When we got there, the couples room was already fully set up and ready for us, which we really appreciated. When you arrive, they have you pay before the massage, and they prefer cash--so we paid in cash. Even though our reservation was so last-minute, everything was prepared and ready when we walked in. Once in the room, they asked us to completely undress and lay down. Throughout the massage, you're covered with a large towel that they adjust to keep you covered at all times. The massage followed a full-body routine: starting with the back, then lower back, glutes, legs, and arms. They stepped out briefly to get a hot towel to wipe us down, then had us flip over. On the front side, they did a face massage with serum, along with head, neck, and shoulder massage, and then arms and legs again. Our session was exactly 60 minutes--no more, no less. Everything felt professional the entire time. Neither my husband nor I felt uncomfortable at any point. After the massage, they left the room to give us time to get dressed, which we appreciated. I had read reviews beforehand and knew they expect a tip. We gave $20 total, and one of them asked, "For two people?" My husband said yes. You could tell they were hoping for a larger tip, which we understand. The inside of the place is okay--you get what you pay for. It's an Asian-owned massage spot, and overall, it was a good experience.

My mom called ahead to ask about their services and mentioned that I mainly needed a foot massage because of ongoing pain. They said they don't offer foot massages by themselves but pushed a 30-minute "full body" couple's massage deal, so we booked two sessions: one for my twin sisters, and one for me and my mom. My sisters went first. It was their very first massage ever, so they didn't really have anything to compare it to, but they said it was "okay," so we figured at least it would be decent. When it was our turn, things went downhill fast. * They made us pay upfront. * Once we were in the room, they closed the door with zero instructions--no guidance about towels, what to expect, nothing. * The massage started alright, but the therapist asked about pressure and I said medium. * Only about 5-6 minutes in, she walked out of the room, letting a huge rush of cold air in. * This happened FOUR times during a 30-minute session because she kept going out to talk to other customers and schedule appointments. Not only was it unprofessional, the massage itself wasn't even close to "full body": * Only one side of my back was massaged. * Only the back of my legs were touched. * No arms, no neck, no front of thighs, and absolutely no foot massage, even though that's what we originally called about. * I walked out feeling confused, uncomfortable, and definitely not relaxed. It felt like we were scammed with a service that didn't match what was advertised at all. I left still needing a real massage, and honestly wish we never booked at all. I will absolutely be calling my bank about this charge. Save your money and go somewhere that respects your time and doesn't walk in and out of the room every few minutes.

Quality: 4 Value: 4 Service: 5 Ambience: 4 The unique feature is that you can get a range of "gentle" Swedish-style hand-focused massages, to "intense" "Asian"-style massages that include the masseuse kneeling and/or walking on your back. It was interesting - my masseuse actually seemed much more effective and precise using their feet/toes than their hands! Pricing (as of 2019 October) was as follows: $40 plus tip for 30 minutes $50 plus tip for 60 minutes $60 plus tip for 90 minutes ~$10 each for adding on another masseuse, scented oils, heat, etc. Interestingly, you pay before the massage, and then tip afterward, much like Gentle Massage across the street (which seems to offer almost identical services). Additionally, you can hear new clients enter and leave, and the masseuse left the room a couple times if needed to check somebody in, or grab a hot towel, etc. This place also offers a free shower after each massage, but I am unsure if it is a table shower (where you get scrubbed down) like Gentle Massage offers, or just a basic shower-yourself-off situation.

That level of attention is really nice and makes the experience feel personalized. The massage itself was great overall, but this time I felt the pressure around my neck and the base of my skull was much too deep and intense. I would recommend keeping the pressure much lighter once getting into the neck and skull area. It's a sensitive area. I've some head discomfort afterward, so I think this is an area where a little more caution and communication would be helpful. I should have spoken up and asked her to lighten the pressure, but I also think checking in before applying very deep pressure in that area would be helpful. Other than that, I really enjoy this place and would definitely come back. I just hope the therapists can be a little more gentle around the neck and base of the skull.
