Steve and Jonny came back within two weeks with drafts in line with the vision we shared. They offered options, made adjustments based on budget and preferences and thoroughly explained what the process would look like. They had final plans to us within weeks and permits soon after. Jonny called, emailed and met us at the project site regularly and kept us well informed. He and Steve are current around design trends to provide recommendations - styles, colors, approaches, sources, etc. We didn't engage an Architect or Designer for a single stage. The crew is extremely professional. They're well informed and aligned around timelines, next steps and responsibilities, which kept us on schedule and without surprises. Be it Foreman, Plumber, Electrician, Painters, etc., they took pride in their work and left an immaculate job site at the end of the day. Despite the commotion a large project can create, our neighbors appreciated Stephano Homes' courtesy and professionalism. Months later we walked back into a new home that was exactly what we hoped for. The design is well thought out and the craftsmanship top notch. As we've settled in, the quality of work hasn't lost it's luster. As more remodels similar to ours pop up in the neighborhood, we notice the things I mention. We didn't think of many of them going into the project, but recognized and appreciated them throughout. Seeing projects that lack these qualities reminds us of how fortunate we were to have made the right decision. Would absolutely recommend Stephano Homes for projects big or small. We would make the same decision again in a heartbeat.

We didn't have to use an architect, as Steve did a beautiful design for our remodeled bedroom, walk-in closet and large bathroom. Steve, who has excellent taste, helped us choose the tiles, the fixtures, the granite and the style and color for our built-ins. We love the entry to the Master bedroom suite with the built-in bookshelves and cabinets that house our home entertainment electronics. Our remodel was a bit tricky as they had to move two weight-bearing walls, and move the plumbing quite a distance through concrete slab. Steve's crew did all of the work from the demolition and framing to the plumbing, electrical, tile work, painting and finish work. The workmanship is top-notch. What I really appreciated is the creative problem-solving, and the willingness to work with us to get things exactly how we wanted the remodel. This is the second remodel project that we've done with Stephano Homes and Classic Kitchens (same owner). Each project exceeded our expectations. Steve runs a tight ship. Projects start on time, end on time and keep to budget. We loved Tim, our foreman who did all the carpentry, the plumbing and the excellent finish work. The crew cleans up at the end of each day and are true professionals. Everyone is polite and client-service oriented. Steve is a trustworthy and likeable guy who truly listens to his clients. I recommend Stephano Homes without reservation.

Their work was exceptional from start to finish and truly exceeded our expectations. Wilman is meticulous, detail-oriented, and has a great eye for design. He was proactive throughout the project--flagging potential issues early, fixing small things on his own, and making sure everything was done to the highest standard. His pride in his work really shows. And all for very reasonable and competitive pricing! Communication was also outstanding. Wilman was always responsive, clear, and patient in explaining every step so we could make confident decisions. He and Donaldo were punctual, efficient, and reliable--and just as importantly, a real pleasure to have around. They were polite, tidy, and very respectful of our home. We were so happy with the results that we hired T&W Construction for another project before that one was even finished! If you're looking for a skilled, trustworthy contractor who goes the extra mile, Wilman and Donaldo are the team to call.

After meeting several contractors and getting completely out of reach quotes, for suggestions that weren't all that impressive, I was about to give up. I actually tried to cancel our appointment because we didn't want to waste their time, given the quotes we were receiving. They insisted that we keep the appointment regardless and I'm so glad we did. Dylan Bertet was the one coming to see the project and what a difference from every other contractor that we met before. Dylan is dynamic, creative, filled (and I mean FILLED) with design ideas on the spot, and someone whom we felt just knew exactly what he was talking about, with very practical suggestions for the highest impact given our budget. 10 mins into talking to him we had made our decision as he gave us the confidence and expertise that we were looking for. The quality of the work and the people who work with him is unmatched. When the time comes, we will for sure use them again.

We started with one bathroom remodel, and since that went so smoothly, we ended up doing all three bathrooms, replacing all the flooring in our 3,000-square-foot house (switching from a mix of old wood and carpet to all wood), and even making some layout changes throughout the house. A year later, we reached out to them again for a second big project--this time redoing our garage, including power, water, gas, insulation, walls--pretty much everything. In between, they also installed new skylights for us. Since we trust them and know they do high-quality work, we didn't even consider asking anyone else. From the start, Manuel and Dylan have been great to work with. They're always transparent with costs, communicate clearly, and stick to their timelines. The quality of their work is excellent, and if any small issue came up, they were quick to respond and adjust. Manuel has always been super responsive and available for questions, big or small. They even went with us to pick out materials like tile, wood, and bathtubs, which was incredibly helpful since they know the suppliers and what to look for. We've been really happy with every part of the process and highly recommend them. Definitely a 5-star experience.

The first involved a full kitchen / dining room remodel down to studs, removing a couple walls and adding support beams, replacing and releveling the entire floor on that level and coordinating installation of an island and cabinetry with electricians, plumbers, inspectors, etc. The house was originally built in 1925, so lots of fun surprises to be found! Dan provided information around what was found, what our options would be with related costs and made the updates / fixes as we decided. All was done very quickly and professionally and the work was completed on schedule - and in time for my wife's birthday, which was even more important! Our second project involved prepping our living room for a set of built in shelves. Seemed a simple enough task to start, but old house and all... We had a small storage area that we semi-used above the room that was shown to be woefully inadequate once fully exposed and was rebuilt since we had the chance. We now have a solid new storage area with updated lighting and a beautiful new living room! If / when we have our next project, we will definitely be giving Dan a call.

The reps at Bay Stone did their best guess and estimated 3 slabs. They coordinated the fab and install with Mr. Marble, and I understand why - they do beautiful work. Joe was amazing - they came out to measure, built the template and realized I only needed two. They coordinated the return with Bay Stone who in turn were awesome - no hassle. Most importantly, the quartzite looks amazing, and one cannot determine where the seams are located - unless one is willing to inspect and search for them. I have received many compliments on the craftmanship! These are before and after. I had a limited budget - kept the original appliances and sink - they still work. Also had the hinges from cabinets switched from external to hidden. Opted to have them painted as the oak frames and door are solid wood.

While Moises' estimate may not have been the lowest or highest of the ones I found, I got the most confidence from Moises and his team to be able to execute the project competently in the manner I needed. In contrast, competitors (some also with 5 star reviews on Yelp, others referred by acquaintances) were trying to force me into their own personal plan of the project, which quite predictably involved much more than I was asking to be done or needed - along with significantly higher risk, cost, and time for me, while of course making _them_ more money.
