They always identify the specific problem that I'm there for and work to find a solution with a combination of different therapies. One massage here and I was so thankful of every other massage therapy visits that I've ever had. The massage room was the worst! Freaking rock music played though out the whole session. If that wasn't bad enough the therapist ran his mouth the whole time. I don't want to talk about my job, my partner's job...where am I going for thanksgiving...I want to disconnect The before mentioned was just the ambiance, or the lack there of. The message itself was torturous. I'm normally disappointed when my massage is over. This time it was like how long do I have to endure this agony? I've been seeing Dr. Heather Kinney (formerly Moser) for chronic pain in my back, shoulder, and neck. She is fantastic. I came to PSCC feeling frustrated and hopeless with pain and tightness that set in my senior year of college and never left - mostly due to a desk job where I use a computer 8+ hours a day. At PSCC I've received a variety of treatments, including tool-assisted massage, kinesio tape (amazing stuff), adjustments, and at-home streatching and excercise recommendations. I had been using the massage therapist at Performance and Spine for the past 6 months or so. When I received my appointment reminder, the name was changed. Turned out my therapist had moved on. When I arrived, the new person did a good job but when I checked out, my costs had doubled. When I asked about it, they informed me that the individual wasn't properly licensed for my health insurance. Sure would have liked to know that ahead of time! I won't return. I had a chiropractic related injury from an entirely different clinic, to where I could hardly walk at times. They were unable to "fix" what they had done to me, so I obviously quit going to them. But I was in so much pain and the weeks were ticking by with no change. My husband kept insisting that I go see his chiropractor(s) Dr. Kinney, but I put it off because I was scared to receive any more chiropractic adjustments at this point. Finally I gave in, and paid them a visit. Let me tell you, my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! After the 2nd session, I was walking with significantly less pain than I had in over a month, and by the 3rd and 4th sessions I was pain free. I will never go anywhere else! read more

Old school in their approach, meaning they utilize heating pads and mild massage to prep for the adjustment, which may be fine for most common adjustments, but perhaps not for more serious issues. Although I've utilized their services only a few times, I've had a positive experience here when it comes to chiropractic treatment. Heather immediately put me at ease the first time I met her and never made me feel like a "bad patient" upon return visits when I didn't always follow through on all her recommendations (I tried, but you know, life gets busy...sigh...).
