I had a fabulous experience! I was happily overwhelmed with the amount of designer fragrances etc…read morethey carry. Not only women, but mens as well. They also carry a large supply of Bath and Body products and candles. I found the Versace Bright Crystals and the DKNY Be Delicious green apple gift sets here and was elated. Jimmy, the owner, gave me a small deal for the purchase of the 2 sets which I greatly appreciated. I've been looking for the Issey Miyake floral forever, the girls searched for me, and while they did carry three of their other scents, Jimmy stated that he would look into finding the floral. Scent testing was encouraged and easy. The girls even opened up new boxes so I could smell a fragrance. Awesome customer service and reasonable pricing. I'll be back'

Just wanted to update this review after another amazing experience here. I always enjoy chatting…read morewith Jose, he is extremely helpful and outgoing, and has amazing knowledge on fragrances and their dupes. He was kind enough to explain what oud was to my friend (who is new to fragrances) and show him examples of how it smells. I ended up buying Lattafa Maahir Legacy (PDM Sedley Dupe) for just $20! They price match here, which is how I was able to get such a good deal. Smell This Perfumes is elite. It always feels like a community here rather than a store. The owner is cool with everyone and knows his customers on a first name basis. Hoping for bigger things to come with this business!

Slow Fashion! These guys are offering some pretty cool…read moregear! They've got a lot of stuff that looks like it belongs out on the ranch while drinking Sotol and watching the sunset. The store has a whole vibe to it that's more Marfa than San Antonio, where things are slower, more relaxed. I enjoy their selection of patches that you can use to dress up any outfit to make it more awesome. They're more expensive than those ones made out in China, but they have a shag carpet kind of effect on the embroidery that makes it a hundred times more kickass. They sell knives! Check out the ones with the Texas flag handles- they'd go great with a Texas independence day festival for limes. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. They were super helpful and friendly. Prices are clearly labeled, and they have so much fun merch- it's a great place to get outfitted while keeping things sustainable, local and of course- fashionable.

On our recent trip to San Antonio, we made sure to stop at Temple of Offering which was a total gem…read moreof a store - tucked away with a zen vibe, beautifully designed, well curated with a nice mix of local brands including a strong focus on women-owned local businesses (leather goods, bandanas, etc.) that I would not have discovered elsewhere, really friendly owners who were knowledgeable about the products, good mix of men's and women's clothes (with a lot of crossover gender neutral options such as Jungmaven, Boyd's of Texas fragrances, etc.). They are inspired in part by Georgia O'Keefe and you can feel that minimalist but warm influence in the store. I bought a small home goods item and they gave me a free zine on mental health. You could tell this place is a true passion project of the owners and when back in town, or online, I plan to support them!

Stopped by to get some Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover because this house brand is the only thing…read morethat removes my waterproof mascara. I've been using it for years. I was able to pick up a bottle & afterwards was trying on perfume samples. It's nice because they have paper tabs you can just spray on to test the scent. There were lots of new scents I've never seen before. I'm in a change-of-season mode looking for a lighter, less musky scent esp. since the weather's been in the 80°s. I didn't find anything that suited me but at least was able to smell some. I like how they have the perfume bottles anchored with an extendable wire to prevent thefts. Attendants were helpful from the time I entered til the time I left. After I checked out, I was asked if I needed any help & remembered I wanted to check out a Kosas concealer. I was brought to the Kosas area & attended by Joe. He said he'd color-match me to avoid the guesswork. It's a hand-held device that is set to your forehead & cheek to get closer to the color tones of your skin. Joe chose a couple of shades & tested it on my hand then on my face after he sanitized the tester. I checked it by the window & settled for one mini-sized concealer. I also asked about a pressed foundation product as my Shiseido had been discontinued. He showed me a Dior balm type of product so he did the same test w/a couple of shades, sanitized again & tried it above my chin. I told him I'd wear it while walking around Whole Foods & see how it wears in the day before buying. I asked him for some tips to set makeup under the eyes & he gave some suggestions. I addressed some skincare concerns and he was limited in knowledge but that's fine. In time I'm sure he'll gain more experience. I'd say the associates I've worked with in the Nordstrom Beauty counters have more experience, IMO. Nevertheless, there are a ton of product lines including the Sephora brand which has its own merits. Brands evolve & I like to see the new products offered, new technologies incorporated, new colors & formulations. I like the convenience of buying online & pickup except for the locations at Kohl's. There are a lot of Sephoras in the area which is nice & their rewards program is an extra perk. They always have new sample sizes for 100 point rewards redemptions every month which is fun to look forward to. I've even redeemed La Mer skincare sets for 500 points! They also offer various makeup application classes & have certain product line events where they're launching new products. You can sign up online & check their calendar of events.
