Avoid this place. These dudes are scammers and workmanship is subpar. They damaged my turbine shaft sensor and tried to tell me it was a short in my TCM or in my harness. They also installed defective parts in my transmission and had to literally argue with them to fix it under warranty. They took almost a month to rebuild my transmission the first time I went and three weeks to fix the defective parts they installed the second time. Go to D&E transmissions they'll get your car running right and proper. I'm also reporting them to the BBB and will be taking legal action against them. The price is cheap but you'll end up paying more in the end to actually get your car fixed and running right when you go elsewhere when you realize how bad the job is done. read more

My brother went to this shop last year and fixed his transmission for 1K, it wasn't even the transmission after all, decided to give it a try myself since it was the only shop close by, left the car for a few hours so they can check what was wrong with it but I ended up changing my mind and didnt want it fixed afterall, spoke to javier and he was very rude to me on top of that I still had to pay $170 and they coudnt even tell me what was wrong with it, waste of money and horrible service. read more

Found this place on yelp, less then 2 miles away from my house on the widespread busy alameda street and I can honestly say it's a honest hard working gem, there are so many places around this area so you have to be careful but this one lives up to the reviews. I took my subaru here for a transmission flush and asked Javier if I can supply my own ATF, filter, and pan gasket for the flush and change, he said yeah no problem and adjusted the price. I was looking for places to have my transmission fix on my 2007 dodge magnum. I was calling difference places to see where I could take it, they places I would called told me they don't work on my cars model. Then I called here and spoke to the owner Javier. He told me to bring it in free check up. I took it in he was honest and the price was good 1,700 having to rebuilt my transmission since my reverse wasn't working. And I found out why most places won't work on my car it was because some cars came with American transmission and other came with German transmission so no one wanted to work with the car. The owner said we work with either transmission. I was happy with the service I left my baby in good hands.The owner gave me warranty and my car was ready in a week exactly when he told me he would have it ready. I had a transmission put in on my ls1 and and he was very honest and straight foward on how the job would be done. He told me to bring it in on Wednesday and even though he had many cars at his shop he still manage to squeeze me in and keep his word that he would have my car done by Friday. I live about 1 1/2 hours away. When arriving to the area my car broke down. A tow to my home would of been expensive! So I parked the car because shops were closed already. I looked around and found Perfect Transmissions on yelp. Saw it was near where i left my car . I Called the next day and was helped by the owner Javier who was extremely helpful! I explained my situation to him and how i was so far away and he made everything so easy from start to finish! He was very honest with me about pricing and agreed to tow my car to his shop and take a look at it. He did not pressure me to get the work done which i liked. I had to rebuild my transmission (already knew this was the problem) and the pricing was really fair for the work. I gave him a verbal agreement over the phone to pick up my car and work on it. 2 hours later my car was at his shop being looked at. I was worried and hesitant because i put my trust in a shop far away that i knew nothing about but i was given follow up calls every step of the way. I got my car back 5 days later working beautifully! I got there and met the owner for the first time who was incredibly nice and helpful.
