What a breath of fresh air. After going to various other stores, with some having pushy sales people, we loved the service Peter provided. He made himself available when we needed him but was not pushy and did not try to "sell" us anything. We appreciated his low key approach along with his expert advice and will make Perfect Home our first stop when we buy furniture again. Absolutely the worst experience I've had at a furniture store. I purchased a dresser and two nightstands, and after waiting 12 weeks, I received the wrong delivery -- a dresser and two mirrors instead. They promised to deliver the correct nightstands within four weeks, but it's now been seven weeks, and they still don't have an ETA. I'm extremely disappointed with this store. Expensive products, poor service, and unreliable delivery. I do not recommend shopping here. read more

Absolutely the best customer service in all of Calgary! They have a very large selection of home furnishings. Pricing is competitive and they have great sales. What blew me away was their handling of a lamp I just purchased and broke one of the glass shades. They were beyond accommodating, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we got a replacement. Highly recommended! read more

Bought a couch from this store. In-store service was good. Once we got it home we realized it was terrible quality. Cheap padding, very little padding at all in the pullout ottoman to the point where you could clearly feel the wood slates beneath. Couch is cheaply made, very uncomfortable and certainly not usable as a pullout bed. Immediately contacted the store to ask for a return and after weeks of back and forth was told that the manager would not accept a return. Poor quality products, poor after-sales service. Order a bed from them for my stepson in September which finally arrived in January (the est delivery was 4-6 weeks but we were told it could take up to 8 weeks bc of covid). No updates on delays were provided and we had to call numerous times to find out that the order wouldn't arrive until after Christmas. When the bed finally did come there was another 1 week delay. We got the bed and decided to put together on a weekend. Unpackaged the bed...broken. Phone the store and told they couldn't help but that we would need to put a claim on line and it would be reviewed within 72hrs. We make the claim and we're told that the store wouldn't handle the claim but the manufacturer and that we would have to wait. If we didn't hear back after 2 weeks then we could follow up. Meanwhile, we dismantled the old bunk bed and it's not in a position to put back together and we have no bed and no customer service to even tell us what to expect...refund, partial refund, replacement part, new bed.... read more

My husband and I were looking to replace our living room and bedroom furniture and were given a recommendation by one of our friends that had made a purchase at the Heritage location. I have to say that the store is amazing and we definitely were not disappointed by the store experience or the amount of choices available to us. The experience we had today was very pleasant and there was no sales pressure at all and at no time did we feel that Alana wasn't listening to our wants and needs. Alana was a delight to have as our sales rep, extremely helpful and very well informed on the items we were looking for. The manager Deanna was great in helping us all to come to a deal that we were very happy customers when we left the store. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED I ordered a couch on the August 2nd and had booked delivery for my couch to be delivered to my new house August 23. That is 21 DAYS. I waited and waited all day on the 23rd for someone to call me about what time the couch would be delivered. No one called. I ended up calling the warehouse to ask when it would be delivered, and he told me "unfortunately your couch isn't in stock and we forgot to call you, it got lost in the paperwork, the guys son has been sick, you should have it by the end of next week". Excuses. So we call Lane Furniture and we were told that it would be another 3-5 weeks before I get a couch. This is ridiculous. I ordered the couch 21 days ago and no one bothered to call and tell me within this time that I wouldn't have a couch. Terrible service. I am extremely disappointed. Until I get a new couch I have no where to sit in my living room for 3-5 weeks. Don't bother shopping here unless you want to pay money for something and not receive it for at 2-3 months. read more

The interior design team is great, no complaints there. The delivery personnel are great, no complaints there. Complaint is poor customer service following my cash going into Lane's pockets! Once you order and give them your money, then it seems you are no longer very important to them. It is 6 months since we placed original order and we have still not received all of our order correctly. Some issues we had: - new chair delivered, w/o legs to set it up. Legs didn't appear until many weeks later. At which time it was noticed that chair was coming apart at seams (and we never sat in it as it had no legs). - large mirror was showing as being in stock, and they just had to find it in warehouse. After 4 months of them looking and insisting it showed as in stock I got a refund as I figured if they couldn't find it in 4 months it was never going to be found. - not all throw pillows delivered with original delivery. When remaining one was received, it was the incorrect item. Now although these issues do not seem that significant, what was significant was the terrible customer service and lack of response. Several times they stated they would follow up and get back to me, they did not. I had to keep contacting them. I went to the store and told them that I was very displeased with the service I had received, and asked them to let me know what they were prepared to do to make this customer happy. They didn't even suggest anything, they asked me what would make me happy....wow, they couldn't even put any effort into trying to propose something. The lady I spoke with even stated that they would have to look at how much a discount they already gave me to see if there was anything they could do....really??? So even though they acknowledge I received poor service, they could only make it right if they maintained a profit margin. I have still not had a response to this request, and am tired of dealing with them, and do not expect a response. That pretty much sums up how focused they are on the service side....not a priority to them. And 6 months later my order is still not 100% fulfilled. But they had 100% of my money when they placed the order!! You take your chances dealing with this company......good luck! I know I will never purchase from Lane again! read more

I own many fine furnishings- Lane gramercy park, Henrendon, Lee industries with Sunbrella fabric, Stanley and Hooker. I purchased a couch at over $3000 and the fabric is pilling after 8 months and the backs are not looking as crisp anymore. Even my gramercy park is not as good as my other wood furnishings. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Just noticing that my items are not holding up to the test of time. read more
