Upon arrival I was warmly greeted by Amy who is a strikingly attractive woman. She has a great personality and had me at ease within seconds of entering the establishment. She provided an outstanding massage and knew what areas needed more attention versus those that didn't, it's rare that you find this. She needed no direction and had me feeling wonderful within a short few minutes of the massage. She suggested a table shower at the end to which I gladly accepted, she rinsed off the excess oil, lathered me up and incorporated more massage. Needless to say this had me feeling wonderful and Pearl gained a new loyal customer. I highly recommend Pearl Massage, and Amy!

I'd highly recommend you come with a spouse or significant partner or someone you live with so you can learn these stretching exercises together. Throughout the class, you and your partner take turns being the giver and receiver. Our instructor was Gia and since our class had just 3 students, she was great about taking on the role of "giver" for each of us so we could compare our experiences. We did some incredible stretching for every part of our back, shoulder, neck, hamstring, ankles and more. I also learned how to use my feet and toes to massage someone's back, lol -- who knew! Wow after class, I could immediately feel the soreness of stretching parts that were never stretched before and I'm feeling the "good" pain today too. Fun and worthwhile activity for couples.

Who knew I would feel this good after just one. I highly recommend it...can't wait to go back.

I was very disappointed in my experience. I didn't get a massage here so I can't rate that…read more Here's my story: I was gifted a gift card to this establishment for my birthday and was very excited to use it. They use a third party website to purchase gift cards. On this site, you have to sign up/create an account and book an appointment. When you get to the payment part, there is no option to use a gift card. Instead, they ask you to enter your credit card information. Why should I have to enter my credit card information if I have a gift card, especially as that was the sole purpose of having to sign up to use the gift card and schedule an appointment. That was the first red flag for me. So I thought, let me call them instead and book the appointment since the site doesn't seem to have an option to select that I have a gift card I want to use. What I didn't want to happen is I enter my credit card information and then go for my massage just to be told I have to pay with my credit card and that they wouldn't somehow recognize or even accept my gift card. This turned out to be the case. When I make the phone call, I explained I had a gift card and that I want to make an appointment. I was told to just come in and I tried to clarify if it's better to make an appointment or just walk in (people that were walking in were being told they would have to come back in an hour/45 minutes as they didn't have people avaiable). The man on the phone kept saying to come in multiple times and at some point changed his mind and said that appointment is better. I tell him what time I want to come in the next day but it doesn't seem like he really takes note of that as he didn't really ask for my information. The next day I go in just to be told that they don't accept gift cards and do not have any record of a gift card purchase and that I should get a refund. I showed them a copy of the digital gift card and also mentioned to them that they have a link on their website that allows people to buy gift cards and there wasn't really any acknowledgement of that. I told them that they might want to take that down if they don't accept gift cards as payments. They asked me if I still wanted to have a massage appointment and I declined.

I was really looking forward to trying this massage place because of all the great reviews I had…read moreread, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I really liked that they allow you to choose the areas you want the therapist to focus on. Since I spend a lot of time typing, I specifically circle my shoulders. Because I also drive frequently and spend a lot of time sitting in traffic, I circle my glutes/buttocks, which tend to get very tight. I had Jennifer, and unfortunately, I felt that she spent very little time addressing the areas I specifically requested. Out of the 60-minute massage, I would say only about 15 minutes total were spent focusing on my problem areas. Much of the massage consisted of her using her arm to roll over my back, which didn't really provide the targeted pressure or relief I was hoping for. I also requested a medium deep tissue massage, but the experience felt more like a light Swedish massage. At one point, she placed a hot stone on me without warning. It was extremely hot and startled me enough to jump, so she ended up stopping the hot stone portion altogether. When she had me turn over, she also spent some time massaging my head, but unfortunately, I didn't find it particularly relaxing. I normally get Thai massages and have had much better experiences, especially when it comes to therapists listening to the areas that need the most attention and adjusting the pressure accordingly. My friend had Tina during the same visit and had a completely different experience. He requested a firm massage, and Tina did an excellent job focusing on his problem areas and providing the pressure he asked for. His experience was much more in line with what I was hoping for. That being said, I still tipped Jennifer 20% because I appreciate the time and effort she put into providing the service. However, based on my personal experience, this would unfortunately be near the bottom of my list when choosing a massage place. I hope the management takes this feedback constructively. I came in with high expectations because of the positive reviews, and I would have really appreciated a massage that was more customized to the areas and pressure I specifically requested.

