I'm pretty sure this is a family run place and the guys working there seem to know most of their customers by name and always stop to chat with everybody who comes in. Nobody wants to go to a mechanic, but when it has to happen, these guys are a solid choice.

My brother saved me from being sold a new alternator by giving me a meter to show when the battery was receiving a charge...the alternator WAS charging the battery. The issue was simply resolved by a friend. A $9.99 part which separated the connection between the car and the battery. I can't believe that I spent over a thousand dollars and still the problem was not fixed. It is difficult to accept that I could have resolved the problem with a ten dollar fix. It pays to ask around and do not blindly trust your mechanic to do the right thing. They didn't even diagnose the problem correctly. Be cautious; don't accept the 60 second diagnosis you're given: especially when it concerns electrical issues.

I Apparently this guy's name is Barry based on google searches. This has all the hallmarks of a scam. Stay far away from this guy
