presents. i love B&BW as gifts because they will give you free tissue/bags/ribbons etc to wrap the product in. it's always pretty and makes it look really nice when presented to others. personal shopping tip. i like to either make B&BW the last stop on my shopping route or make sure that i'm parked nearby. since i know that if i do end up buying anything here, it'll be heavy and i don't want to carry that stuff around as i continue to shop, so i make sure i can either go straight to my car to drop it off, or leave.

I saw a UPS driver across the street and went out and asked if he attempted to pick up my package. He said he did and would be back around after he finished his deliveries. When I called to get that straight, the rep tried to lay blame on UPS for the condition of the package. He also suggested that I open it. Nope! The UPS driver stated he was the one that delivered it, and it was in that condition when he picked it up for delivery. I don't doubt it one bit! He said that it was good that I left it in the box. Will pen separate review for UPS. I do understand that he had no choice but to deliver it, no matter what the condition. He was just doing his job. I have since exhaled!
