Absolutely incredible inspection company, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a list that labeled them one of the best in Houston (there isn't an official list but there should be). I've never reviewed anything so quickly but I was that impressed with the service provided. Darin Noles is probably one of the most detailed oriented, organized working professionals I've ever met. Hes very technical and goes through every part of the house, exterior and interior in order to draw the best conclusion on the state of the property. After the inspection, he will give you a highlight of any major callouts, which was crucial for me as I am buying an older home. On top of that, if you are at the property he will quickly put up a slide-by-slide visual presentation of his findings, so you get a general idea of what to expect before he delivers you the report (which is given either that day or the next morning, very fast turn around - our report was given to us within 4 hours of the inspection, which ended at 6 PM). If you want an inspector who is: 1) Extremely detailed oriented and hard working 2) A true Professional, excellent to work with 3) Cares about their clients and understands your needs 4) Competitively priced 5) Provides a very quick turn around on the completion of the report This is it, you've found him, just book a date and get it done. It's one of the most frustrating parts of buying a home new or old, and after all the back and forth you want to know for sure that its the house you want. Great service, will use them again and highly recommend them to anyone. read more

I chose Noles Inspections based on all the great reviews here on Yelp. Darin was able to do the inspection the next day and the report was very detailed and thorough. I highly recommend Noles Inspections and I would like to thank Darin again for doing a great job. This company definitely lives up to its Yelp reputation so if you need a good inspection quickly, look no further! read more

Very good service. First, Darin responded to my request quickly. After the inspection, he explained everything in ways I could understand and let me know all the issues he found can be repaired. The report was sent less than 24 hours later and was very thorough. I was able to send it to the HOA for repair requests. I also used it to request repairs from the seller. Give him a call! read more

My realtor referred me to Darin Noles and two other home inspectors. After speaking to all three (and a few more that I found online), my choice was obvious - Darin. I was very impressed when Darin described his background and work method. He has a ton of experience in construction and inspection which goes back to his childhood. Out of all the inspectors I spoke to, he was the only one who said that he likes to meet with clients after the inspection to review the results. As first time home buyers without any construction experience, it would be difficult to understand the issues with the house without Darin's explanations. Besides doing a inspection, Darin took pictures of the serial numbers for the home equipment in case we need it in the future (if it gets rusted or scratches away). He does little things that show that he genuinely cares. Most importantly, his construction experience enables him to write a report in a way that the builder will accept the requests. Overall, wonderful experience! We will be calling him again when we are ready for our 1 year inspection, and he'll be the first person we recommend to our family and friends! read more

Just used them to look at a house and they were great. They were on time, friendly and took the time to explain what the report meant. Use them! read more

My previous inspector is no longer in the business so I started looking through Yelp for a new one. I ended up choosing Darin - I'm so glad I did. He was able to complete an inspection and mold report on a prospective rental property in an extremely timely manner. His report was thorough and I was able to use the Issues Summary to reduce the asking price from the Seller! I will definitely be using Noles Inspections in the future for all my inspection and mold report related needs. read more

My realtor referred me to Noles Inspections and when I looked at his website I was fearful of what the costs would be. Thermal Imaging, drone etc...I thought, "holy crap this is going to be a lot!" But after speaking with Darin and getting an estimate (based on sq ft) it was very reasonable and I might add, less than what I paid for in 2012 for a more basic inspection. Darin takes the time to go through every detail when inspecting your home and even goes through all the pictures he took with you after he's done. The thermal imaging helps detect leaks and other hidden hazards. So invaluable!! Incredibly responsive and pays great attention to detail. read more

Best professional I have ever worked with! Darin & Case are awesome in so many ways! Most importantly the inspection performed by Darin is superb! If you're buying a home - you want to make sure it's not going to cause you a headache later - trust Noles Inspections for a comprehensive, detailed, timely report of everything! Darin is also very easy to work with and he has a great personality! Have your home inspected by Noles Inspections. I promise you won't regret it (even if perhaps the builder/seller does - bc Darin won't miss a thing to protect you!) read more

