Asked him while he was under there if he would see if he could find out why my vehicle would no longer accept more than two dollars worth of gas at a time. He took care of the transmission and then found a kink in my gas filler hose, straightened it, and attached a new bracket to replace the one that had been broken. These guys go above and beyond. So after a rebuild tranny, and a teardown of the transfer case to check, I got a call telling me the rear main was leaking. I should have went in to look because I had no leaks prior to this visit. Its the integrity of the mechanis that would perform work on a vehicle that was clearly unnecessary thats in question. I had to return the jeep because they did not get the new rear main in right and it did leak. They did another rear main. This was in december 25. Now in April 26, the rear main still has a drip, but I went to change my oil and found they put a bunch what looks like JB Weld around my oil drain plug. After that much $$$ I should not have any issues, yet here I am. I sould have fixed it myself, and now I guess I will.

I was having electrical problems with my Ram 2500 diesel truck. The batteries were draining down…read morefor some reason and after sitting for two days did not have enough charge to start the truck. I had just replaced the batteries less than three months ago. I was directed to Precision Automotive by Accurate Automotive because of the diesel engine. When I brought the truck in Chris listened to my detailed explanation of my problem and decided to first check the condition of both batteries. His employee tested both batteries and both tested at 100%. I then discussed the situation with Chis. He said he would need the truck for two days, and then gave me a detailed explanation of the process that needed to be gone through to find the problem. And told me if I was handy I could do it myself, at least down to finding the circuit causing the problem. Then it would require knowing which parts are on that circuit to find the problem. At this point I did not have the ability to leave the truck for two days and since we were heading back home to Idaho soon, I would have my mechanic there help find the problem. I then tried to pay for the work and information provided but Chris would not allow me to pay him. If your in the Yuma area and information provided the need of service or automotive repairs you should give Precision Automotive, Diesel & Transmission a try. They worked my car many different times doing lots of work it always took three times for them to fix it. Every time you bring your car there you can't leave without them finding more stuff to fix and It never stops being this way. Last time I picked up my car it smelled like a dead body had been in it. Took it to have it cleaned. I'm not one to leave a bad review but felt needed to on this experience.

I took my truck in two months ago to check the transmission and they have had it for two months…read morecontinually finding more things to repair that I didn't need but since I have a warranty they keep getting approval to fix more and more stuff on a truck that's worth $10,000. They have already exceeded that in repairs. They keep pushing me off saying that they are waiting for another shop to fix the heads which are supposedly leaking. I have spoken to several mechanics and they have all said they're taking advantage of the warranty to get paid more than the value of the truck. I just contacted an attorney and hope they can get this unscrupulous company to fix my truck and return it to me.

Got the truck back 5 days later with a $2300 bill And found out he never personally touched the truck Himself. He hired some guy to do the job for him. when I got it home it was leaking 20 times worse then before and now my transmission is making a noise I've never heard before. He claims he's fixed the problem and it's my issue now. taking to a reputable shop now to find out what they did to my perfect truck! Would not suggest ever using him again! He used to be a great mechanic but he says he's too old to be out there working on stuff anymore Himself.

I took my truck in because scanner at autozone store said my torque…read moreconverter clutch(TCC) was stuck in the off position, torque converter clutch solenoid and possible Transmission Control module were malfunctioning (Code 0741). YAT said brake light sensor was malfunctioning and was replaced and I also opted in for a transmission flush. Did that. Transmission light came on again. Went to Autozone, diagnosed the same problem with the torque converter clutch along with same codes. Took truck back to YAT and they said I needed a new transmission control module that was faulty and they could order one that came preprogrammed in a week and had that installed. Within 12 hours transmission light came on again, went to Autozone and had code (0741) again. The brake light sensor and transmission flush bill with labor was $476. The transmission control module and labor was $395 which is being refunded. I still haven't had my transmission related issues resolved.

All shop owner had to say was at least it lasted three hundred miles will not use this shop again.
