We haven't been here for a minute, we know the owner very sweet man . But today that we went in for lunch the lady working there was so rude didn't greet us and with this angry look. Ok so the food was ok tamales were steamed like a few days very dry and dark in color. Also want to mention that a elderly man went in there she totally ignored him never gave him eye contact and when his order was ready she tells him here is your to go , and I clearly heard him say well I guess never gave him a chance to sit and eat. I have a picture how she was the whole time on her phone.

This place is pretty close to perfect! We went on a Saturday afternoon and hardly anyone was there. The customer service wasn't all that fast considering we were one of the only people there but the food made up for it. We ordered the combo plate with a tamale, tostada, chile relleno and an enchilada. The caldo de queso and a quesadilla. I know, it was a lot of food for 2 people. But everything was really good. The beans and rice were really good to start off. The quesadilla was huge and had so much cheese. The red sauce on the enchilada was sooo good, it had that warm chile flavor without being spicy. The red chile beef tamale was one of the best I've ever had. Just overall a really good Mexican food experience. Can't wait to go back!

Our family loved your tamales!!! A new Christmas tradition for us. Beef was the hands down favorite. Utterly Delicious!!

I have all of these southside Mexican restaurants bookmarked because I am a self-proclaimed Chilaquiles Aficionado. I am on the hunt for the best authentic Mexican breakfast in town and Perfecto's is where we landed this past weekend. Let me start by saying, the place literally right down the block that has great ratings (and more reviews), was nowhere near as good as Perfecto's. This place is located in a strip mall, but it is not hard to find. We landed here at about 9 in the morning and the place was pretty busy. It is small -- I think there were 12-14 - 4 seater tables. It was very clean inside and the two gals that were working were very welcoming and friendly. You get a little bowl of salsa and fresh (yes fresh, unlike the ones we had last weekend at the other place) while you wait to order/for your food. I ordered... you guessed it... Chilaquiles! My Hubs ordered the Huevos Rancheros and a bowl of the red Menudo. My Chilaquiles were great, and I am finding everyone seems to do them differently so I am trying not to be too judgy outside of taste. These had the cheese melted in them (vs. on top) and were really good. I grilled the Hubs on his food because I told him I was "yelping this stuff". He said the Menudo was pretty good (comes with the traditional toasted bread, cilantro and onions) and tasty. He would not go beyond that -- he is Hispanic and I believe he rates all Menudo against that of one of his sisters who makes it with tons of red chile which he loves and compares everyone elses to. That said a "pretty good" is saying a lot. Now, he was not as impressed with the Huevos Rancheros. He described them as not having enough sauce and the tortillas should have been soft and not tostada shells. I did think they looked a little different than what I thought they normally looked like but maybe it is like Chilaquiles and everyone does them a little different? Bottom line, service was super attentive and great... this place is a little neighborhood jewel which is evident by the steady stream of regulars coming in. The food was tasty as well, I would totally return for the Chilaquiles.

Their pandemic hours are 10am - 3pm Monday through Saturday. I don't know what that has to do with the pandemic but I'm probably just mad cause I can't get my fix during those hours.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

Spacious patio area, with cool lights, umbrellas, and many tables. If you have a choice and it isn't too hot, sit outside. The food is stellar! The rest of the table (3 more) ordered the green chicken enchiladas. They didn't need to rave about it: their plates were completely clean at the end of the meal! We ordered Tamarindo and Horchata drinks between us, and frankly, the Tamarindo is some of the best I've ever had anywhere. Service can be a little slow, especially if they're busy. But we didn't really mind. It was a nice experience.

Their back patio looks super cute for warmer nights and the food was great. Little bit of a wait but the friendly servers got us sat as soon as possible at 7pm Saturday. Salsa and chips were tasty, the carne asada was excellent. The corn tortillas are thick and perfectly charred. The green enchiladas were good too. The sauce was thicker than usual, but that's probably the Native fusion instead of being just Mexican enchiladas. So glad we stopped in, we ate every bite. Forgot to take a picture until I was half through!

Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
