It was just after Halloween, so there were one section of marked down fall and Halloween decorations. Then it was aisles upon aisles of Christmas ornaments, lights, trees, stocking and any decoration you could imagine. I loved how organized everything was, each section by product ..even down to the color. Walking around the store was interesting, from the different art sections, frames to the many wooden signs. (seemed they had a sign for everyone) I needed some help finding the red buckets online, a nice salesman walked be right over to them. Really to have the extra service. Seemed like everything was a marked at a good price. I will have to come back to check out all the different seasonal items.

Recently I came in to look at their selection of blind boxes and needohs. I was so surprised to see how many they had! My sister got me a Sonny Angel for Christmas from here and I was so excited! I found out through the Sonny Angel app that they are the only listened retailer of Sonny Angels and Smitskis so I will definitely be back again for them in the future! Yet, I do have to say that their Sonny Angels are a bit pricey.

My boyfriend and I have a very large collection of board games (a few hundred) and so naturally we spend a lot of time here. Not only is the selection of games huge (there has only been one time when they have not had an expansion I was looking for), but the used game section is also nothing to take for granted! Board games are expensive, especially new ones. I can't tell you how many of the hundreds of games we own were snagged from the used section at a discounted price in new or like new condition. I can't speak for the RPG game nights hosted here, but people always look like they're having fun.

I was in there today because I needed a new traction tire for my train. The kid working the front…read moreend check the train on their track to confirm it was slipping off as I mentioned. He then went into their little back room/shop area to grab the traction tire. He started working on it and never told me there would be a fee. I am very able to replace the tire myself. This was very wrong of them, poor business practice and violates NYS and Federal law. I stated to the kid who conducted the work that I wished he would have told me there would be a charge, to which he said, sorry. I emailed a complaint to the business, filed a complained to the FTC, NYS, and my credit card. This was simply poor business behavior. Very disappointed.

Just Games is located in a large strip plaza in Penfield, and can be a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area (i.e. me). However, once inside, it feels like you've left the hustle and bustle of the plaza behind. The manager (owner?) of the store was super nice and showed me a few things in the store, gave me their normal schedule of events, and made sure to introduce himself and get my name as well. I purchased some sleeves for one of my games and signed up for their free customer rewards program. As well as having your normal Magic the Gathering cards and supplies, the store boasts a large collection of tabletop games and accessories. Newer titles were on the shelf as well as plenty of expansions and other goodies. The store itself has a large collection of games that customers are welcome to open up and play while in the shop, and if desired, rented out for a small fee. This was probably the highlight of my visit. I tried out a couple new games and made mental notes of the games I wanted to come back and play/rent. Despite living about 75 miles away, I fully plan on taking a trek back out here to join a game night and meet some new people, learn new games, and enjoy what this shop has to offer.

I've been a customer and player at Just Games for a few years and I highly recommend it. They do pre-release events at Nox bar and it is so unique. The ownership is inclusive and cares so much about their business. It's wonderful visiting the shop because you see how passionate they are about table top gaming.