The family team of inspectors provided the thoroughest inspection of a property my wife and I were considering and even provided an 80 page report the same night. Unfortunately 80 pages meant many issues with the property but we are glad nevertheless to have selected Noles to uncover the many hidden costs that we would have faced if we have proceeded with the purchase. The most important characteristic in any relationship is honesty. We had no worries in the quality of Noles's work while they were inspecting. They will provide you their honest opinion in a timely manner so you will not have any regrets in the future. We will keep them in mind should another opportunity arise. Thank you again. read more

Give this top notch inspector a call. Darin was so thorough, that the sellers had no choice but to include a substantial allowance for repairs. He took his time, and had all the gadgets. The report was promised by the next time, and was in my inbox before I even got home that night. I should honestly have him give the place a 'once-over' every other year to stay on top of things. read more

I've never written a review on Yelp before, but Darin @ Noles Inspections definitely deserves one! We are first time home owners and honestly this whole home buying process has been very overwhelming. I was amazed at all the minor and major issues that Darin was able to find with the house DESPITE it already have been inspected by the builder's inspectors. He was so thorough and also so patient in explaining everything to me once he was done. I don't know what we would have done without you, Darin. Thank you so much!!! read more

Great home inspection!! It was our first home to build and first inspection to do...Darrin and his wife Kase talked to us prior to inspection on the phone and also about the details that they found during inspection by having a slide show on a projector in our living room. The report was given to us the same day and we forwarded it to the builder who corrected all that was found. The builder said he was impressed with the report and if he had to give a grade, it would be an A for this company...that they were very thorough. Overall- great and easy inspection with great communication and technology. Also was $200 cheaper than who we were originally scheduled with. Great price with great people! read more

Excellent service! Everything was great. Darin was early and didn't waste any time. He was enthusiastic, THOROUGH and very well-informed. He uses some high-tech equipment that allowed for a very visual and easy-to-understand report. He doesnt just tell you there is a problem, he shows you! Full disclosure...this is my first experience needing a home inspection and i was very nervous about getting ripped off. I chose Noles after doing some research on Darin's certifications and even did a criminal background check. I could not be happier with my experience and inspector! read more

Prompt, professional and thorough at a competitive price. Great website and quick to respond and follow-up on information request. Very thorough in the inspection and encouraged me to look around and ask questions as he completed the process, plus gave a slide show at the end to summarize his findings. And received the complete report with summary of deficiencies that evening; again thorough and pointed out the specifics of what we need to do now, and what to look for in the future. Impressed, and would use this service again and recommend it to others. read more

Darin REALLY knows his stuff. He came to a home we were considering buying, and using the latest technology, spent 4 hours to make sure he covered every inch and noted all important details. His report was incredibly helpful in guiding us on this possible purchase. Also, he and Case Noles make a great team: fair price, quick responses, very professional and good communication. I can confidently recommend this guy if you need an inspection. read more

Extremely nice man and eager to get right to the point and not waste any of your time. Makes sure to inspect every inch of your home from the inside out. Couldn't have requested a better man for the job. Highly recommend. read more

Darin is an excellent inspector. The time and effort he put into the reports shows. The reports were very details and saved me $$$ in the long run. He saved us from having a very shoddy roof job and also helped us to get our framing done right. His efforts assisted us to keep the builders construction supe and contractors honest. We feel like we have a much better home because we hired him. If you are looking for a great inspector, you have found one. He offers 3 inspections that I feel were worth every penny. We took advantage of the slab inspection, framing inspection and the final inspection. Each and every report included pictures along with the discrepancy that was found. Again GREAT JOB DARIN!!!!! read more

