I've been here 3 times now, and for the price (very affordable at less than $35 ), you can get a very decent manicure and pedicure. There's not a lot of pampering and love put into it, but the service is efficient. And most importantly, the place feels VERY clean. I don't mess around with cleanliness when it comes to manicures and pedicures, and this place feels clean. They are always very busy, but if any of the girls are not dealing with customers, they can be seen tidying and cleaning. Went here with my bridal party the day before my wedding though, and felt quite a bit rushed, as though we were in their way. 8 of us were in and out of there in about 1-1.5 hours. I don't expect fast-service nail salons to be all that relaxing, but this place was far from it. Small, cramped, little room for those waiting, the sound of foil being folded and cut for shellac removal was louder than the music and grating on my nerves. My shellac manicure was OK (they didn't soak my cuticles first) and the pedicure left rough patches on my soles and shellac polish on my skin on several toes. Good foot and lower leg massage though. I usually go for my nails to a nearby salon but I was walking by this place and it looked good so I went in for a shellac manicure. Super busy but I still found a spot. The girl started working on my nails after having them soaked only for 5 seconds. Not a good sign. A shellac manicure usually takes me 40-45 minutes for a great job. At this place, it took her 13 minutes! The shape was awful, not what I asked for at all, really short and she painted them so fast that it looked like a 15 year old did them. Didn't keep them in that furnace for as long as I normally do so obviously they started peeling off after 5 days. When I asked her to fix one of the nails a bit cause the polish was very noticeably uneven, she said "it's because of the second coat. I can't do anything about it now". Such an embarrassment to call yourself "perfect nail spa". More like a factory that tries to serve as many customers as possible giving the worst service for the same prices. Gross. read more

I have to say that this review is not directed at the girls that work there. I've actually had excellent service by the girls. My beef is with the receptionist. To me the person who is the face of your company to the public should be courteous and pleasant. The woman they have at the front desk is the rudest person I have ever dealt with when trying to make an appointment for any service, EVER!! As much as I love the girls there, I have to deal with their receptionist and I just don't feel the abuse is worth it. read more

WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE! Do not waste your time here or support this business, the customer service AND services are awful and not worth the money. I am writing this review after visiting this salon for about 6 months now with an educated opinion and review, I understand one offs may happen but the below information happened consistently. I have received a shellac manicure, pedicure and waxing. Manicure- the staff file your nails down until they are paper thin - this is not necessary! They have also cut me with the aggressive filing and never apologize but simply ignore you. Pedicure- they have cut my skin multiple times and as stated above they do not apologize simply ignore you or that they blatantly have hurt you - extremely unprofessional. Waxing - Terrible! I left with large amounts of wax residue on my skin and was sticking to everything. When I got home I looked carefully at my skin and there were patches of hair left everywhere. I could've done a better job myself. I have brought up my frustration to the "manager" and she simply looked at my blankly and pretended she didn't understand what I was saying. I do not complain but when you are PAYING and getting cuts from a service and when services are overall terrible I could not help but voice my opinion. Overall they are the worst nail salon I have been to and I have been to many. I don't understand how people can run a business like this with such terrible customer service and services. I have been here several times over the last couple of years and my most recent appointments were absolutely terrible. As much as I love the decor of this place, the service is extremely poor. I went here before my wedding day for a manicure/ pedicure and the girl was so rough with my feet when using the foot file that she cut my right foot open with it. I was bleeding and in pain. Unfortunately the cut did not heal before my wedding day and I was in pain because of this on my wedding day. I know accidents happen and there are MANY girls who work at this location so I decided to go back recently for a shellac manicure in hopes of a better service. As the girl was filing my nails, she sliced open the skin on TWO different fingers. She did not apologize but simply put some ointment on my cuts. When I got home, I realized that one of my shellac'ed nails had a bubble in it. When the bubble burst the following day, the shellac nail polish on the that finger nail chipped off where the bubble had been. I know that this place offers services for a reasonable price and they have a nice facility with a great location, but I just can't risk leaving this place with cuts and in pain again. It's not worth it. I have read some reviews about Ana's Nail Boutique in Etobicoke (very close to Perfect Nail) and it seems that people are overall happier there, so I will be trying that out. Not worth it, even at a relatively low price. I've gone maybe 5 times and have been burned or left with bleeding cuticles every time. The prices aren't listed and they constantly mutter to each other and give you varying prices. The polish bubbles and chips constantly... just go down the street to somewhere kinder and more consistent and professional. read more

