Team RAMCO came with a strong recommendation and I can see why! They do not rush anything! They…read moremethodically work through your transmission to find the problem. If it turns out they have to disassemble part of your transmission, they will disassemble the whole transmission to look for any other problems that may be, or are about to exist. This will save a customer in the long run. If there are problems with other parts, that are not an immediate problem, when they become a problem, it is another tear down, another big bill. With Team RAMCO's approach, one bill, one time in the shop everything is fixed and a one year/ twelve thousand mile warranty. Plus they keep you updated all through the process. A great job, by great people, who understand taking care of and putting the customer first! If you go anywhere else, well, you can't say you weren't warned!

Took my Jeep in to have a growl looked into with the transfer case. After inspection, I was advised…read morethe tranny is the culprit. So after a rebuild tranny, and a teardown of the transfer case to check, I got a call telling me the rear main was leaking. I should have went in to look because I had no leaks prior to this visit. Its the integrity of the mechanis that would perform work on a vehicle that was clearly unnecessary thats in question. I had to return the jeep because they did not get the new rear main in right and it did leak. They did another rear main. This was in december 25. Now in April 26, the rear main still has a drip, but I went to change my oil and found they put a bunch what looks like JB Weld around my oil drain plug. After that much $$$ I should not have any issues, yet here I am. I sould have fixed it myself, and now I guess I will.

Got the truck back 5 days later with a $2300 bill And found out he never personally touched the truck Himself. He hired some guy to do the job for him. when I got it home it was leaking 20 times worse then before and now my transmission is making a noise I've never heard before. He claims he's fixed the problem and it's my issue now. taking to a reputable shop now to find out what they did to my perfect truck! Would not suggest ever using him again! He used to be a great mechanic but he says he's too old to be out there working on stuff anymore Himself.

YAT came highly recommended. I took my truck in because scanner at autozone store said my torque…read moreconverter clutch(TCC) was stuck in the off position, torque converter clutch solenoid and possible Transmission Control module were malfunctioning (Code 0741). YAT said brake light sensor was malfunctioning and was replaced and I also opted in for a transmission flush. Did that. Transmission light came on again. Went to Autozone, diagnosed the same problem with the torque converter clutch along with same codes. Took truck back to YAT and they said I needed a new transmission control module that was faulty and they could order one that came preprogrammed in a week and had that installed. Within 12 hours transmission light came on again, went to Autozone and had code (0741) again. The brake light sensor and transmission flush bill with labor was $476. The transmission control module and labor was $395 which is being refunded. I still haven't had my transmission related issues resolved.