I guess I was feeling like living on the edge today spontaneously deciding to get a massage and at…read morea 1-star rated business at that lol... but I am super glad to have taken a chance! So I randomly decided I just really felt like getting a massage today. I have been to buckhead massage before but checked, and of course they were all booked, so I searched some other massage places in the area, and to my luck, they were also booked. I happened to be at the Trader Joe's shopping center and I look up and see a massage place on the upper level of the strip. So I was like hm let me check their reviews... only 1-star and the experience sounded horrible honestly, and couldn't find a website for them anywhere.. so I was like okay I'll just walk up and check them out just to see anyways, and I'll decide when I'm in there. I go up, and walk in, the place is nice enough, I see the price list... only $70 for an hour-long massage. Other places in the area range from 105$-150$ for the same service... so I was like hm well how bad could it be? Let's just give them a try. So the lady who walked out of one of the rooms when I came in (Emma), immediately was like yeah come on back. And I was like uh okay.. I can do an hour massage for 70$? And she was like yeah yeah come on! So I was a little skeptical like no waiver to be signed, no check-in needed... I just came off the street and immediately get taken back. But I was like ok well she said 70$ so let's go hahah So she leaves me in the room and says go ahead and get undressed and lie flat on the table. Well I started and she immediately walked back in and said let's just do 30min? And mind you at this point I'm half undressed and she was like omg I am so so sorry! But I was like at the same time what did you expect? You just told me to get undressed. And then I was like noo an hour please! And she was like okay sure. So I'm thinking oh no what am I doing.. but honestly that didn't bother me at all, I really don't care. I'm about to be undressed for the massage so I didn't really feel awk but feel like it should at least be mentioned.. it made me feel the vibe of the other review but actually in the end really had no effect on my overall opinion. Back to the story, I lay down on the table and there's no blanket. I know some places still put one over you while they work on one section but no. I'm sure she could've if I'd had asked though. Again, I really don't care so it didn't bother me. From this point on everything was amazing! Just wanted to mention the very slightly awkward initial experience so if you do come and do feel any awkwardness at first, relax, it gets better lol. The massage was honestly amazing. She said she couldn't do deep tissue herself and was the only one free. She said she'd do Swedish but it was 10x better than the Swedish massage I had at buckhead. That's all I can compare it to + the massages I've had at Thai places outside of the US and her techniques seemed to align with the Thai massages I've had. It was really great, I can't recommend enough! And when I turned to the front she did put a sheet btw so if you're uncomfortable, you can of course keep your underwear on (I always do anywhere) and I'm sure you can ask for a sheet on the back, but if not, they'll put one on the front as you turn so they don't see you. It lasted the full hour. It felt even longer honestly, then she gave me a water bottle and I paid. It was exactly 70$.. plus a $3 charge if you use card. I left my tip and was super happy with the massage! Not only was it better than others I've had, but it was half the price! I'm not sure how you make appointments, maybe call? Because they don't seem to have a site. But I highly recommend giving them a try! They do have accents as the other review mentioned and they did offer 30 minutes instead of an hour. I'm not sure why but I said I wanted the hour and they said okay! And then I paid exactly what was listed so I could possibly see a bit of what the other review was talking about but I'm not sure if they were exaggerating parts because despite a couple moments and things like the sheet and the walking in on me, which are things I feel would be more "professional" at a nicer place, the massage was professional and actually better! I'll definitely just be getting massages here now!