I get shellac done on my nails every 2 weeks here. I've been going here for at least a year but had a really bad experience on Saturday, April 23, 2016. I called to make an appointment. When I arrived, there was another customer ahead of me so I waited until they were served. As I was not paying attention to what the lady at the counter was saying to the customer in front of me, I hear her yelling at me as she repeated "go to the back... Miss, GO TO THE BACK". It was like she repeated herself 3 times, raised her voice and the whole salon went quiet and looked at me. I was so embarrassed I just went straight to the back thinking they know who I am. I walk to the back (feeling mortified) and as I'm walking, she calls out at me again and says "miss, are you two together?" and I say "No, I made an appointment and I'm here a little early." She then tells me to come back to the front, asks my name and then asks me what I'm getting done. She then tells me to have a seat and I was waiting for at least 15 minutes (I was only 5 minutes early). I like to get a flare nail done and they usually don't charge me extra but this time around, I had a pedicure/manicure w/ flare and was charged $67 (unheard of). The lady at the front who YELLED at me then tried forcing me to give a better tip because there were two girls working on me. I believe i left a good enough tip but I was so upset the way I was treated. I will NEVER go here again! I pay lots of money to have my nails done every two weeks and I always give a good tip. This experience left me feeling very upset and I will NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother. Absolutely RUDE and OVERPRICED BS. VERY UNHAPPY. read more

Do not spend your money to be treated poorly and for such a low quality mani/pedi! This is my first review after many years of frequenting various nail salons around the city of Toronto and after having moved to the Kingsway I decided to try Perfect Nails (Royal York and Bloor Location). The pedicure I received was not overly careful but I am always happy with efficient, clean and well polished. When I arrived home I noticed that after my two hour wait under a dryer that somehow when the technician slipped my shoe on a slight blemish had occurred - of course I didn't notice till I got home and after generous tips had happily been left. But I know these things happen, i'm always careful but certainly not the first time a touch up was needed. The next day I returned to find same staff and to request it to be fixed (with receipt) - as in remove and re-polish - an act taking approximately 5 minutes - only to be told they would only put a clear coat on it and refusing to re-do the one toe without my incurring a cost. As I said prior I do not write many reviews and my overall expectations I would consider pretty standard but to be treated so poorly, with rudeness, and a lack of customer service not to mention an indignant choice not to back their own work seemed to warrant a warning to those who may consider this salon in the future. I highly recommend AVOIDING this salon and taking your hard earned money somewhere you will receive high quality service, respect and quality! read more

My first and last visit there. I had a so/so pedicure, (big toe had an unsightly nail cut when I was finished) then asked if I wanted to go to what I guessed was the drying station. I sat and sat, no one said anything and checked on me. Clearly I was not one of their regulars, and was treated accordingly. So when I thought ample time had passed, 20 minutes, I checked my own toes and and was told to wait two minutes. I waited and thought they must be ok, as 5 minutes had passed. No one offered to wrap my toes in plastic wrap, and needless to say, my pedicure was ruined by the time I got home. Too many other nail salons in that neighbourhood to choose from, that I do not need to go back there. Would NOT recommend! read more

Don't go!!! Horrible service - rushed and rough. Not clean. Rude. Zero customer service. Factory mentality. I went with my friend and we had a booked appointment. Right from the start we were rushed to pick a colour (they asked us 3 times in 5 minutes if we had picked our colour) and then they rushed us into our chairs as we were trying to take off our boots and put down our purses to only have my friend sit there for 15 minutes before someone started her pedicure. The water was barely warm and the girl working on my feet would slap them to indicate a change in position. She was super rough with the exfoliating brush and there was no calve or foot rub. While I was waiting for my friend's pedicure to finish, the girl started cleaning underneath my feet. The cleaning job was questionable - a little spritz and wipe, the end. The girl working on my friend's pedicure answered her phone in the middle of painting her toes and continued having a conversation while doing the pedicure. After, they sat us in the drying area where there was a little breeze to speed up the drying process and then they shuffled us along when they needed the spot for other clients. It was a terrible experience from beginning to end and I will never go back! We felt like we were on an assembly line! It totally sucked!!!! read more
