I'd highly recommend you come with a spouse or significant partner or someone you live with so you can learn these stretching exercises together. Throughout the class, you and your partner take turns being the giver and receiver. Our instructor was Gia and since our class had just 3 students, she was great about taking on the role of "giver" for each of us so we could compare our experiences. We did some incredible stretching for every part of our back, shoulder, neck, hamstring, ankles and more. I also learned how to use my feet and toes to massage someone's back, lol -- who knew! Wow after class, I could immediately feel the soreness of stretching parts that were never stretched before and I'm feeling the "good" pain today too. Fun and worthwhile activity for couples.

I went in feeling a stiffness and pain in my joints which I reluctantly attributed to the aging process. I saw the Living Social coupon for Thai massage and decided to try it. I can honestly say it was the best massage experiences I've ever had (and I've had quite a few). I am definitely going to make these massages a part of my health and fitness regime. Who knew I would feel this good after just one. I highly recommend it...can't wait to go back.

I was very disappointed in my experience. I didn't get a massage here so I can't rate that…read more Here's my story: I was gifted a gift card to this establishment for my birthday and was very excited to use it. They use a third party website to purchase gift cards. On this site, you have to sign up/create an account and book an appointment. When you get to the payment part, there is no option to use a gift card. Instead, they ask you to enter your credit card information. Why should I have to enter my credit card information if I have a gift card, especially as that was the sole purpose of having to sign up to use the gift card and schedule an appointment. That was the first red flag for me. So I thought, let me call them instead and book the appointment since the site doesn't seem to have an option to select that I have a gift card I want to use. What I didn't want to happen is I enter my credit card information and then go for my massage just to be told I have to pay with my credit card and that they wouldn't somehow recognize or even accept my gift card. This turned out to be the case. When I make the phone call, I explained I had a gift card and that I want to make an appointment. I was told to just come in and I tried to clarify if it's better to make an appointment or just walk in (people that were walking in were being told they would have to come back in an hour/45 minutes as they didn't have people avaiable). The man on the phone kept saying to come in multiple times and at some point changed his mind and said that appointment is better. I tell him what time I want to come in the next day but it doesn't seem like he really takes note of that as he didn't really ask for my information. The next day I go in just to be told that they don't accept gift cards and do not have any record of a gift card purchase and that I should get a refund. I showed them a copy of the digital gift card and also mentioned to them that they have a link on their website that allows people to buy gift cards and there wasn't really any acknowledgement of that. I told them that they might want to take that down if they don't accept gift cards as payments. They asked me if I still wanted to have a massage appointment and I declined.

I called, and they said they did chair massages and they had availability so I went over. I told him that I wanted the chair massage. I was led to one of the foot massage chairs and told that this was the same thing. I was like no. I want a chair massage like in this picture because I had bad neck and shoulder tightness, and they assured me that this was better. Then my masseuse started doing a full body massage. I explicitly asked for my shoulders and my neck. Essentially, I just paid the exact same price for just a private full body massage, but with the added benefit of being fully clothed in the middle of a public room. So now I feel like I have rug burn from my clothing, and I couldn't fully relax. My masseuse was very nice. And when he was working on my neck, he did a good job, but this was not at all what I asked for or what I needed. For paying full massage price, I would have gone to a spa or gotten one of the rooms. This was such a frustrating and disappointing experience. I needed my knots worked on. Not a rub down.

