We signed up gras cutting fall cleaning and snow plowing services . Guess what, fall cleaning was done mid December after we keeping calling an texting. And now 24 hours after the heavy snow, the snow have become ice, am still waiting for my service. This is not how you should do business. So I received text message on Jan 14th 2024 Sunday (snow was on Friday night) telling me telling me"We did let you know we were coming out to service. We worked around the car to the best of our ability." Fact is that nothing was touched not even the side walk and path that in front of my door. I should I read the reviews before hiring this company for lawn care services. It's a scam. They did 2 cuts and both not on time. They called saying they no longer could service my location, so I asked for my money back for 6 services ($270) that I had paid for. Called this company (J's lawn and snow) and ended up with perfect pastures. They are very fast!!! Under 10 minutes they scalped the lawn, ran over any and all twigs and weed whipped the ditch. Requested they raise the blade and was told there are bumps in the lawn. They also miss areas, Maybe because they are driving 50mph in the lawn. They do grass cutting if you don't mind missed spots, down spouts crushed and scalped areas. read more

This is for J's Lawn/Perfect Pasture! I truly hope you take this review seriously and don't use this company until the owner or whoever they are change their practices. It started where they were supposed to come out and complete an initial cut and clean up. They will say it was weather but it was the week of April 10th 2023 and the weather was mid 70-s all week. It was not until the next week the weather was bad and they didn't show up and will continually to say weather totally lie! They are very inconsistent on days when they come and you never know which day they will show up! They have literally missed one week every month since May but they want to bill you in advance how is that possible and upset when you are not ok with paying your bill accordingly! This has been one of the worst experiences ever and truly don't recommend using them at all! read more

I too received a flyer and responded. They signed me up for a contract for the first four cuts pre-paid. Second cut was late a couple of days, No big deal . By the third cut, They were near a week over due citing the weather and lack of employees. Ironically when I asked initially about requesting skipping a week here and again for dry weather, they told me that they had to more or less stick to every week in order to pay their employees. The fourth cut never came. I also got an email the Friday before the Memorial Day Holiday that they were dropping me because of loss of employees and that they would finish my final cut early the following week. Well needless to say that never happened. When I asked about it they said they would just mail me the balance in the next 2 weeks. That was almost three weeks ago and they haven't respond back to my email. Very upsetting. read more

I should've done some research on perfect pastures before hiring them for my lawn care. The review the lady left prior took the words right out of my mouth. Owner told me he would bag the lawn when he came to collect the $148 to get on his schedule. The crew left grass all over my lawn and when I called he said they don't use bags on their machines because it's more efficient to blow into a pile then rake up. Also said per the contract he would own bag as needed. Then told me good luck finding a landscaper and how annoying my wife was for complaining to the crew for doing a poor job if you are looking for quality this is not the company for you. Mow blow and fly special at best. It's too bad they don't have an option for zero stars because I feel like one is being generous with this company. read more

They asked for four weeks of lawn, cutting service payment upfront. I provided that in good faith. Communication was terrible. Owner said he was coming out to start on three different occasions he did not . His phone mailbox was full so I couldn't leave a message on many occasions. I finally left three messages, letting him know I'm canceling his service and wanted my money back. His crew shows up anyway and they were very nice by the way. I turned them away. Told them I left a message with their boss and a voicemail. 10 minutes later I got a call from him, screaming at me. Giving me all kinds of excuses and why they didn't come out when they said they would. Said it rained . Well even if it did that's one day how about the other three? I'm a very patient woman until he started screaming at me and then this old lady let him have it! I should not have to be calling him to ask when he's coming . At times getting no response or getting dates when he doesn't show up. And he has my money!! He said there was a 30 day cancellation policy, which is not written on the contract and he will not return my money. So I am out $156. Come to find out my sister-in-law in another city, used him, and had the same problem with him not showing up on the day he said he would. She had to keep hunting him down. I would strongly urge not to use this company. They are not reliable. The owner does not know how to handle customer service issues. Screaming at a customer is not the way to handle a problem. The most important because he has my money, and does not plan to give it back. We will see about that. read more

If my review allowed it I would give a negative zero! I paid upfront for 4 cuts. A month later I received one. Then much later I received another. There was always an excuse as to why they couldn't cut my grass. Also I was told I would be cut on Fridays per my request and grass was to be bagged. I got my grass cut on Mondays and NO bagging! After I tried so hard to get in touch with them I never heard back. I emailed, called and text. I am still trying to get my money back for the cuts I did not receive!! I told them to cancel my service so I know for a fact they got those emails because I never saw them again. I guess there are a lot of us with the same problem. This company put fliers in my neighborhood to get more business. I called and someone showed up that weekend to sign a contract and collect the prepayment of 4 cuts. He stated "We'll get you on the schedule next week." Next week comes, no show. I called, "Weather has prevented us from geting to you this week, we're finishing up cuts by Sunday." Sunday passes, no show. I called Monday, "We'll get your cut done this week, FOR SURE." Friday comes, still no show. I called and emailed. Got a call back, "We'll be there by the end of the weekend, the weather has put us behind." The same responses come the next Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday morning, I called and emailed and told them to refund my prepayment and do not show up. I received an email stating "We can not refund your prepayment, and we'll be there today." I set up a different service to come out, and in 2 hours Perfect Pastures was at my house to cut. They returned the next week and cut on schedule. I received an invoice for the next month of service after all these shenanigans. I emailed and called and told them to finish the 4 prepaid mows, but I will not be continuing. I haven't seen them since. I received an email stating they were cancelling my contract and they would be finishing the mows I've paid. I haven't seen them since. They still owe me 2 mows. I emailed and asked when they would be cutting again since they still owed me and it had been over 2 weeks since they cut. The response was "we'll refund the balance to you and you'll receive the money in 2 weeks." After 2 more weeks I'm still getting screwed by this company. I follow up by email and "We'll check into that refund" is the only response I get. This place has no idea what they're doing, do not use them unless you enjoy getting screwed over. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. read more
