The guidelines require a visual inspection, and it was visually obvious that parts of the tank were covered by an RV pad, yet the inspector missed it entirely. What I paid a professional to catch ended up costing me tens of thousands of dollars in a major county violation and repairs. When I asked the company for their E&O insurance information to resolve it, they refused. Instead, they immediately put their lawyer on me, threatening me with legal fees to try to scare me away before even reviewing the facts. This company does not do a thorough investigation and relies on legal intimidation when they make a mistake. Beware.

Hes very technical and goes through every part of the house, exterior and interior in order to draw the best conclusion on the state of the property. After the inspection, he will give you a highlight of any major callouts, which was crucial for me as I am buying an older home. On top of that, if you are at the property he will quickly put up a slide-by-slide visual presentation of his findings, so you get a general idea of what to expect before he delivers you the report (which is given either that day or the next morning, very fast turn around - our report was given to us within 4 hours of the inspection, which ended at 6 PM). The inspection included running all appliances and equipment, visual inspection of all accessible areas including attic and grounds, drone inspection of the roof and thermal imaging. I was present at the time of inspection and the inspector, Steve McCaddon, took time to discuss at length any apprehensions I had about the home. Texas Inspection also sub-contracted a septic inspector, Art Byrd who not only provided an inspection of the system but also provided a comprehensive set of guidelines to maximize the life of the septic. All of this was done at a 30% savings over the runner up. I will definitely use them the next time I am considering buying a home.