Disappointing experience. Service started off well. I booked…read morea 2-hour "Iyashi Signature Full Body Massage" online. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated in the waiting area with my feet in a tub of warm water--plain water, no scents or additives. I didn't think much of it. I was given a sheet to mark my preferences: pressure level, areas to focus on, and what I did not want. I selected medium pressure, clearly marked NO stretching, and indicated focus areas on the body diagram: neck and shoulders, low back, quads, calves, and feet. I also chose the stress-relief aroma, though I never smelled any aroma during the service. Once called in, I used the restroom and was guided to a private room. The first therapist, a woman, was wonderful--attentive, good pressure, and responsive when I asked for adjustments. She started with a massage over the sheet and then added oil for my back. The first half of the service was genuinely great. Then, midway through, I heard the door open and quiet rustling. No one said anything, and I immediately felt a different pair of hands. A moment later, a male voice spoke, which surprised me because no one informed me of a therapist switch. I don't mind male therapists, but a heads-up is the bare minimum. Despite me clearly marking NO stretching, he grabbed my arms and pulled them backward while I was face down. I said "ow, please put me down." He continued stretching me in a way that felt rough and careless. When he lifted my arms, my bare chest also lifted, and he was positioned directly in front of me, which made me feel extremely exposed. When he finally put me down, I decided to just let the moment slide instead of escalating it. The rest of his portion felt rushed and inattentive--he barely addressed the areas I marked (especially neck and shoulders), mostly rustling through my hair. The foot massage was okay, but he dropped my legs down abruptly afterward. He also broke my hair clip, threw it away without asking, and didn't apologize. When I checked out, I told the front desk girl I was unsatisfied. She told me I should have spoken up during the service--except there was clearly a language barrier, and the situation made it hard to advocate for myself in the moment. I also mentioned the broken hair clip, and for that, she offered a 5% discount. Can't say I'd return. The first lady was great, though I didn't catch her name. Unfortunately, the bald male therapist completely ruined what started as a promising experience.

So I randomly decided I just really felt like getting a massage today. I have been to buckhead massage before but checked, and of course they were all booked, so I searched some other massage places in the area, and to my luck, they were also booked. I happened to be at the Trader Joe's shopping center and I look up and see a massage place on the upper level of the strip. So I was like hm let me check their reviews... only 1-star and the experience sounded horrible honestly, and couldn't find a website for them anywhere.. so I was like okay I'll just walk up and check them out just to see anyways, and I'll decide when I'm in there. I go up, and walk in, the place is nice enough, I see the price list... only $70 for an hour-long massage. Other places in the area range from 105$-150$ for the same service... so I was like hm well how bad could it be? Let's just give them a try. So the lady who walked out of one of the rooms when I came in (Emma), immediately was like yeah come on back. And I was like uh okay.. I can do an hour massage for 70$? And she was like yeah yeah come on! So I was a little skeptical like no waiver to be signed, no check-in needed... I just came off the street and immediately get taken back. But I was like ok well she said 70$ so let's go hahah So she leaves me in the room and says go ahead and get undressed and lie flat on the table. Well I started and she immediately walked back in and said let's just do 30min? And mind you at this point I'm half undressed and she was like omg I am so so sorry! But I was like at the same time what did you expect? You just told me to get undressed. And then I was like noo an hour please! And she was like okay sure. So I'm thinking oh no what am I doing.. but honestly that didn't bother me at all, I really don't care. I'm about to be undressed for the massage so I didn't really feel awk but feel like it should at least be mentioned.. it made me feel the vibe of the other review but actually in the end really had no effect on my overall opinion. Back to the story, I lay down on the table and there's no blanket. I know some places still put one over you while they work on one section but no. I'm sure she could've if I'd had asked though. Again, I really don't care so it didn't bother me. From this point on everything was amazing! Just wanted to mention the very slightly awkward initial experience so if you do come and do feel any awkwardness at first, relax, it gets better lol. The massage was honestly amazing. She said she couldn't do deep tissue herself and was the only one free. She said she'd do Swedish but it was 10x better than the Swedish massage I had at buckhead. That's all I can compare it to + the massages I've had at Thai places outside of the US and her techniques seemed to align with the Thai massages I've had. It was really great, I can't recommend enough! And when I turned to the front she did put a sheet btw so if you're uncomfortable, you can of course keep your underwear on (I always do anywhere) and I'm sure you can ask for a sheet on the back, but if not, they'll put one on the front as you turn so they don't see you. It lasted the full hour. It felt even longer honestly, then she gave me a water bottle and I paid. It was exactly 70$.. plus a $3 charge if you use card. I left my tip and was super happy with the massage! Not only was it better than others I've had, but it was half the price! I'm not sure how you make appointments, maybe call? Because they don't seem to have a site. But I highly recommend giving them a try! They do have accents as the other review mentioned and they did offer 30 minutes instead of an hour. I'm not sure why but I said I wanted the hour and they said okay! And then I paid exactly what was listed so I could possibly see a bit of what the other review was talking about but I'm not sure if they were exaggerating parts because despite a couple moments and things like the sheet and the walking in on me, which are things I feel would be more "professional" at a nicer place, the massage was professional and actually better! I'll definitely just be getting massages here now!
