Their selection is consistently impressive -- a wide variety of furniture, home décor, tools, and unique finds, all thoughtfully organized and easy to browse. What really stands out is their pricing. Items are clearly marked and reasonably priced, making it easy to feel confident you're getting good value without the stress or guesswork you sometimes find at other sales. Most importantly, the customer service is outstanding. Elizabeth and her team are friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They go out of their way to answer questions, keep things well organized, and create a welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they care about both their clients and their customers, which makes the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. If you're looking for estate sales with great selection, fair pricing, and a team that truly values customer service, Four Seasons Estate Sales is a top choice.

He knew my father personally and promised to do the best job for my families heirloom pieces. Although a very personable guy, Mark, his partner Dwayne, and the rest of the team, did the worst possible effort I have ever imagined. Hey waited til the last min to list items at auction and had poor results. They had zero security at our very large sale. My family had very old items and this team allowed items to be stolen, rendering items worthless. Items were way overpriced and when offers were presented, not one person contacted me to discuss the offers. Items that were marked as "Not for sale", were either sold or stolen. Damage was done to the home and new construction. We opted for the after sale clean out, and then team basically threw away almost everything left over. I also found items in an employees garage and honestly have no idea if they just took what they want or paid for them. There was no invoice showing sales on items. When I got paid, they showed their pay, their credit card charge fees, clean out charge, and my portion. Because there is not proof of sales, I was JUST TOLD what they were. After the sale, I had angry customers showing up at the house, mad because 4 Seasons doesn't answer their phones and the customer needed a title for a boat. The employees wanted pass on messages to the customer about a title. Say What?! I felt like I was taken for a ride, so I attended an estate sale by Lionheart the day after our sale. Lionheart had security in literally every room, garage, porch, and entry. They had collectable items located near the checkout tables to be watched and managed. The flow was impressive and I cant imagine they allowed items of value to be stolen. ****AGAIN...I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING THIS COMPANY!! You have been warned!

The first…read morevisit with Amy went fine, so we scheduled the sale for late July and I signed the agreement. The sale was scheduled for 7/27; closing on sale of the house had been scheduled for 7/30. On the morning of 7/21 Amy and her husband came to the house again. This meeting didn't feel right. They were dismayed that I didn't have an extra set of keys to give them, and that the carport did not have a gate that could be locked. This was the first I had heard about either of these conditions, but I told them I would get a set of keys ASAP, even though I was completely willing to let them in when needed, then leave them alone in the house if necessary (their preference to be alone). I checked the agreement that I had signed, and nowhere does it say that A & A needs their own set of keys. There was nothing I could do about the carport, but nothing more was said. Early that afternoon, 7/21, I received a text that they would not do the sale because of these two issues. Both could easily be fixed, but there was no discussion with me. I had already said I would provide keys (although everyone I mentioned this to thought it was odd), and the outdoor items in the storage sheds could either be set out the day of the sale, or simply omitted from the sale and left in the sheds. Since I do not live in TX and the closing was imminent I was desperate for this sale to happen when scheduled. I literally begged them to reconsider, and they grudgingly agreed. The sale did take place; the results were so-so, but that's not the issue. I'm aware that I was not their ideal client since I was trying to clear out the home of a pack rat and there weren't many items of significant value. If they had reviewed the pictures they took on the first visit and the additional ones that I sent and then decided it wasn't worth their time I might have had time to find someone else. But between hiring them and holding the sale they made no effort to communicate with me unless I contacted them first. And cancelling at the eleventh hour, and by text rather than phone call, was a very low blow that caused me a great deal of stress. Since others appear to have had a good experience with this company I am happy for them; I only wish my experience had been half as good.

The sale was conducted very professionally, and we were more than pleased with the outcome. They took care of donating the remaining items, giving us a receipt and photos for documentation of the donation, and left the house cleaner than when we started. I feel sure we would not have come out better conducting a sale ourselves, and would have spent far more time to achieve anything close to their results. Beyond this, the staff was friendly and kind to my mother and our family, and I felt great about their communication. They made it very clear what was included in their service, and handled everything with integrity and transparency. Certainly would use them again or refer them to friends or neighbors needing to conduct an estate sale.

My mother recently passed away after a very difficult six months and my father downsized from the large home they lived in for the past 45 years to an apartment. As a family, we were grieving, exhausted and overwhelmed at the thought of somehow having an estate sale that encompassed a home full of belongings. Hiring Afternoon Estate Sales was like waving a magic wand. They took virtually the entire burden from us. After we removed what we wanted to keep, they worked for two weeks prior to the sale; researching, pricing, organized and displayed everything and guided us through the process of the actual sale, which was very successful. But more than that, in a day where it's difficult to get the minimum of customer service, Arthur goes out of his way to deliver more than you expect. His knowledge and expertise about the Dallas area market, what is likely to sell and how to price more interesting/expensive items was invaluable. So to, his knowledge of jewelry. He discovered that several pieces we thought were costume, were in fact, quite valuable. In my experience of working with him very closely for the past month or so, his work ethic and honesty are impeccable. I cannot recommend him and Afternoon Estate Sales highly enough. We would give him 10 stars if we could.

He was also completely transparent every step of the way. I hired an antique appraiser along with Arthur, but in several cases Arthur was more knowledgeable. He found better ways to sell some silver and gold in the house as well as moved all my appliances and got a bunch for some small items that I didn't think were valuable. Finally, he was upfront with his pricing. I knew what the sale and clean out were going to cost and Arthur was honest about what we were likely to make so I could make a good decision going in. Then he went in and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend him for your needs.

Review of Texas Treasures Estate Sales…read more I am sharing my experience with Texas Treasures Estate Sales, owned by Ava Neal of Lakeside, Texas, so others researching estate sale companies can make informed decisions. This review reflects my personal experience. I contacted Texas Treasures Estate Sales to conduct an estate sale for the contents of my 3000 sq ft home. I did not hire the company to sell the home or select a real-estate agent. During the consultation, Ava Neal walked through the home and reviewed the contents. I explained that the water had been temporarily turned off after the winter freeze and would be turned back on the next day. After reviewing the home and contents, a written agreement was signed for the estate sale. During the consultation, Ava Neal repeatedly encouraged me to contact her real-estate agent and suggested listing the home before the estate sale. I explained several times that my plan was to complete the estate sale First and choose my Own agent later. There were also repeated questions about Guns and Vehicles. I explained those were not part of the estate sale inventory. The property is approximately 3,000 square feet and contained a full household of items already reviewed during the walkthrough. I was also asked who owned the property, and I Confirmed that I am the Owner. Ava Neal asked for a house key multiple times. I explained that I was not comfortable providing a key to someone I had just met, and that I live nearby and could meet at the house whenever access was needed. Access was Never an issue. Some items for the estate sale were boxed and organized in the garage in preparation for sorting and pricing. After signing the agreement, I also set aside personal time to prepare for the sale. The following day, Ava Neal returned with tables and racks typically used to set up estate sales, indicating preparations were beginning. However, during that same visit I was told the home would not generate enough revenue for the estate sale and the agreement should be cancelled, even though the home and contents had already been reviewed and a contract had been signed. I asked what should be done with the contract and was told to Tear It Up. I had waited about a year to arrange the estate sale due to grief and hired a company because my time is valuable and I expected a professional process. When the agreement was cancelled after preparations had begun, the time and effort I set aside were lost. When working with a professional company, customers reasonably expect professionalism, clear communication, and reliability. I am sharing this experience so others researching estate sale companies can make informed decisions. Readers can review information and draw their own conclusions. I feel giving a One Star is too high for this company.
