They clearly put a lot of thought and effort into curating the experience from the god / goddess personality quiz to the drinks offered, to the ability to reorder easily, the product options, a small gift for the birthday girl, and the variety of scents offered. Their employees are not only so nice and helpful throughout the experience but they seem genuinely interested in what you're putting together. Even offering suggestions to help you tie everything together. I brought a small sample of a perfume I'm obsessed with and they helped me recreate it with my own personal twist. Having tables now makes it feel more social and is nice when you're coming with a group. However, I felt like the experience itself was less personal. Previously, someone was with you more closely to help you get started and guide you through the process, whereas this time we were more on our own. The biggest change for me was having to start with a perfume foundation. I really loved the experience before because you could create your fragrance completely from scratch. I personally prefer very light scents, and I wasn't a fan of any of the foundation options, so I felt like I was starting with something I didn't really like and trying to build around it. It would not have been a perfume I would have purchased, especially at this cost. I was also disappointed that wine is no longer offered. It made it feel more elevated. I've enjoyed my previous visits, which is why I was disappointed this time. I hope they'll consider bringing back more of the original hands-on, from-scratch experience as an option and offering wine as part of the experience again. The staff member said it was a change made about a year ago, but I was just there back in June so it felt off. I don't like that you place a deposit in advance without knowing if the changes made.

I will say that they can be a little too eager to induce you to buy more items (I think I was asked about four times if I wanted to add anything to my purchase). You're able to watch the creation of your fragrance in a little booth to the side (it is mixed upon your ordering, which I like), and the label can be customized, making it a fun choice for a gift. Because it is constituted upon ordering, though, I was advised that the scent would need a couple weeks to mature for use. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, and I highly recommend it to fragrance fans. Surprisingly enough, when I pulled in two of my friends and started handing them my perfume cards to get opinions, they too started getting immersed into the experience and Nico helped them as well. Nico gave me the opportunity to test out a scent on each wrist and leave it on as I walked throughout the mall just to see how well the scent mixed in with my natural scent.
