It's hard to find honest people that care in the customer service industry and for that thank you so much! I definitely will spread the word to family and friends

My boyfriend and I went to this horrible Sephora, Tuesday 23rd at 11:50am. ( Just in case you guys…read moreneed to look up who was working that day on the schedule.) Upon arriving no one welcomed us; which initially wouldn't be a problem but as we continued walking in they did great other customers. Customers of a different race. My boyfriend and I are African American, so it's not hard to pick up when people are choosing not help purely because of what we look like. We even walked past a worker with a terrible bob and clearly botched filer job. Not a peep. I was looking for a vanilla scent that day so we went to the fragrance area. As I was looking around no one asked if we needed help, which once again I said would be okay if the primary reason didn't seem to be because we were black. They asked other people if they need help and completely ignored us. I had to ask a worker who was about 50-60 years old with a blonde bun (which I recommend she loosen because baby it's snatching your edges) . She was not friendly at all and seemed to not understand what I was asking of her. There was another lady with glasses and red/brownish who was also no help. At this point customer service needs to be worked on and maybe teach about discriminatory practices, unless they lack range. Either way it doesn't take rocket science to work at Sephora as shown with your choice of employees; I found the scent I was looking for and ordered it through the actually company online. Next time I'll just go to Ulta Beauty. So yea-1000/1 I would avoid this location at all cost. Sucks when workers make the environment unwelcoming, especially when not one in there gets paid enough to be that rude.

Defective Bottle & Shockingly Poor Service -- Not What You Expect From a Niche House…read more I first discovered Le Labo in Paris in 2024 and purchased Thé Matcha 26. It quickly became a staple in my fragrance rotation. When I returned to the U.S., I was pleased to see there was a boutique at Santana Row, so when my original bottle ran out I purchased another one there in 2025. Not long after, I noticed something unusual: the bottle was draining far faster than my Paris purchase ever had. After inspecting it closely, I discovered micro spider-web cracks throughout the glass bottle (see photos). The fragrance was clearly evaporating through the compromised glass. For context, I've been collecting fragrances for decades -- everything from designer houses like Prada and Giorgio Armani, to niche brands like Chris Collins and Le Labo. I've owned dozens of bottles over the years. I have never once encountered a bottle degrading like this. So today I went back to the boutique with both bottles -- the intact Paris bottle and the cracked Santana Row bottle -- assuming they might offer some reasonable accommodation for what appears to be a manufacturing defect. Instead, I received a curt: "You should have come back earlier." That was the entire response. What makes this particularly ironic is that the counter prominently advertises Le Labo's 20% refill program -- the brand's whole philosophy is built around customers returning with their bottles for refills. Yet when a clearly compromised bottle is brought in, the store suddenly has no interest in helping... or filling the intact bottle from Paris (????) The real shame here is that I was fully prepared to purchase another bottle anyway. Even a modest gesture -- honoring the refill price, waiving sales tax, anything -- would have turned this into a positive experience and kept me coming back. Instead, the interaction felt dismissive and indifferent -- which is particularly jarring in what is supposed to be a luxury fragrance environment. Perfume collecting is a long-term relationship with a house. I would have happily returned every year to refill Thé Matcha 26 and likely purchased other fragrances as well. I would've sang praises and told everyone to shope here. I would've upgraded the size of my bottle, mostly to avoid with this particular defect again. Regardless.. I would have been a bigger source of revenue for Le Labo. But after this experience, I'll take my business to other niche perfumers who actually value repeat customers. The fragrance itself is excellent. The service at this boutique, unfortunately, is not.
