I will preface first with saying, the job they finished with is quite beautiful, despite there…read morebeing missing spots and cracking in the caulking days after the finished. Aside from that. Communication, handling of payments, management and professionalism on site was miserable. One worker, Jimmy, noticed I had marijuana in my household and asked me for some each day he was there. They cracked my flooring and dented and scratched my door to the bathroom. Payment handling was my first problem. He asked for check or cash and so we gave him a check. They responded the next day saying it didn't clear so we wrote him another. The next day he said that was flagged and also didn't work. So then he said we can Zelle (why wasn't this in the first options?) so we Zelle'd the money. The next morning the checks all cleared and they had over $3,000 extra than was asked for the whole project, let alone just the deposit for the project. Thankfully when the checks cleared for them, they sent the money back immediately but it was so much unnecessary chaos. We could've stopped the project but by then they had already ripped out the shower and toilet so I just trusted them and let them continue the process. I appreciated their honesty in this aspect. I never received itemized list of parts and receipts for everything and was Nickel and dimed through the entire process. They tried to say I had to pay extra for a faucet on the sink, even though I had already received the estimate for all parts, the deposit was already given (along with the entire payment for the project because of the money issue) so I couldn't understand how a faucet for the sink wasn't accounted for. They brought a shower insert that was not okay'd by me and installed it without any okay, almost did the same for the vanity but I had to fight them to return it and get something new. After this debacle, the rapport between me, Ricardo and his workers changed drastically. Ricardo was very friendly and confident at the start, and as more issues occurred, he became more and more difficult to reach by phone call or to communicate. The son was super unprofessional, speaking in Spanish degrading remarks while I sat in the other room. They apologized and tried to explain the situation but it was incredible disrespectful and an absolutely unnecessary addition to the whole process. They left all the debris and trash on my front lawn for everyone to see for nearly two entire weeks, despite having a voucher from my house to dump and saying multiple times it would happen. People peed in the discarded toilet from the project and it was just sitting in front of our house... we had to actively cover and fix things to make sure it wasn't visible for more homeless or whoever was using it. The last day, Ricardo didn't shake my hand, didn't show me the completed project, simply walked out of my house and drove away. Never in my experience renovating my house has anyone been so petty and unprofessional. It was very surprising. The floors are stained and dirty from the work, plaster from the walls is still stuck to my vanity and shower everywhere and the cleanup wasn't up to what you'd expect. They basically took a dirty towel, wet it, and wiped everything and said they were done. The remodel is nice, and they did work that I can appreciate, but there is so many flaws that I will have to fix before flipping my house. I would not recommend this company for their lack of maturity, organization and management. I have tried to look at all the bright sides of it, but even after sending a post-project thank you for their work there was no reply. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for remodels.
