I've had pain in my arthritic ridden body for some years. She applied extra treatment to the spots she noticed that were painful. Yes and got most of the pain relieved. I'm feeling very good right now. Oh there is plenty of parking as it is a large complex that mostly shuts down a round 6 pm. So I naturally gave her a good tip. And though her English is not very good it's good enough to know a good compliment when it is given she is very strong and very good in the craft of massage. I would definitely recommend her for your next massage. Yes Bunny is one of the few massage therapists that puts all effort into her work. She is one of the best.

Consistently good massage therapist is hard to find! I found one in Curtis Parks Spa, and her name…read moreis Christina. Christina uses the perfect pressure (I like "medium" pressure), not too hard, not at all soft. It gets to all the pressure points, knots, and kinks, ... I could feel the effect on all those places I feel most strained (shoulders, back, neck, calf, ...). Hard, but feel soooo good (especially afterwards)! Occasionally - at the first few sessions - she would ask or I would tell her where I need the most massaging. She listens and remembers. Once in a while, I felt so relaxed, I fell asleep (and snored, so embarrassing..). The Spa is conveniently located, in a secluded building just off the freeway 99 at 12th Ave & Franklin Blvd, Sacramento. It's interior is professionally decorated, clean, & color coordinated, soft, soothing music playing. Massage table is heated & comfortable. Price is very reasonable. I am one happy repeated customer.

Quality: 4 Value: 4 Service: 5 Ambience: 4 The unique feature is that you can get a range of "gentle" Swedish-style hand-focused massages, to "intense" "Asian"-style massages that include the masseuse kneeling and/or walking on your back. It was interesting - my masseuse actually seemed much more effective and precise using their feet/toes than their hands! Pricing (as of 2019 October) was as follows: $40 plus tip for 30 minutes $50 plus tip for 60 minutes $60 plus tip for 90 minutes ~$10 each for adding on another masseuse, scented oils, heat, etc. Interestingly, you pay before the massage, and then tip afterward, much like Gentle Massage across the street (which seems to offer almost identical services). Additionally, you can hear new clients enter and leave, and the masseuse left the room a couple times if needed to check somebody in, or grab a hot towel, etc. This place also offers a free shower after each massage, but I am unsure if it is a table shower (where you get scrubbed down) like Gentle Massage offers, or just a basic shower-yourself-off situation.

DO NOT COME! SAVE YOUR MONEY! GO ELSEWHERE!…read more my husband and I came for a foot massage. We were out in different rooms, which was fine, but the massage was by far the worst we ever experienced. They didn't really massage you, they poke you with a stick and not enough oil used, so lots of skin friction and burns causing pain. Felt like we were getting pinched. And around my upper body just getting pushed down on. Her elbow in my spine. Husband and I had had two massages in different rooms and both came out unsatisfied by both masseuse. They absolutely have no skills!! Only used elbows and forearms to massage and we are questioning their license/certification. We both felt this was one of those happy ending kind of place, massage house , used as a front. Both ladies were older maybe early fifties but one had a netted black shirt and underneath was her bra. We didn't judge because she's it's maybe her style and maybe it is. It felt so sketched though. My husband and I both wanted to leave after we started but since we were in different rooms we couldn't communicate how we were both not enjoying this. It was $60 for a 1 hour foot massage per person and they charge $5 extra if you use your card. We ended up giving cash and gave them $200 and they tried to tell us they didn't have enough change ($80). We still tipped them 20% ($12 a person) then she had my proper change of $56. It was weird. They hardly spoke English, they were nice and friendly. This place felt and looked sanitary, but honestly it felt like I could've been drugged and something happened to me too type of place (which it didn't) but definitely don't come here. I'm sorry to have to write this but I don't want people who work hard for their money and need a massage cause they've been on their feet too much and needed a massage to relieve the exhaustion to only be failed by it and felt like we did, our money went down the drain and I still need a massage for my throbbing feet pain. Please save yourself and go else where.

Over-the-clothing massage is a different skill set from dimly-lit-room-naked spa massage. "Leo"…read morehas the skill. He detected my trouble spots and worked on them. One of those problem areas are my glutes. He didn't hesitate to work on them. (I am a 61-year-old white woman; there was nothing sexual or inappropriate about his approach, in my view.) He responded when I told him where the pressure was too much, and adapted his technique. He recommended that I go to 90 minutes (I had scheduled 60 minutes on the table), and clearly explained the added cost of that. Don't go to this place if you are looking for private rooms and essential oils. This is a straight-forward Chinese-style open air massage place in the mall. I went for therapeutic reasons, and I got an excellent massage for a reasonable price. (Table massage: 60 minutes = $72; 90 minutes = $108)

"Relaxing" zone ? Far from it! I had the worse experience here. A heavy set man was my "masseuse"…read more I highly doubt he was licensed and if he is, I want to know where he received his training. It was so painful! He was pushing very hard on my spine and seemed to spend 75% of the time going up and down my spine in hard pushing movement... not a massage. I asked him several times to lighten up. I should have left in the first 5 minutes but stayed which is my bad. I choose the "combo" massage which included my feet. He never moved to my feet and then all of a sudden the woman at the counter says "combo" and something else in their native tongue. He starts to yell!!! Literally YELL and scream at her . Goes over to the book to double check my "combo" then starts yelling at them again - I say I'm done and he comes out and aggressively says NO NO - he then proceeds to use VASELINE all over my feet - worse experience. I told him to stop and he sprayed alcohol all over my feet and legs. It was terrible. I'm still sore. My neck and back when I lie down. I think I'm bruised internally on my spine. 1 star which means ZERO. Stay away from this place.

They really know how to apply deep pressure and are excellent at finding and working through stubborn knots. What I appreciate most is that they always check in during the massage to make sure the pressure is okay and adjust as needed, which shows they genuinely care about your comfort and experience. They are very attentive throughout the session--offering water, making sure we're comfortable, and staying focused on problem areas rather than rushing through the massage. You can tell they listen to what your body needs and take their time working out tight muscles. After every visit, we feel noticeably better, looser, and more relaxed, with a huge difference in how our neck, shoulders, and back feel. The room itself is simple and looks fine--nothing overly fancy--but the quality of the massage is what really matters to me. I'd rather have an amazing, strong massage than a luxury room with mediocre work, and this place delivers every time. That's why I always come back. If you're looking for therapists who are strong, experienced, and truly effective at relieving knots and tension, Just Relax Massage is a great choice.

A tip is supposed to reflect the customer's satisfaction with the service--it should never be demanded or pressured out of someone. After paying $60 for a massage I was already unhappy with, being pressured for a specific tip made the experience even worse.
