My realtor referred me to Darin Noles and two other home inspectors. After speaking to all three (and a few more that I found online), my choice was obvious - Darin. I was very impressed when Darin described his background and work method. He has a ton of experience in construction and inspection which goes back to his childhood. Out of all the inspectors I spoke to, he was the only one who said that he likes to meet with clients after the inspection to review the results. As first time home buyers without any construction experience, it would be difficult to understand the issues with the house without Darin's explanations. Besides doing a inspection, Darin took pictures of the serial numbers for the home equipment in case we need it in the future (if it gets rusted or scratches away). He does little things that show that he genuinely cares. Most importantly, his construction experience enables him to write a report in a way that the builder will accept the requests. Absolutely incredible inspection company, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a list that labeled them one of the best in Houston (there isn't an official list but there should be). I've never reviewed anything so quickly but I was that impressed with the service provided. Darin Noles is probably one of the most detailed oriented, organized working professionals I've ever met. Hes very technical and goes through every part of the house, exterior and interior in order to draw the best conclusion on the state of the property. After the inspection, he will give you a highlight of any major callouts, which was crucial for me as I am buying an older home. On top of that, if you are at the property he will quickly put up a slide-by-slide visual presentation of his findings, so you get a general idea of what to expect before he delivers you the report (which is given either that day or the next morning, very fast turn around - our report was given to us within 4 hours of the inspection, which ended at 6 PM). If you want an inspector who is: 1) Extremely detailed oriented and hard working 2) A true Professional, excellent to work with 3) Cares about their clients and understands your needs 4) Competitively priced 5) Provides a very quick turn around on the completion of the report This is it, you've found him, just book a date and get it done. My realtor referred me to Noles Inspections and when I looked at his website I was fearful of what the costs would be. Thermal Imaging, drone etc...I thought, "holy crap this is going to be a lot!" But after speaking with Darin and getting an estimate (based on sq ft) it was very reasonable and I might add, less than what I paid for in 2012 for a more basic inspection. Darin takes the time to go through every detail when inspecting your home and even goes through all the pictures he took with you after he's done. Great home inspection!! It was our first home to build and first inspection to do...Darrin and his wife Kase talked to us prior to inspection on the phone and also about the details that they found during inspection by having a slide show on a projector in our living room. The report was given to us the same day and we forwarded it to the builder who corrected all that was found. The builder said he was impressed with the report and if he had to give a grade, it would be an A for this company...that they were very thorough. Overall- great and easy inspection with great communication and technology. Also was $200 cheaper than who we were originally scheduled with. Great price with great people! read more

We are extremely satisfied with Noles Inspections. Darin was very patient and informative throughout the process. When Darin inspected the house the first time, the gas was off and he was not able to do a complete inspection. He gave us an initial summary report and a detailed report from his first visit. He let us know that once the gas is turned back on he will return to continue inspecting the house no charge. There were some problems/miscommunications with the gas company when they said they will turn it on, but when Darin arrives it was not (this happened multiple of times). He never once complain about the problem, and he always had a positive attitude when we called him. When the gas was finally on, Darin continued his inspection and submitted a summary and detailed report again. We greatly appreciated his time and patience with the whole process, but also for the very detailed report. We weren't able to meet with him in person due to our schedule, but we felt like we didn't miss anything. We definitely recommend Darin for home inspections. read more

My real estate agent gave me a list of inspectors to call to get prices/schedules. After calling them all and getting reffered from some I choose Noles inspection. Had great customer service/phone conversaion and a good website to goto. After speaking with the representative and browsing their website. I opted to go ahead with Noles and his services. I higly suggest calling in advance to schedule something versus last minute deadlines, but Darin and the builder were patient and able to accomdate best as possible. Able to communciate with Darin via email/text/phone call was great. I had a phase II inspection done and very satisfied with the results/reports. Prices are very fair and he was able to make adjustment to prices as apprioarte for certian sitations. Has a legit professional work van/truck. Has a professional uniform, appearance and demeanor. I will be calling for his services again once we have the closing walkthrough. I am also referring him to other folks if they need home inspections, home build inspections. I wished I had Darin for my phase 1 of the house build. Excellent service and quality. Darin is a really nice guy. He was very thorough in his inspection as well as the inspection report. He answered all our questions during the inspection. He gave us a presentation in the end to walk us through the issues and helped us prioritize the problems and gave us the report the same evening. He is also very tech savvy. He came back to reinspect the house, after the builder had performed repairs, for a nominal fee to ensure that the repairs were made correctly. He is worth every cent of his fee.
