I highly recommend Ken Shipman (the owner of Perfect Climate Air) for any air-conditioning work since he's a sincere, knowledgeable, and trustworthy person with professionalism. I had an ancient HVAC system (30+ years old) and wanted to replace it with a new system. So I was looking around to find an HVAC contractor that I can trust. I searched for many contractors online, read through many reviews and narrowed them down to a couple, and got the quotes. The Perfect Climate Air was one of them (I felt I got fortunate to find Ken with my search in hindsight ). When I called Ken, he kindly explained everything to me (I had no idea about the air conditioning system before the call even though I am an engineer myself). I was very impressed with his knowledge of the overall HVAC system and his manner and honesty. Regarding the cost, he proposed the contract with the price that he thinks is the best, eliminating any need to make deals back and forth. After getting the quote from others, I realized that his proposal was not only very competitive in pricing but also didn't include any kind of unnecessary upsells (i.e., ductwork). The other contractors immediately suggested the ductwork, but Ken wanted to install the new system first and assess for any extra work with the new system after inspecting the ductwork condition. And he turned out to be right. After installing the new system, we got enough airflow on the second floor eliminating the need for ductwork changes (We saved about $3,500 right there with this). He didn't push for anything in the process but gave me all the necessary information to decide. His work was professional from the beginning to the end. The outcome was so good that I couldn't help but come and write this review. You don't need to search around others for any air-conditioning need. Just talk to Ken, and he's very trust-worthy. I'm glad that I chose his company to do my HVAC system project. Great job, Ken! Thank you for your professionalism! read more

Ken Shipman responded quickly and got over to my home asap as my AC stopped working in the summer and it was HOT ! My AC is about 14 years old so, Ken accessed the situation while I was waiting to hear "You Need a New AC System" Well, I was very happy to hear that I did not need a new AC System and it was just a defunct switch that needed to be replaced and that was all it was. I gladly paid him for his service time and small fee for the part and he installed it. AC working just fine! As well he had shown me where some Insulation was getting a bit burnt as the insulation tape had been coming off and exposing a potential fire problem in my attic, and he took care of reaping and adding new insulation as well. I highly recommend Ken and his Company Perfect Climate read more

Ken was stellar. A genuine professional. Really a down-to-earth gentleman, with no other agenda but to make your problems go away, and for the best price possible. He worked with us on a really difficult install. He and his crew did an excellent job, and cleaned up after. Those guys kicked butt! Even with the difficulties, he had us installed and cooling in a day, as he said he would, and for the price he quoted! His follow-through was first-rate, with an attitude of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". I am highly recommending Ken and Perfect Climate to anyone needing HVAC service and repair. You can not go wrong. read more

My fourteen year old system original to my house broke down in the middle of summer. I called several companies and they were too busy to respond. I found Perfect Climate online and immediately called. They quickly connected me with a professional consultant and was out the same day to give me a quote. Even though they were scheduled out more then two weeks, they fit me in the following day and installed my new system. I can't thank this company enough for giving me a fair price on a top of the line brand. I had my furnace, air conditioner, and ducts replaced and I highly recommend this company to everyone! read more

As a Certified Home Inspector in the Los Angeles area, I am frequently asked for referrals of licensed tradesmen to repair or replace the items called out in my reports. I rarely will recommend anybody as I have been burned too many times in the past. One of two exceptions is Ken Shipman. For HVAC, my ONLY recommendation is Perfect Climate. Ken is responsive, knowledgeable and honest, not to mention more than competitive price-wise. Ken Shipman @ Perfect Climate Air is my only go-to contractor for my own as well as my clients' homes heating and air conditioning needs. read more

HONEST! PROFESSIONAL! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ken and his team came highly recommended. My heating and AC system was old and, of course, broke during the 100+ temps. Ken was quick to respond and VERY HONEST, which is hard to find nowadays. He didn't try to up sell. He and his crew were able to install a brand new system very quickly. On time, responsive and they took all the safety precautions necessary during this pandemic. Very fair prices for the excellent work they did. I will never use another service provider. THE BEST!!! read more

If we could leave 10 stars, it wouldn't be enough! Our story is similar to another review. Although working at another job, Ken was able to help my husband get our air working. Temp was well over 100 degrees . We have a little Maltese with a heart condition and she cannot tolerate the heat. This was a life saver for her! We would not have been able to stay home. We would definitely recommend Perfect Climate to anyone! read more
