Disappointing experience. Service started off well. I booked…read morea 2-hour "Iyashi Signature Full Body Massage" online. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated in the waiting area with my feet in a tub of warm water--plain water, no scents or additives. I didn't think much of it. I was given a sheet to mark my preferences: pressure level, areas to focus on, and what I did not want. I selected medium pressure, clearly marked NO stretching, and indicated focus areas on the body diagram: neck and shoulders, low back, quads, calves, and feet. I also chose the stress-relief aroma, though I never smelled any aroma during the service. Once called in, I used the restroom and was guided to a private room. The first therapist, a woman, was wonderful--attentive, good pressure, and responsive when I asked for adjustments. She started with a massage over the sheet and then added oil for my back. The first half of the service was genuinely great. Then, midway through, I heard the door open and quiet rustling. No one said anything, and I immediately felt a different pair of hands. A moment later, a male voice spoke, which surprised me because no one informed me of a therapist switch. I don't mind male therapists, but a heads-up is the bare minimum. Despite me clearly marking NO stretching, he grabbed my arms and pulled them backward while I was face down. I said "ow, please put me down." He continued stretching me in a way that felt rough and careless. When he lifted my arms, my bare chest also lifted, and he was positioned directly in front of me, which made me feel extremely exposed. When he finally put me down, I decided to just let the moment slide instead of escalating it. The rest of his portion felt rushed and inattentive--he barely addressed the areas I marked (especially neck and shoulders), mostly rustling through my hair. The foot massage was okay, but he dropped my legs down abruptly afterward. He also broke my hair clip, threw it away without asking, and didn't apologize. When I checked out, I told the front desk girl I was unsatisfied. She told me I should have spoken up during the service--except there was clearly a language barrier, and the situation made it hard to advocate for myself in the moment. I also mentioned the broken hair clip, and for that, she offered a 5% discount. Can't say I'd return. The first lady was great, though I didn't catch her name. Unfortunately, the bald male therapist completely ruined what started as a promising experience.

So I randomly decided I just really felt like getting a massage today. I have been to buckhead massage before but checked, and of course they were all booked, so I searched some other massage places in the area, and to my luck, they were also booked. I happened to be at the Trader Joe's shopping center and I look up and see a massage place on the upper level of the strip. So I was like hm let me check their reviews... only 1-star and the experience sounded horrible honestly, and couldn't find a website for them anywhere.. so I was like okay I'll just walk up and check them out just to see anyways, and I'll decide when I'm in there. I go up, and walk in, the place is nice enough, I see the price list... only $70 for an hour-long massage. Other places in the area range from 105$-150$ for the same service... so I was like hm well how bad could it be? Let's just give them a try. So the lady who walked out of one of the rooms when I came in (Emma), immediately was like yeah come on back. And I was like uh okay.. I can do an hour massage for 70$? And she was like yeah yeah come on! So I was a little skeptical like no waiver to be signed, no check-in needed... I just came off the street and immediately get taken back. But I was like ok well she said 70$ so let's go hahah So she leaves me in the room and says go ahead and get undressed and lie flat on the table. Well I started and she immediately walked back in and said let's just do 30min? And mind you at this point I'm half undressed and she was like omg I am so so sorry! But I was like at the same time what did you expect? You just told me to get undressed. And then I was like noo an hour please! And she was like okay sure. So I'm thinking oh no what am I doing.. but honestly that didn't bother me at all, I really don't care. I'm about to be undressed for the massage so I didn't really feel awk but feel like it should at least be mentioned.. it made me feel the vibe of the other review but actually in the end really had no effect on my overall opinion. Back to the story, I lay down on the table and there's no blanket. I know some places still put one over you while they work on one section but no. I'm sure she could've if I'd had asked though. Again, I really don't care so it didn't bother me. From this point on everything was amazing! Just wanted to mention the very slightly awkward initial experience so if you do come and do feel any awkwardness at first, relax, it gets better lol. The massage was honestly amazing. She said she couldn't do deep tissue herself and was the only one free. She said she'd do Swedish but it was 10x better than the Swedish massage I had at buckhead. That's all I can compare it to + the massages I've had at Thai places outside of the US and her techniques seemed to align with the Thai massages I've had. It was really great, I can't recommend enough! And when I turned to the front she did put a sheet btw so if you're uncomfortable, you can of course keep your underwear on (I always do anywhere) and I'm sure you can ask for a sheet on the back, but if not, they'll put one on the front as you turn so they don't see you. It lasted the full hour. It felt even longer honestly, then she gave me a water bottle and I paid. It was exactly 70$.. plus a $3 charge if you use card. I left my tip and was super happy with the massage! Not only was it better than others I've had, but it was half the price! I'm not sure how you make appointments, maybe call? Because they don't seem to have a site. But I highly recommend giving them a try! They do have accents as the other review mentioned and they did offer 30 minutes instead of an hour. I'm not sure why but I said I wanted the hour and they said okay! And then I paid exactly what was listed so I could possibly see a bit of what the other review was talking about but I'm not sure if they were exaggerating parts because despite a couple moments and things like the sheet and the walking in on me, which are things I feel would be more "professional" at a nicer place, the massage was professional and actually better! I'll definitely just be getting massages here now!

Horrible experience. The massage itself was nice. The man did my feet and the woman did my body…read more Let me tell you how this turned into the most uncomfortable experience. It started off well with the man doing my feet. Then after 30 min I went to a room to get undressed for the body massage. The lady comes in and begins. About 10 minutes in the pauses to which i assume to grab something. I hear the door open and close. Soon after the resumes the massage. Then she starts talking out loud in her language. No one was responding besides a few times I could quietly hear a man but I figured it was someone outside the door or in the other room as the rooms are very thin and conversations can be heard very easily. so I assumed she was talking on the phone and had headphones in. Towards the end of the massage she says she is about to go get the stones. So I lift my head from the massage chair hole and see a man get up from the corner of the back of the room behind me and rush out with her. She then came back alone. I asked who was in here but she acted as if she didn't understand. I felt extremely uncomfortable that a MAN was sitting in a corner while I received a body massage undressed without my knowledge as my head was down the entire time. I get up to get dressed and head to the front. She ask how much I want to tip. I said $5 because I was so uncomfortable I really didn't want to tip at all but I always try to tip. She then proceeds to do puppy dog eyes and sounds and begs for $14. I said no because I was uncomfortable and unaware a man was in there. She then denies it. She's like "there no man at all". I said I heard her talking to someone and that I literally had seen him walk out. She says she was just talking to herself and then try's to gaslight me by saying I didn't see anyone. After about 4 times of me telling her I'm not tipping more than $5 the then tips herself and charges my card for the $14 tip. I didn't sign anything of me saying I wanted to tip that or even at all. She didn't even tell me she charged me for it. I had to find out by asking for a reciept which coincidentally took her about 10 minutes to find or print. I asked for the owner.she comes out and gives me the receipt and I inform her of my experience. She then goes to say that the man WAS in there and it was because he was training her. He was NOT training. He snuck into the room after I was undressed and head was down. He was not instructing her through anything. And I was NEVER made aware than a man would even be coming in there in the first place. Everything was just WRONG. And I'm even more upset because the lady who let him in LIED about it trying to gaslight me into thinking no other person was in the room at all. I recorded a little of the incident while checking out. Will we warning others. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I left feeling violated
