From the comfy couch to the big welcome from Jake the Lab (make sure to play some catch with him), you feel as if you have friends taking care of your treasured ride. I brought my '05 Harley in to get new bars, cables, and add some takeoffs from a friend on to my bike. Tom and Brian did their best to explain everything, work efficiently, and try to save me some money in the long run. Most shops want you to buy the most expensive item, then juice you on the hourly labor, but not here. They do their best to get you what you need, and get you rolling. They also do an AMAZING job with custom fab work, they build bikes from scratch (as opposed to certain "custom" shops who just ASSEMBLE bikes), and have a great in house paint guy. Swing by one of their (usually) monthly garage parties, where people swap parts, they have vendors, and...EVERY bikers' favorite...FREE FOOD AND BEER! It is a great chance to shoot the bull and get ideas and estimates if you want. If you want a glitzy, glamorous shop that will smile to your face, and overcharge you for shoddy work, look elsewhere. If you want a REAL biker shop who will treat you like family and take care of your bike as if it was theirs, then ride over to Art in Motion...and say hey to Jake!

these gentlemen truly saved my life. i was heading home from a solo trip to tampa when my low tire…read morepressure light came on. i stopped at a gas station in orlando, only to realize my tire was completely flat and of course, i didn't have a spare and had no clue how to change it. i quickly searched for the nearest tire shop and found this place just down the road. holding my breath, i drove over and just hoped i'd make it there safely. it was a sunday afternoon, so i honestly wasn't expecting anyone to even be open. i felt so lucky and relieved when i saw they were. as soon as i pulled in, one of the workers came right over and asked what i needed. i explained the situation and he immediately jumped into action. at one point, i actually told him the wrong tire by accident--he had already lifted the car and was getting ready to remove it, and when i realized my mistake, i apologized. without hesitation or any attitude, he adjusted everything, and went straight to work on the correct tire like it was no big deal. he was so kind and patient the entire time. within 30 minutes, i had a tire on my car and was back on the road. i've never seen anyone move that quickly, especially in the florida heat. these men work hard and deserve so much credit for what they do. i had been struggling at the gas station earlier trying to use the air machine (don't judge me, i'm a young woman with no tire experience) i could barely handle 15 minutes in the heat before i was red-faced and dripping sweat. i truly can't imagine doing what they do all day in that sun. and mind you, when i pulled in, one of them had just finished helping another customer and jumped straight into helping me without even a moment to breathe. they probably get little to no breaks, and when you're sitting comfortably at your 9 to 5 desk job leaving a nasty yelp review, maybe stop and think about how easy your day is compared to the physical labor these men do daily. i also saw a few people complaining about them not being open later on sundays, but the fact that they're open at all on a sunday is generous. they're open every single day from 8 am to 7 pm, and on sundays until 5 pm. that's more than reasonable. i know i can't apologize for ungrateful people, but i really do hope they get the appreciation and respect they deserve. i know there are some negative reviews here, but my experience was completely different. maybe they've brought in new staff or just had an off day in the past, but everyone who helped me was respectful, professional, and genuinely wanted to make sure i was okay. nothing about it felt like a scam at all. the tire they had available was used and not in perfect condition, but it got me home safely and only cost around $50. for that price and the peace of mind i had, i was beyond grateful. please support them if you're ever in a bind or need tire service. they really showed up for me when i needed help most, and they 100 percent deserve your business!!!
