I am so traumatized from my experience here…read more I brought in two pairs of jeans, tags still attached, to be hemmed. Brought in an already hemmed pair for reference so they could measure the inseam. All good. She measures, tells me how much, I pay, then she takes down my info. As I'm writing it down, I hear ripping as if she's ripping off the tags. I dismissed it in the moment because the tags were in the waist and that had nothing to do with the hem. I even told her not to remove the tags. I felt really uneasy about it though, to the point where I went back an hour later to get the jeans back. She had removed the tags, but saved them. I was furious as this was done without my consent. I have incredibly sensitive skin and the plastic fastener that attaches the tags often gets trapped between the fabric with no way out when it is ripped. This is why I had left the tags on so I could remove it myself. I have had to throw away jeans before because the little tab of the plastic fastener irritates my skin. I cannot explain how annoying and inconvenient it is to have skin this sensitive, but I do my best. Unfortunately, I have to get pants tailored because I am so little so skipping the hemming isn't an option. I used ChatGPT to explain what was wrong and she kept arguing with me rather than take accountability. She then started stopping people walking by into the supermarket to GOSSIP with them about what was going on, and then stopped a few more to ask them to translate from Korean to English and back. Mind you, one of the people was this woman whose mouth was full of sores that looked really contagious and she touched everything including my jeans, the tags, etc. I was finally able to get Nosey Nancy with the Sores to go away, but the arguing continued. I'm not someone to get upset easily but she actually had me raising my voice and almost crying. I asked her to please open the waistband of the jeans to check for the plastic tab and she said she wouldn't be able to match the thread, to which I said fine. I eventually left. This happened today, 9/17/2026. I will update this review with more details on her work once she calls me to tell me the pants are ready. I'm never going back after this. Horrible, disrespectful, dismissive, gossip-minded, argumentative, and that's just her customer service.

Unpleasant experience, even though the owner and her employee were both nice people. I dropped off…read more8 brand-new items for alterations, including one dress quoted at $20. When it came time to pin the pants for hemming, I had to stand on a narrow stool in the tiny store with the shades only partially pulled down -- anyone walking by could've seen me. Not great. The employee wrote up the order (I photographed it as my receipt), I paid $97 total, and was told one week, back the following Friday, no problem. When I showed up, she looked at me like she'd never seen me before. Even after I reminded her, she was blank, so I pulled up the photo of the order. Then she claimed I'd already picked up everything except the dress -- not true. She climbed onto the stool, then onto a huge pile of clothing (shoes off, but still not reassuring when it's other people's belongings) and dug around until she found 3 of my pairs of pants. Then told me her boss had decided the dress needed $40 of work, not the $20 quoted. I wasn't paying more to leave with half my order missing. She called her boss, who said she'd be in 2 hours -- I couldn't wait. They promised to call when she arrived. Nobody called. Next morning I called just after 9 (they supposedly open at 8), she said 10 minutes, I said I'd meet her. My drive was 25 minutes and the shop was still closed when I got there -- waited another 15. She opened up, handed me one missing pair of pants, and insisted I'd already picked up the rest. I wasn't having it. She climbed the pile again and eventually found my last 3 pairs. She did refund the $20 upcharge on the dress -- would've been nice if she'd just honored the quote instead of making me fight for my own clothes across two visits. Can't recommend.

He offered numerous different fabric, color, and fit options that suited what I had envisioned, and the result came out stunning. The thing that was unique to Mr. Kim's offering was that instead of buying a tuxedo I might wear just for one occasion, he was able to temporarily sew a layer of satin on top of my suit jacket lapels and take it off after my wedding. This allowed me to just buy one, high quality wool suit that I can keep, cherish, and wear for a lifetime!
