Alejandro was incredibly helpful and managed to fix our system within 24 hours after getting the correct parts. So grateful do custom air specialist that came right away and prioritized our repair during a heat wave. Amazing communication and service. Honest as well, It's hard to find contractors that don't try to just get more money out of you and I was really pleased. They came in fixing the problem without trying to upsell anything else. That kind of service is really rare these days could not recommend them more. read more

I cannot say enough good about custom air specialists and Adam Norvell. 10 years ago I purchased a condo built in 1976. Where are the heating and air unit is located in the hallway is difficult to get to and someone else I had had come out wanted to even put it in the attic! I decided to go with Adam because his price was fair and he was recommended to me. Am I glad I did! I have not had a single problem in the last 10 years. I've saved money. It's quiet. It's just wonderful! He and his team came out yesterday and did a service for me which I try to do yearly, although sometimes I fail in that department lol. When he looked at the duct work, I was informed that it needed to be replaced. We knew this was coming when we first put the unit in and the day has finally arrived. He and his team are coming back out shortly to install new ductwork and once again his price is very fair. He is also the best so I wouldn't go with anyone else. He and his team clean up, are considerate of my property, and in general, I can't say anything except five stars and thank you, Adam and customer care specialists! read more

We've had an excellent experience with Adam and his company! He was the first to respond to my Yelp query, (within a few minutes, way after hours!) and was diligent in following up with a call in case he could answer any questions 'in person'. When he came out to look things over for an estimate, he was thorough and informative, and never talked down to me as 'just a woman.' (One of my pet peeves when conversing with contractors) I asked him for a list of my options and cost for each, letting him know I was working with a very tight budget. To my absolute relief and satisfaction, he boiled it all down to incremental (and clean) choices without all that beating around the bush I get from a lot of contractors. I know 'things happen', and options may not be cut and dried, but I am a compartmentalizer, and appreciate those who can give me a good sense of different options. Adam absolutely worked with me for this project, and when it came time for the job, he and his worker set to it professionally. (Another thing I want from my contractors. I don't mind chatting, but 'talk and walk (or in this case, talk and work) is what earns my admiration. Don't talk to me about your other eejit clients, (it makes me wonder how you might talk to other clients about me!) and don't futz around.) Adam and his man were on time, and worked diligently, efficiently, and professionally. When they ran into a snag, Adam approached it with a 'can do' and 'it's all good' attitude. Their demeanor was always pleasant, respectful and positive. And I was never made to feel as if my job was onerous on them. They cleaned up after themselves, and Adam even followed up with a "how's it going?" call after the install. I am absolutely happy I chose Adam's company for this job. From pre-sale, through installation, to post installation follow-up, I found him to be on time, professional, and 'involved' with everything. His installation is working great, and I would absolutely recommend him! Thank you, Adam! You are going into my GREAT CONTRACTOR file! read more

Excellent!!! Responsible, reliable, reasonable and the fastest service in town. BRAVO to you Adam and your helper. Summer heat was horrible and we were having a AC problem since Friday July 7. I realize the company that we are working with can't come today July 10 and the temperature inside was 94 :-( After few phone calls Adam was the only person who promise to come today and did. Outstanding! I called him 1:40 pm he was here 2:50 pm. Can't be any better... Thank you read more

I often feel like 5 stars is a bit of an exaggeration but I can't imagine a better experience with a repair person. Adam quickly figured out what my problem was and handled it like an absolute champ. He's really easy to talk with, no nonsense kinda guy. Our Calico trusted him too which is usually a quick and dirty way to know someone is good to go. If you live within their network I can't recommend them enough. And judging by the other reviews here I'm apparently not alone. read more

I have a unique, at least for this area, heating system. It is a hydronic heating system, which means is uses hot water to heat. I had 2 previous quotes. First person admitted he was not familiar and suggested I get another company (he was super nice). Second company said they were very familiar with my system, even knew my condo complex by name. When his guy came out, he had NO idea what he was talking about(I knew more than he did). When CAS came out, they had it assessed and handled in minutes. They flushed the coil system and got it working. There was an issue with the valve from the hot water heater to the HVAC system. They came back the next night with the necessary part and had my house HOT in no time. I believe the price charged was fair and the work was guaranteed! Super nice guys! Really friendly. Made sure I understood everything that was going on and educated me on my system. I found them via their Yelp reviews and am happy I trusted them! read more

I had my AC unit break down at one of my commercial spaces and was desperate to get it repaired before my customers and employees started arriving as it was an extremely hot day and the temperature was rising by the minute. After calling several companies and being told they had no appointments available, I found Adam's listing on Yelp and decided to give him a try. Not only did he squeeze me into his schedule at the last minute, but he showed up earlier than expected and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. He and his assistant were thorough and made sure that our issue was completely fixed before he left. The price was very reasonable as well. Overall, I would highly recommend CAS and plan to use them in the future if I'm ever in need of AC service! read more

Adam and Rudy were super and incredibly reasonable price wise. Had a broken AC and called Reliable and got a quote for $1000 to repair beforeI even tested it after we'd turned it off. Fortunately it worked when we turned it on and I sent him away. 20 minutes later it went down again so I called five contractors on yelp looking for best price and someone who could get here fast. Adam did the job for $650 and showed up 20 minutes after call. Awesome. It works great. read more

Outstanding customer service and very reasonable prices. During the heat wave, Adam was able to come out the same day to work on my unit. They were great and reasonable pricing! Also, they responded quickly and came early!

My husband and I would like to thank Adam and Rudy for coming out and rescuing us during this heat wave. Our air conditioner stopped working, we called Custom Air Specialists and they showed up when they said, and were in and out in 30 mins. It was the capacitor. They did it all with a smile and a great attitude. Thank you for not only great service at a reasonable price but for your honest approach. We had contacted Reliable in El Cajon California and they were a disaster with shady employees. Luckily we were able to get Adam and Rudy to come out. Thanks guys we really appreciate you We will be sharing your business card with all our friends. Businesses like you deserve much success, keep that honest approach. We're very grateful. read more

You said you couldn't make it out until later in the day due to another job you called and showed up 2 hrs earlier! You could have charged an arm and a leg cause we were at your mercy to help fix our dead AC. You didn't! You came and you conquered and got our house to cool off with a working AC! Thank You Thank You!! read more

When I needed a second opinion, I called CAS and the owner assured me he would send somebody out same day, even if that meant him coming out himself after his last job for the day. This was great news because the summer heat had already hit and I needed my AC working ASAP! Adam showed up and quoted me a price that was nearly half of what the other company (a local chain that shall remain nameless)! He fixed my issue in less than two hours! He showed me what was wrong with the unit, and broke down the charges so I knew exactly what I was paying for. I wish there were more honest companies like CAS. They seem very knowledgeable and straightforward. They're forever my go-to for any AC or heater issues that may come up in the future! read more

I would HIGHLY recommend this company! Prompt service, honest pricing, and great customer service. You don't get a robot tech repeating the same information to every customer; you get Adam, the owner, who takes time to get to know you and your specific wants and needs. He was at my house working on the issue the SAME DAY I called, which is important because we have kids in our house. He even came with treats for my hyperactive dog, who does that?! Seriously, he's the best! I wish he did more than heating and AC! read more
