Simple nail polish manicure. Looks nice, I was happy with it.

This place is basic. You're not going to be blown away by the atmosphere or cleanliness, but they get the job done well enough. The place isn't super clean, I could see dirt in places and nail dust on some equipment. Also there are just random piles of stuff everywhere - not very organized. They had some "peaceful" music playing, but it sounded static-y. Really weird. Anyway, I came here on a whim as a walk-in and waited about 20 minutes. It was after lunch time and they had 2 people in there, a man and a woman. There is no price board or menu to figure out what you want. The woman told me $20 for manicure with nail polish and $30-$35 for gel. But there's no way to tell if she just gives out random prices depending on how she feels at the moment, because it's not shown anywhere. I also didn't see any certificates posted anywhere, but maybe they were somewhere else? I got a nail polish manicure. The man did a good job of cleaning my cuticles, filing, and shaping to my liking. He did clip my cuticles, so watch out and stop them if you don't like that. I asked that he not buff my nails and it was no problem. He did a base coat, 2 color coats, and a top coat. Then you are supposed to wait about 12 minutes for it to dry. I recommend waiting the whole time, because I left early and immediately messed up a nail. :) Whoops. Guess it takes longer than I thought because of all the layers. In summary, it was ok. I might drop in there again if I just need some basic help to take care of my nails while I'm in town.

Cockroach by the old fashioned polish dryer.

Was really disappointed with my experience today, I had a break in my day and really wanted a great pedicure. There was no pricing posted, there was no pedicure packages with other options, I was given a very standard pedicure with no bells or whistles. The lady was very rough and made me bleed twice. She spoke rather good English when I saw her speaking to others but barely said 2 words to me and I was not a fan of her tapping and pushing to try to get me to do things instead of just saying what she wanted. They have one old fashioned dryer for the polish that is on a ticking timer and imagine my surprise when a large bug walked around it while my toes were drying. Health department should shut this place down. It was also miserably hot, there is no air conditioning and it was 93 outside. There's a large industrial fan that they were using when I arrived that really only blew around hot air and then half way through they turned it off and shut the door.

Pointer finger was the first one to get fixed.

3 stars cause The salon is clean. I got there for my appointment and the gentleman was asleep in the back so the lady did my acrylic set. They were lumpy and one broke literally a few days later. The gentleman did this one nail (I had to pay for it) and although he glued the tip on slightly askew so that the nail was crooked, it was more structurally sound than the other 9 nails so I decided I'd go back for the fill. He was way tougher and filed my finger several times. And now ANOTHER nail just snapped off. I'd rather drive an hour away to get a better set.

They are very unprofessional. They don't even have their price board so they literally priced everything by the top of their head. I came in for a fill for my acrylics and I got charged $55. It was pretty much equivalent to a full set. They are all so rude and disrespectful here. They are also very unsanitary and scattered. It's not business like at all. They also are very rushed. The guy that did my nails even filed my skin off. Def don't recommend going here.

After her long hair was becoming a pain my lady made an appointment to see Tiffany for her usual trim and perm. She had complications because Tiffany's crusty, low grade equipment (chair she had to sit in to wash her hair) wasn't able to accommodate older people. We finally accomplished that step and proceeded with the rest. As soon as we were out the door my client said it was cut way too short. I assured her it would grow fast and she insisted Tiffany forgot how she previously had it done because she didn't do it the same at all. The very next day the perm appeared to be slacking. I figured it was normal and we needed to take extra care of it, so we covered it in her loose fitting silk sleeping cap until the next day. Well, as the days went on it was apparent she didn't have a perm any longer. Just hair damage. Every single day after this Mrs. Lady would complain and cry how she wanted her hair to be curled! So I decide to call Tiffany because we shouldn't have to be dealing with this after we paid almost $100 to avoid it, by getting her a perm! So Tiffany proceeds to tell me her perm failed because she's on medication. I explain to her that none of the few medications she is on have hormones or any scalp affecting symptoms. They are very neutral and not of the FEW that can possibly have any influence on her dead hair. To my surprise she then says it failed because she couldn't reach the sink very well to rinse it out.. I then asked her "So it's because you couldn't rinse her hair?" She back peddled and said it was because her hair was too short. Then I said, "if you knew you had cut it that short, why did you continue with the perm? You are the professional" at which she got noticeably angry asking me what I expect her to do about it. I told her she was paid $90 to do a perm which failed, she should make it right. She then said she didn't want to talk to me, she wanted to talk to her daughter. I said her daughter doesn't live here & has nothing to do with this (i took her to the appointment so i dont feel its that far fetched that she talk to me). At that she said she does not want to talk to me and hangs up on me! I could not believe it! I was not rude to her! This woman is not a good business person. All the people that have been generous to this place and have left good reviews i suspect were only able to do so because they all have been lucky enough to not have a complicated service (like a perm apparently is!) that ran into any problems. I'm pretty confident that if others have had any kind of issue, she would reveal her true colors as she did with us. I can not recommend this business because her work is shoddy, she doesn't stand behind it and she shouldn't be doing business here when she treats her limited, fixed income, elderly clients so callously, after she steals their money for a service that was not performed correctly. Looking at her today, not even a month after the attempted perm, her hair doesn't even look serviced at all. And EVERY SINGLE DAY she complains about wanting her hair done. DONT GO TO TIFFANY'S Design if you want a quality perm that lasts.
