His techniques focus on specific areas that need adjustment rather than the more general "head wrench" and "back crunching" approach that many chiropractors use. Dr. Locke is outstanding! I first saw him about three years ago and he resolved a twisted vertebrae for me. I had initially gone to see my General Practitioner and she gave me a shot of steroids and sent me on my way. The next day I was in extreme pain and made an appointment with Dr. Locke. He took X-Rays of my back and showed me the messed up vertebrae. He put together a treatment plan and went to work. After a few weeks of a combination of adjustments and PT I was fixed! Recently I had to go back and after an MRI (which the GP would not do) it was discovered that I had a herniated disk. Again, with adjustments and PT, I see the light at the end of the tunnel, awesome! I have recommended a couple of people to him and they say the same. I have been going to doctor Locke for 5 years. I go to doctor Locke for his attention to detail and professional manor. I am not normally a person who believes or wants to go to the chiropractor. But one day at work I tweaked my neck so bad I could turn my head. I went to doctor Locke and he immediately got me scheduled, and had my neck moving again after one treatment so I wasn't locked in one spot. I have been a patient of Dr. Dawson's for 11 years now and would not trust my back to any other chiro or doctor. I live in SE PDX and this office is not convenient or close to me at all but it is always worth the drive to get excellent treatment in a comfortable, family-like environment. Dr. Dawson and his staff are very attentive and enthusiastic and scheduling is always extremely flexible. Dr Locke and his staff have been incredibly attentive. A while ago I walked into Dr Locke's office barely walking. Within 3 weeks I was out of pain and just doing maintenance appointments. Dr Locke takes the time and listens to your symptoms, will take X-rays if needed and then strategizes a plan with you. He is skillful and gentle and clearly wants the best for all his patients. I had been going to Dr. Dawson for the last couple years. My last experience was horrible (few months ago I was there). He rushed his treatment because I was the last patient of the day and put me in more pain then what I came in with. My normal one or two adjustments turned into 5. I still never felt like he did the correct work and always pushed for the extra treatments to charge more. This office now over books and the longer waits in the waiting rooms doesn't do the justice but to pump the most money a day instead of spending time and doing the proper treatments. He also doesn't remember you each time you come in. I had very specific issues and they constantly were wanting to treat a different part of the body I didn't need treating. I refuse to go back and would hope CHP group and Kaiser would look into this. I have recently moved to a different chiropractor in wilsonville who is by far 100% better. No waiting more one on one and they remember you even after your first treatment. I wasn't pushed for extra treatments like Dr. Dawson requested. I was told it wasn't needed. So in the last couple weeks Dr. Dawson has tried contacting me because he doesn't like my yelp review and has asked for me to remove it or change it. Well I will change it now. So in my previous review I said I had up to five visits for him to fix my pain. He has informed me I was only seen three times. Okay my mistake. Let me be more clear of my pain. Which wasn't caused but his saying normal adjustments. I had a displaced rib in my back which cause a pain at a rating of an 8 out of 10. My normal adjustment to have the rib adjusted and feel painless would normally take three or four visits buy after placing it back into place would ease the pain down to almost nothing. Then yes the normal pain of an adjustment would apply but quickly subside. But in this case of this visit I felt I was rushed through the visit and the adjustment pain went to a 10 of 10. Sever pain where I couldn't stand straight up. When I went back in two days later he adjusted me properly but was so irritated about how my experience was and how his office changed so much. I refused to return seeking out a new chiropractor. I have reduced my star rating because of the constant contacts from Dr. Dawson wanting me to change or remove my review. Sorry I will not remove my review. I have not been back to this office and changes may have been made if not maybe this office should make improvements on patient care and not money. Looking at the business reviews there isn't anymore than six reviews which is half and half on satisfaction from this office. Nothing I see with any new reviews would make me want to go back to the office or change or remove my post. I hope this review helps those looking for a chiropractor if you are interested in a great lady with an awesome staff please message me and I will give you the name and location of where I currently go for adjustments when needed and a massage that is great. read more

Stay as far away as possible from these people!! They charge your insurance for treatments not received. They also fraudulently send an $80 bill to collections saying you owe $1700 dollars. Staff overturn is outrageous also read more

I've been here four times. They have a traction table that is mild and relaxing, body loosening. Nick Locke is a very knowledgeable dr who doesn't over treat and is very fair to people on Medicare. I had a pretty painful neck injury, and right off the bat he wanted to avoid big adjustments due to already bulging disk and 2 impinged joints. He treated it carefully and effectively. The doctor takes his sweet time getting to you and the lobby is usually crowded, on top of that the staff is not friendly at all and you can hear them talk smack about you. So rude and unprofessional. When I first started seeing Dr. Locke I told him that it was very important to me for him to be on time and he acknowledged that. Yet every single time I have been there they run 30 minutes late! This morning I went there, and left after 20 minutes because I was so aggravated. They told me that traffic is bad (welcome to Portland, this is nothing new) and that people were trying to get in early.
