Update After Resolution…read more I wanted to update my review now that this situation has finally been resolved. I joined Crunch Fitness with personal training, but after requesting that my training be canceled, it was never properly processed. As a result, I continued to be charged month after month without authorization. In total, I was overcharged for 11 personal training payments, totaling approximately $700. When I finally discovered the issue, I was told by Chris Duncan on May 21 that my refund had been approved and would take 3-5 business days. Instead, weeks turned into nearly two months of unanswered emails, phone calls, and text messages. I was completely ignored while trying to recover money that should never have been taken from my account in the first place. The lack of communication and accountability created an incredible amount of unnecessary stress. I reached the point where I was preparing to hire an attorney simply to recover my own money. No customer should ever have to consider legal action just to receive a refund that has already been approved. The reason I am updating this review is because Jen completely changed my experience. She took my concerns seriously, listened, and made it a priority to help. Rather than passing the issue along, she contacted the owner directly. The owner then stepped in, contacted Chris, and ensured that my refund was finally processed. I have now received refunds for all 11 incorrect charges. I cannot thank Jen and the owner enough for stepping in and doing what should have been done from the beginning. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to make things right deserve to be recognized, and I am sincerely grateful for everything they did. That said, the overall experience has permanently damaged my trust. Being overcharged by hundreds of dollars, then being ignored for nearly two months after being promised a refund, is something I simply cannot overlook. While I appreciate that the situation was ultimately corrected, this gym is not the right fit for me, and I won't be returning. I hope my experience encourages Crunch Fitness to ensure that future cancellations are processed correctly and that customers never have to endure what I did to receive a refund they were already owed.

There…read moreare modifications for every move, and the coaches are always right there to help with anything extra you need. That support was exactly what I had been searching for. But beyond the workouts... it's the sisterhood that sets this gym apart. I've never experienced anything like the daily inspiration I get from the women here. I've built amazing friendships, and we cheer each other on, hard. The coaches? Absolutely amazing. They lead with both expertise and heart--always helping with form, motivation, and reminding you what you're capable of. Your "corner" in life is made up of the people who love, challenge, and support you. I'm lucky--my corner is bigger than I ever imagined. In fact, it's more like a triangle --filled with women who continue to add so much value to my life. Whether I see them every day, occasionally, or not at all anymore... whether we started off close or had to grow into our connection... I'm grateful for every single one of them. Even when I had to step away from the gym for health reasons for 8 months in 2023, they never stopped cheering me on--and I'll never forget that. I've been part of Delta for over four years now, and I can honestly say: this place, and these women, have helped shape me. I'm stronger for it--inside and out.

We came to the Ormond Beach West location to confirm her account, complete any remaining setup, and get her comfortable with the gym. The Planet Fitness app wasn't working on her older iPhone, which I explained at the start. Instead of helping, a front-desk employee repeatedly told us to download the app and said they couldn't look up her membership. Another employee then found it in their computer system. Why make a simple request so difficult? We also asked for a tour. I was told I couldn't receive one because I wasn't a member. I accepted that and asked whether my sister, the paying member standing beside me, could at least be shown around. Eventually, they agreed, but by then she wanted to leave. Throughout the interaction, the employees exchanged looks and smiles that felt dismissive and mocking. When I asked for a manager, the situation got worse. Rather than addressing my concerns, she repeated how important the app was, accused me of berating her staff when I questioned their service, and ultimately asked me to leave. I complied. My sister was already nervous about starting her fitness journey. She needed a little patience and encouragement. She left embarrassed, upset, and saying she would never return. We then visited the beachside Planet Fitness in Ormond Beach and had a completely different, positive experience. That made the treatment at this location even harder to understand. I canceled the West membership online and was charged $15 during the cancellation process, which I've requested they explain and refund. A "Judgement Free Zone" should begin at the front desk. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this location, especially to someone joining a gym for the first time.