I normally don't leave any ratings or feedbacks but this family/business has gone above and beyond to aid and accommodate me in my new buildout. Especially going out of their ways to fit me in the schedule on a short notice (on a Sunday). Darin's work is thorough and it reflects it in his reports he sends you within 24 hrs. Definitely worth giving a call and highly recommended. read more

Darin Noles is absolutely fabulous. He and his wife are very thorough inspectors. He has many years of experience in home building so I trust his conclusions and opinions on the home. They use high tech technology and even provide a slide show at the end of the inspection to display and talk about the findings. I had to use them twice, for two different homes and both were great experiences. If I every need a home inspection again in the future I will definitely contact them again. Two thumbs up! read more

Very professional and thorough. Found things I wouldn't have even looked for. I would definitely recommend Darin's services! In fact, I'm going to use him to re-inspect my new home after the builder says they've completed the list he created!! Thank you, Darin!! read more

We are extremely satisfied with Noles Inspections. Darin was very patient and informative throughout the process. When Darin inspected the house the first time, the gas was off and he was not able to do a complete inspection. He gave us an initial summary report and a detailed report from his first visit. He let us know that once the gas is turned back on he will return to continue inspecting the house no charge. There were some problems/miscommunications with the gas company when they said they will turn it on, but when Darin arrives it was not (this happened multiple of times). He never once complain about the problem, and he always had a positive attitude when we called him. When the gas was finally on, Darin continued his inspection and submitted a summary and detailed report again. We greatly appreciated his time and patience with the whole process, but also for the very detailed report. We weren't able to meet with him in person due to our schedule, but we felt like we didn't miss anything. We definitely recommend Darin for home inspections. read more

My real estate agent gave me a list of inspectors to call to get prices/schedules. After calling them all and getting reffered from some I choose Noles inspection. Had great customer service/phone conversaion and a good website to goto. After speaking with the representative and browsing their website. I opted to go ahead with Noles and his services. I higly suggest calling in advance to schedule something versus last minute deadlines, but Darin and the builder were patient and able to accomdate best as possible. Able to communciate with Darin via email/text/phone call was great. I had a phase II inspection done and very satisfied with the results/reports. Prices are very fair and he was able to make adjustment to prices as apprioarte for certian sitations. Has a legit professional work van/truck. Has a professional uniform, appearance and demeanor. I will be calling for his services again once we have the closing walkthrough. I am also referring him to other folks if they need home inspections, home build inspections. I wished I had Darin for my phase 1 of the house build. This is my first time working with an inspector and I will probably be calling for Darin for other homes/properities/families and friends if they are looking for one. read more

Professional, polite and thorough. Would highly recommend Noles Inspection. And would hire them again in the future. My husband and I were very impressed with the highly detailed inspection report we received and really enjoyed that they took the time after the inspection to show us some inpection photos on the projector. Very pleased with the service. read more

Just recently used Noles Inspections, and not only were they quick to get an appointment scheduled, but the Darin's inspection report was unbelievably thorough. My experienced mortgage broker was also very impressed with the detailed report. He was quite helpful with all of his explanations on everything that he found. I will definitely use them for future needs. read more

Excellent service and quality. Darin is a really nice guy. He was very thorough in his inspection as well as the inspection report. He answered all our questions during the inspection. He gave us a presentation in the end to walk us through the issues and helped us prioritize the problems and gave us the report the same evening. He is also very tech savvy. He came back to reinspect the house, after the builder had performed repairs, for a nominal fee to ensure that the repairs were made correctly. He is worth every cent of his fee. I will definitely use his service again and recommend him to others. read more

Ok Darin really know his stuff. I was impressed with his state of the art equipment that he used on the inspection. He thoroughly inspected every inch of the house and discovered the major and minor issues that needed to be addressed. He zip-leveled the floor to check for foundation issues, which my previous inspector didn't do. Darin also used a thermal imaging device to detect leaks. This guy really takes pride in his craft. His presentation at the end was very informative. read more
